Season 8's here!
Similar to Sona with the aery rune, she's a pest in lane, with high poke damage, high pressure, strong buffs, powerful sustain, and great peel. Thanks to the masteries you take, you will not encounter mana problems, making the opponents lane a living hell.
What to build and when to build (Refer to items above)
(Mandatory) - Vision Control = Map Control = Easier to win
(Mandatory) - Huge movement speed buff, getting you around the map and to teammates faster.
(Mandatory) - Item which has many uses. Healing teams during times of fights, objectives, after fights, push lane when low.
(Mandatory) - Nice shield for your entire team. Can protect against strong bursts and buy you and your team more time in fights.
(Strong) - Good item but scales with how good your carry is. You can always entrust this to your top or mid so they may carry harder. The choice is yours.
(Good) - Extremely beneficial to the team. Can benefit those who utilize attack speed even more. Stronger heals, I'll take that any day.
(Good) - Comes in handy when the enemy team has CC that can get your ADC killed instantly.
Rylai's Crstal Scepter (Okay-Good) - Speeding up allies while slowing down enemies, keeps you on top of your opponents.
(Good) - MR and heal stats, nice mana regen stat as well.

You have to be able to process a lot during team fights. If you can't, it may cost you the fight. Don't worry, you'll get used to it in no time. It's okay though, the fights will be demanding, you will make mistakes. Accept these mistakes and learn from them!
Now: Lets prioritize what we're doing with Nami:
Lane Phase:
Poke with your W. Maximize the use of your W when you go in so it can bounce back. If it doesn't bounce back a 3rd time don't worry, this is more than enough. Keep and eye out for your ADC's health as when you engage your W will not only heal them, but speed them up and do damage to the closest enemy. Do not burn your Q unless you are certain you can engage or are in the middle of engaging. Your E may be granted to help champs last hit otherwise, such as: a Vayne under tower. The most important tip I have is to not lose lane. By not losing lane you are significantly increasing the chances of the game playing into your hands when you come to help the other teammates on your team later. If your ADC is struggling, do your best to support them and encourage them! Nami is ridiculously strong come late game as her kit as well as items that will be built will make her a teamfight empowering monster!
Engaging:
A good way to set up an engage is making sure the ADC is ready to move when your jungler comes or you two go in against their bot lane. By granting them your (E), you allow them to move forwards quickly while also empowering their next 3 auto-attacks. This is strong on champions such as Lucian as he can immediately proc 2 AA's after an ability. Your ADC will most likely be damaged immediately. Grant them your W so that they can be healed as well as damage the enemy. This can keep you ADC kiting and dodging skillshots. Your AA's are also significant in determining the fight's early as they've dealt a good amount of damage at the end of the fight. These will not be as important later. After the enemy ADC blows any dashes or mobility that they have, it's now the best time to bubble. During this time, your ADC should be teeing off the enemy with damage. The decision to exhaust during any point in this fight is situational and entirely up to YOU. It's better to have blown it and have your ADC live than to have not and your ADC die.
Wards:
Keep the river brush warded. Use control wards at your discretion. There are more than good odds that once you have a sightstone and sweeping lens you will be moving away from lane a lot more, so keep the brush warded. It is important that you have vision in your jungle and river at all times so your team can communicate better. Pings alone are not enough! Wards in the opposing jungle are unbelievably powerful later in the game, but do not mindlessly start placing wards into the opposing jungle. Be smart as the last thing you want to run into is anybody on the enemy team.
Objectives:
When contesting herald, dragon, or baron, locking down the opposing jungler before they can get into the pit is huge. The opposing jungler needs to be blocked at all costs! You job does not end here though! If there is or are any fed enemies coming towards the pit, be mindful of them and coordinate using pings.
Teamfights:
There is going to be a lot to process here and this is what's going to be the difference in making or breaking a good nami...I can't tell you all the details as I'm not going to describe every situation that can happen in a fight! Stay in your backline. Peel for your ADC or whomever's carrying you. The outcome of the game is in their hands and your making their back a heck of a lot lighter! It is important that you are mindful of your tanks but are prioritizing the fed members of your team. When it comes to late game, keep a close eye over your ADC. If your Yasuo is carrying the game and your ADC's a bit behind, you watch Yasuo's back! This is where itemization is huge. Do you best to keep your team alive and that those with the highest carry potential stay alive ESPECIALLY. Your use of abilities such as your Q and ULT are very important here. Make sure that you are prioritizing your use of Locket and Mikael's if need be. Your placement of redemption is also huge in determining the outcome of a fight. Keep in mind also using Redemption in the Baron or Dragon pit to keep your team going! Knight's vow is a great item, but I only see it as useful if I can trust my ADC is accomplishing his ROLE! Otherwise itemize for what you would think would help your team out most!
Here's a little tip... And it's a little irritating to me that a lot of others don't think about it... Executioners Calling...? It's a fantastic item that your ADC or AD midlaner should think about getting if the other team has a strong healing potential.

Thank's for reading my guide! I took a lot of time in it. If the guide gets good result's I'll continue to improve it and hopefully add images. If you have any questions about how to play this champ, feel free to add me! I don't only play Nami haha. I'll work on my favorite and least favorite ADC pairings in the future.
