First I will go over the items that make this build strong. First you want to start with a doran's ring and a few health potions, then once you get 750 gold buy tear of the goddess to build into Archangel’s staff but only once you get stacks/bonus mana on the tear from using abilities once you get 300 stacks you can buy the staff. So while you wait and farm stacks you will build rod of ages.
Once you buy your rod you should have 300 stacks. Next you want to build a Rabadon’s deathcap. You build this next so you get a ridiculous amount of damage. Rabadon’s gives you the most base AP in the game plus 35% of all of your ap which scales off of your Archangel’s staff. So once you have these items you will have about 500 ap.
Then I against an AP mid laner you should build abyssal scepter, what this does is get magic resist to reduce their damage make you do more damage, and ignore their resistances for even MORE damage. Now we either build Luden’s Echo, or Void staff based off the enemy team comp. Luden’s on assassins, or glass cannons and Void staff against tanks or heavy magic resist. Another option is building both.
Also for boots I recommend lucidity boots to get your E up more often. Also for situational items I recommend Liandry’s torment or Rylai’s Crystal Scepter if you are losing lane so you can tank for more damage and try to farm more effectively.
I have tested this build many times and the sheer damage you dish out is so insane I have become an anivia just because of my win rate on this champion. I hope you enjoy this terrifying anivia build, just be sure to try it in draft before you go into ranked with it so you get a feel with it, it is not easy but when learned it is VERY easy.

Next I will go over masteries I run 12/18/0, or in other words 12 masteries in ferocity, 18 in cunning, and 0 in resolve. The exact masteries in ferocity are fury, feast, vampirism, and oppressor.
I chose these masteries because it gives attack speed to help with CS, Lifesteal to help regen damage from poke early when farming, and oppressor is important because if you land your stun which I will tell you tips and tricks on how to do you do extra damage if you land the stun.
For Cunning I chose these mainly for Assassin and Thunderlords decree, what these do are one does extra damage constantly because it is a 1v1 mid lane without a friendly jungler, and thunderlords because it makes your ultimate do extra damage if they stay in it for 3 seconds or 2 seconds and you land your E ability.

This section will go over combos to further advance your skills with the champion.
First I will go over combos, the first combo is poke to chunk your opponent massively, it is quite simple all you need to do is land your Q to stun and before the stun wears off use your E which has the potential to chunk your enemy to half hp and definitely win a trade.
Next I will go over an all in combo, first you wall then Ultimate, Q E Auto Auto and E again. Without your ultimate it's the same combo without damage per second which in the early game will still most likely kill with a little AP.

This Chapter has the summoner spells for the champion and explains why you would want certain summoner spells, and when you would want to use those spells.
Lastly I will explain the summoner spells best for anivia. If you get counterpicked by an assassin you should get heal flash, but against anybody else who isn't tanky or a ranged cannon I highly recommend flash ignite. I always recommend flash for escaped because of how immobile Anivia is.
I recommend heal against assassins for the extra health and movement speed the heal gives so you can escape the high damage output.
against a ranged champion I recommend ignite to finish off the kills you normally wouldn't be able to early on so you can get your items faster.
