Champion Build Guide
Introduction
Hi, I'm Divine, a League of legends player that's been playing since season season 5. During that time I was a diamond player through out season 5/6 and hit masters on season 7. On season 8 i finally got challenger on euw. Ive been mainly playing euw server , but also smurfing on East server. S9 challenger aswell , S10 grandmaster cause i wasnt that active. And current season i hit challenger aswell. I can play every role to a very high level and have a very good understanding of the general aspects of the game on top of that. I also stream my gameplay if you wanna check it out

Season 9
Season 10
Ever since Kai'Sa got released it has been my most comfortable and favorite pick in soloQ since it scales well and has an amazing kit which i personally admire. The mobility the champion has is extraordinary. I picked Kai'Sa up right after she got released and ever since ive always played her in a high skilled lvl which I show when I stream on twitch, if you want tips and tricks and further knownledge, make sure to check my twitch out!
In this guide i will be writing specifics about Kai'Sa in general and what you need to know. I really hope that you as a reader will enjoy this guide as it has some really quality knownledge that I have written down. With that being said, lets get started!
RUNES
Choosing Correct runes.
Hail of Blades : This keystone is by far the best one for Kai'Sa at the moment since it helps u proc your passive and deal a high DPS with your three attack proc.
Taste of Blood: This rune allows you too trade well while healing a bit of amount back.
Zombie Ward: This is by far in my opinion better than eyeball collection since this will grant you a ward after taking enemy wards and also Gives u AD.
Ravenous Hunter This rune is by far the best healing tool other than Bloodline since you cant really good bloodline in this tree. This rune helps you with trades in mid late game as it will help you heal up through your abilities and attacks.
Magical Footwear: Choosing this allows you too not spend any gold on buying boots which in my opinion is the right choice since there are key items that you really need in early phase. So that being said, getting a free worth of 300 g is essenstial.
Biscuit Delivery: Biscuits are really good for early laning phase since it gives u survivabilty and more chances too continue trading in lane whilst not wasting that much mana and hp.
KAI'SA RELEASE
Kai'Sa was released at March 7th, 2018, the champion itself was one of the most strongest AD carriy in the game which took over every stage of the game. There were alot of builds that could be done , for instance Deaths dance into rageblade, these 2 combined were really broken on Kai'Sa which gave her alot of burst damage and sustain. You could basically go a hybrid build , example was , deathsdance into rageblade and Nashoors Tooth. But ever since Season 11 started , new items were implemented too the game such as Kraken Slayer, Galeforce and The collector which then was part of Kai'Sa build path. In this Current season the AP build for Kai'Sa got nerfed. That being said, you most likely always go for the AD crit build as its the best option in my opinion. I will explain down below about what item too choose!
KNOWING WHAT MYTHIC TO CHOOSE
Now lets get started with letting you know what mythic item too choose. It really comes down too what mythic item suits the game. For example, let us say that you're vs 2-3 tanks that you specifically need to kill. In this scenario choosing Kraken Slayer as mythic is by far the best choice as it will give you plenty of DPS in order too take down enemy tanks as it works well with your kit. Another example of when to go Galeforce is when you're vs squishy targets that you most likely cant get in range too auto attack and also need it as a disengage tool.
Now that you have chosen your mythic item, your second item will most likely be The Collector as it gives you alot of DPS and works as an execute. What i tend to do in my games depending on how much gold I have, for example if I base with 1500 gold i usually buy Noonquiver since it costs 1300 gold and u can get Refillable Potion for 150 gold. Another example is if I base with 1300 gold , I would directly go for Serrated Dirk as it costs 1100 gold and I can also buy Refillable Potion aswell. That being said you will almost most likely need to buy , Noonquiver, Serrated Dirk and Pickaxe. Since you want too have the early Q upgrade for higher burst damage. It really doesnt matter which one you buy first, as long as u buy these three components before finishing mythic. Now you're probably asking me "why not finish Kraken Slayer or Galeforce before I buy Serrated Dirk" , thats fine if you want to do that, but you will hold back on your Q evolve which is essenstial for Kai'Sa as it grants you a high burst damage in isolation and teamfighting. Remember , Early Q upgrade is overpowerd on Kai'Sa as you will became a big threat for enemy team since you have a huge amount of burst damage with your Q being evolved. Moving on, you dont necessairly have to finish The Collector as your second item as it depends on what you're up against, If you're up against squishy targets , then yes, finishing The Collector will be a huge powerspike for Kai'Sa as it will execute them while having low % hp. But, If you're vs two or three tanks, Finishing The Collector wont be as effective versus them as they tend to build armor, what you can do is you should really consider buying Last whisper and finishing Lord Dominik's Regards, as it will important versus tank compositions, since you will most likely need to be the main carry too deal with them.
