Abuse the Meta as Blitz (Unstoppable Korean Builds)

Introduction
Hi I'm Dopi, a diamond 4 Support in EUW and I mostly main hook champions. I've made a lot of other guides about Supports (Mostly Tanks) and I'd like if you checked them out. Thank you for reading this guide and I hope it helps you become better at Blitzcrank.

Runes
First I will explain the runes. Our main rune is Spellbook which can change your current spell to another one. This is especially useful with Smite since you can change it whenever you've used it and prepare for an incoming fight by swapping it to a key spell like ignite.

Smite is a very useful spell since it can help us steal enemy jungle champs, clear minions or secure objectives and Spellbook helps us to make sure that we don't fall behind because of the missing kill pressure that Smite has (especially when you don't have a jungle item).

The inspiration tree is generally very helpful because it offers us tools to be more creative with our builds and gain spikes faster which is why we have future's market.

The 2nd precision tree can usually be replaced by whatever you want but I've chosen Presence of Mind so we don't run out of mana and Legend: Tenacity for increase mobility.

Of course the second runeset is Aftershock. It's usually preferred since its a safe option and easy to use. You can take this if you want to be more tanky and gain access to runes like demolish.

At last we have Predator which is a rune that makes you very fast. In combination with your mobility boots and celerity, you can outroam anyone on the enemy team and land some free hooks onto your enemy since you can just move up to them and knockup. You should take this runeset if you want to punish immobile champions that are rather safe aswell as flashy champions like Katarina who can only teleport to her daggers and enemies/allies etc.
Pros & Cons
These are the pros and cons of the standard Spellbook runeset.

Pros:

+Very useful especially with Spellbook to change spells
+Surprises your enemy
+Can be very annoying and hard to deal with
+Can easily secure objectives if your jungler isn't there

Cons:

-Doesn't make you very tanky
-Requires decent knowledge of the game depending on elo
Start of the Game
At the start of the game you walk up to the enemy buff and place down a ward, then leave since the enemies will usually place a ward aswell to see who's there. As the buff spawns and they're attacking it, you move up and prepare to hook the buff. You don't have to steal it as long as you just hook it away and waste your enemies time. If you're getting in danger don't be scared to flash out/over a wall as it won't be much of a problem since you still have hexflash.

If the buff is low HP, you can use Smite on it to steal it from the enemy jungler. If not you can just repeat this process to waste as much time as possible.
Laning Phase
In the laning phase you should sit back and Smite low hp cannons to gain gold from your support item. You shouldn't try to engage at all and wait for your enemies to make a move first so you can punish them. If its a passive lane like Ezreal and Sona you can push up and roam or try to land hooks.

The best way to land hooks is using your hook through a minion, then smiting it so it dies. Your enemies won't be prepared since they expect your hook to stop at the minion but since you're smiting it, it will die and the hook will go through. That way you can have some surprising attacks.
Mid Game
In the Mid Game you want to roam as much as possible and fight around big objectives, usually drakes. Since you have smite, you can steal it from the enemies if they're on it or force a fight near it. You can also sneak it with your jungle whenever you want as long as its a strong jungler like Olaf, Warwick since your extra smite will be very useful.

During this time there will mostly be fights around mid lane so you want to change your smite to a key spell like ignite, exhaust and force fights by pulling an enemy.
Builds
Since no game is the same you should take whatever you think fits the best. You don't have to follow an exact order and can just build whatever you want first. No game is the same and you will always have to go for items first since they fit better in different games.

Usually the standard item you will go for are Shurelya's for the increased mobility for yourself and your teammates. This will help them to follow your engage better or run away from enemies if your abilities are on cooldown.
Conclusion
In the end I hope you enjoyed reading this guide and it helped you to become better at playing Blitzcrank. If you have any questions, feel free to ask them. If you liked this guide or are interested in similar ones you can check out my other guides.
