Introduction
This is not an in depth guide. I just wanted to share my build with other Taric mains.
Make no mistake that you will be more squishy with this rune build, but if you play it right you will completely dominate your lane and possibly the whole game.
9X Mana regen seals - Taric's abilities utilizes a great amount of mana resources. This helps Taric to use his stun and abilities more frequently
9X Armor Marks - This will give Taric a little more defense against AD
9X Scaling cooldown reduction - Using scaling cd is better than flat cd reduction runes. this means you do not have to compromise on less tanky items. The only cd item you will get is Iceborn Gauntlet. It is the perfect item as it also works well with taric's passive as well as increasing his damage.
1X Quints of CD reduction - To give you even more cooldown
2X Quints of Movement Speed - Because Taric is melee, movement speed will help for engages and escape

I will only discus 1 mastery here. Why did I choose Thunderlord's Decree and not Windspeaker's Blessing.
In my personal opinion the new heal on Taric is extremely weak. I think that Thunderlord's Decree works really well with Taric's new passive of increased attack speed for 2 hits. You will be able to proc it regularly and increase your damage.

Remember that this build will make you squishy until you get your tank items. During the lane phase you need to keep your distance or hide in the bush. You need to wait until the enemy team tries to engage your ADC. Your stun will provide the protection. This is when you can really do some damage. You can also try and stun when the enemy has a few enemy minions left in lane. Try and get stuns off regularly, especially when they are out of position. Once stunned you can engage, this is where the MS runes come in handy. Stun, run to enemy, engage, proc Thunderlord's Decree. There is a high chance that your ADC will finish the kill. Finaly please don't hesitate to use your Ultimate to dive towers.
Again please remember you are not the tank. What I normally do is use bastion on one of my engaging team members. I then stay back and throw those stuns while he engages. This also allows you to protect the back line as well. This also provides that your ultimate covers a large area including the back line. You can also engage on single enemy targets. and let your team do the rest.