Your third item will vary from game to game, I personally usually go for Phantom Dancer as it gives you plenty of attack speed when fully stacked which synergieses really well with Kraken Slayer passive. On top of that, you'll get an insane amount of movement speed to help you kite around enemies.
At this point of the game, the games are usually over at 3 items. But if the game proceeds longer you'll want too get your fourth and fifth item. That being said, Infinity Edge is a really good fourth item choice as it will buff your crit damage up and you will do insane amount of damage in teamfights, basically 3 shotting enemies!
The Fifth item kinda varies of what you essenstially need , it can be a Qss versus CC comps or perhaps a Guardian Angel or Zhonya's Hourglass. I personally tend to go for Zhonya's as it grants armor and a bit of AP damage and also has lower cooldown than an Guardian Angel. For example Zhonya's would be really good versus assassins or champions were you need to dodge skillshots. You could always buy a stopwatch at mid/late game and then later in game upgrade it too an Zhonya's Hourglass or Guardian Angel. You Usually tend to build stopwatch/guardian angel as a final item. But like I said, Zhonya's Hourglass is really good item that you should consider.
GAMEPLAY
I will explain in this section a little bit about laning phase for Kai'Sa, Your first ability will always be Q since it allows you too poke enemies while using auto attacks. And also it does a great job at clearing minion wave. But sometimes you can start W if you see a window too steal enemy red or blue buff from lvl 1, that's if you have vision over the buff. But Q is 100% the first ability too level as it will help you with doing trades in lane.
You should always strive to get lvl 2 before the enemy does since thats when you have your best power spike. But this varies from game too game, some matchups you cannot really contest the first 2 waves as that is "weak side" laning.
Tips about combos on level 2 if you somehow see a window too kill. I usually tend to Auto attack and Q proc and try too W flash either forward towards enemy, or side ways if I cannot necessairly hit my W straight forward.
Mid/Late game
When it comes too mid/late game your job as an adc is too follow your teammates too get objectives on the map, Using good macro wins you 90% of your games. But thats knownledge about the game itself when it comes too ending games at past 20 min mark.
Something that you as a player can implement is for instance hovering your sidelaner since you can always follow up with your ultimate too grant a kill and put pressure on the map and being closer too victory.
Make sure too never be alone on sidelane's without any vision whatsoever as its essenstial for you not to die. That being said, do not greed for minion waves even if it seems tempting, most of the times ADC players tend too die greeding for a minion wave at sidelane while having no control on the map.
TEAMFIGHTING
When it comes to team fighting as an ADC, you should mainly look to attack the one closest too you and not greed to kill enemy carries through their frontline which will make you end of dying in the process. That being said, focus on attacking the ones closet too you since it will most likely be their front line (tanks), but here is a thing you could do, if your for instance top or mid has somehow a flank where he can CC lock enemy carries, you could always try too R back to the enemy carries after attacking the front line, but this requires a big awerness, it usually comes with more games played on Kai'Sa so dont worry! Picking this up can be really beneficial.
It is usually best too to take down the enemy carries before the tanks, but as the ADC if you try to attack the carry while there are two or three enemy champions infront of you they will all focus you which will make you eventually die. If your team has engagement tools such as malphite R or leona R, you can always follow up with your ultimate too try to ***inate enemy carries. Thats only if you're fed and your team is engaging properly. But other than that, you should always try to kite backwards if enemies are moving closer too you. I feel like Kai'Sa is one of the best ADC's in this season that can do this, it is fine if you're behind in game, Your R can help you get back into the game since it allows you too follow up in some good engages. Kai'Sa also scales really well, so that being said , if you're behind in a game, do not tilt. Your champ will eventually outscale the longer the game goes.
CONCLUSION
That's it for my Kai'Sa guide. I hope that you found this somehow helpful and learned to play Kai'Sa. If you Enjoyed reading this, I will most likely make other guides on different ADC champions. Thank you for taking your time too read this through!
