Introduction
In dark halls, hidden from society, Elise preached the word of a mythical spider god. Her desperate followers hungered for the god's favor, believing its blessings to be the source of Elise's vibrance and power. When Elise proclaimed that she would lead a pilgrimage to the spider god's shrine, she selected only her most devout disciples to join her. Ecstatic, the chosen few followed her blindly as she led them on a perilous journey across the sea. When they came ashore at their final destination, the mysterious Shadow Isles, Elise led them to a cavern shrouded in webs. Expecting a shrine, the group looked to their priestess in confusion. She turned to the crowd and raised her arms in triumph, revealing strange, spiderlike legs that grew out of her back. Seeing her terrifying true form for the first time, Elise's followers turned to flee, but she conjured magical webs to trap them. With her victims ensnared, she turned to face the cave and uttered a screeching cry. An enormous undead spider-beast emerged from the darkness, dragging its hideous bulk on thick, pointed legs. Elise's followers could only scream as the monstrous spider ate them alive. She approached the sated creature, extracted its venom, and drank the strange substance. An immediate sense of rejuvenation flowed through her veins. With mortality delayed once again, Elise left to rejoin her congregation. They were overjoyed to hear that their fellows had chosen to remain at the spider god's sacred home. Elise reassured her disciples that she would lead another pilgrimage in due time. The spider god would be waiting.
''The truly faithful need not fear the spider's embrace.''

This build for
Elise is not a tanky one. It covers the highest amount of dmg, with at least a bit tankyness.
If you want to burst down the enemy ADC or APC follow this guide.
You will actually deal like 30% of the enemies current health + 230.
Same effect in spiderform with missing health.
Means: 40% dmg from
Neurotoxin / Venomous Bite , + 750 dmg from
Volatile Spiderling / Skittering Frenzy. (lvl 18 adc around 2.000 hp) = 450 HP left. Spiderform
Neurotoxin / Venomous Bite finishes.
Well, I would agree, that there are different viable builds, but this is YOLO Queue Carry guide. :>

Neurotoxin / Venomous Bite vs.
Volatile Spiderling / Skittering Frenzy

Well i would (as i did :>) recommend maxing

Reasons: No skillshot, no increased mana costs, more burst dmg increased/lvl, less cooldown.
Furthermore, you don't really need AOE dmg this early on, while you are on a solo lane. ;)
Start of with
Boots and 3/4x
Health Potion.
Your mobility is key to poke and being safe.
you could also start with
Crystalline Flask and Potions, what gives you the opportunity to poke more and stay longer.
Try to get
Haunting Guise as soon as possible.
If you feel unsafe or you think you lack in mana regen, just buy 1 or 2
Doran's Ring.
I usually run 1. ;)
After this, upgrade your boots to
Sorcerer's Shoes to get even more magic penetration and finish the
Liandry's Torment for maximum poke.
Now we reached the tricky part. from here, you have several ways to go, belonging on the enemy:
If you have trouble with low armor stats rush
Glacial Shroud into
Iceborn Gauntlet.
If this is not the case, just run
Abyssal Mask and
Void Staff.
My usually endbuild Elise is like this:
Situational items:
I do not cover the attack speed builds, using
Wit's End or
Nashor's Tooth e.g.

I usually start poking my enemy right from the start with
Neurotoxin / Venomous Bite.
Once you hit lvl 3, have your opponent poked to like 75%, the less, the better.
Transform into spider form and wait shortly to refresh it's cooldown. Use
Cocoon / Rappel and
Neurotoxin / Venomous Bite, transform to human and use
Cocoon / Rappel ->
Neurotoxin / Venomous Bite ->
Volatile Spiderling / Skittering Frenzy.
This will usually be enough to already finish up your opponent with
Ignite.
You will learn to guess the dmg you can put out.
I know, that
Neurotoxin / Venomous Bite would deal more dmg with lower hp, but the most enemies will come into your
Cocoon / Rappel range, while in spider form.
Furthermore it is easier to hit your
Cocoon / Rappel in human form, if you stand right in front of the enemy.
Do not forget, that you will have your
Cocoon / Rappel in spider form only once in a shorter fight, so don't waste it and choose carefully, when you use it.
The standard
Elise combo is: Human form:
Cocoon / Rappel ->
Neurotoxin / Venomous Bite ->
Volatile Spiderling / Skittering Frenzy -> Spiderform ->
Cocoon / Rappel ->
Neurotoxin / Venomous Bite.
When the enemy want to fight you, dont forget, that your Spider form will deal more dmg and it also makes you tankier.
I remember you:
"Spider Form: Elise deals 10/20/30/40 (+0.3) bonus magic damage per attack and gains 10 Movement Speed, 10/15/20/25 Armor, and 10/15/20/25 Magic Resistance.
Spiderlings: Spiderlings deal 10/20/30/40 (+0.1) damage and take 10/20/30/40% reduced damage from multi-target abilities. Max 2/3/4/5 Spiderlings."

Whatever, do not simply follow these combos, think about the ability order, that suits the given situation the best!
I will add more and more matchups that you will maybe meet.
You can also add your experiences. I will edit it then.
Olaf usually has a hard time vs.
Elise, because olaf usually runs HP. Poke him all day, make sure to dodge the
Undertow and permanently poke him.
When he uses ult, wait with
Cocoon / Rappel and stun him after. if he wants to engage you, juke it out with
Cocoon / Rappel in spiderform.
zedd
zedd can be very annoying, while he uses energy and has a lot of harassing potential with his
Razor Shuriken and the
Living Shadow+
Shadow Slash combo. you can shut him down in the early game too. If you have troubles, run the
Glacial Shroud after
Haunting Guise.
Be carefult with your
Cocoon / Rappel, while he can juke it with his
Living Shadow.

Irelia has a hard time vs.
Elise. While the sustain from
Irelia is limited, since she reaches 6 and gets
Transcendent Blades. When she jumps on you with
Hiten Style and
Bladesurge, just stun her and wait till
Hiten Style ends, because it is the main dmg output from irelia. If you fall behind very hard, consider
Frozen Heart or
Randuin's Omen, because AS slow is crucial for
Irelia.
Jax is one of the harder lanes for
Elise.
with
Leap Strike+
Empower and
Counter Strike his burst will be enormous. Once he hit 6 even more.
try to instant stun him, when he jumps to you or dodge the stun with cocoon / rappel] in spider form. Try to poke, i recommend a [[crystalline flask to sit on your lane and trade more. punish him for csing!
Singed is just really annoing. It will be hard to kill him, once he reached 6. get him before, maybe ask for a early gank. His movementspeed and tankyness + the sustain from Catalyst the Protector make it hard to kill him. If you know that you won't be able to kill him, roam or farm.
Your
Cocoon / Rappel secure you, if he wants to engage.
Other matchups are coming soon!

I think,
Elise deserves an extra part for this.
The reason to build so much MPEn is, that your
Neurotoxin / Venomous Bite deals % dmg from the current healt / missing health as magic dmg.
I know, many people would say: it scales with AP!
True story bro, but the amount of AP you have to get, to balance the dmg that you get from [void staff] is too damn high. the most in the lategame.
Dealing like 30% true dmg of the enemies current health is just destroying.
