Introduction
Add me for ranked/solo queue, I'd love to find a duo partner. Also, if you're interested in making a team, let me know.
About the Stick Almighty In the current meta, Fiddlesticks is the best, if not only counter mage support. Landing Crowstorm --> terrify spells trouble for Annie before she can even land her combo. It is also easier done than said.
Pros
Cons
-
Toolkit designed to wreck bot supports and just about anyone LOL
Works in most teamcomps, especially in double AP situations because of MR aura passive
Enough (base) damage to singlehandedly destroy enemy mid/adc laner
Good sustain
Cons
-
Squishy, this is bad when the enemy has several tanks/assassins
Good initiator but cant be used against certain teams
Besides ult, the main source of damage comes from w which can be countered by silences/knockups
This is the part most people dont read unless they actually care about perfecting the support role.
Tactics - Pre 6
Dark Winds does 65 damage per bounce. If it ricochets well it means you can deal 195 damage to the ADC and 130 damage to the support, which is insane. Not only that, but it silences the enemies so they cant do anything to counteract the stick.
I buy the warding trinket for extra vision, I buy sweeping lens after I get Ruby Sightstone. Warding spots are where you can gain sight of enemy ganks before they come into effect, so I ward triforce and dragon. This way, I can see the enemy jungler before he can even lay hands on my precious bones.
I dont max dark winds because it can steal cs from the ADC and its hard to do a lot of damage once minions come into lane. I tend to wait for the enemy support to initiate, this way when I use my W, nothing can interrupt me. At level 5, I do 600 damage and heal 420 (hue) damage which is unreal. That's like 1020 (+90% AP) and is enough to counter any bot lane duel. I have even won three vs two just buy draining lee/elise/vi damage.
Tactics (6-11)
I buy a vision ward in the bot lane bush so I can ult without them suspecting it. The ult acts like a free flash and if you use flash afterwards, it has a pretty sick range to use the q-e-w combo.
Tactics (11-18)
Prepare for teamfights. Fiddlesticks doesnt deal well with poke from Nid/Jayce e.t.c so stay behind the tank. A few things can happen that initiate a teamfight
1. Their tank (i.e. Malph, Shyvana initiates)
I q-->e combo them to prevent them from shredding our squishies and spread from my team. I'm squishy and an orianna/aoe ult can hurt me. If I see their adc/mid overextending or coming in for the fight, I immediately channel my ult. I know that my team can back me up and I tend to have a zhonya's at this point. The smart thing would be for their squishy targets to back away from my large aoe. If they dont, they take 1000 damage gg.
Anyways, if they do, we woudlve shredded the enemy tank and I wont have taken any damage. Its better to engage than counter engage in these situations.
2. Their assassin initiates
I often see zed/leblanc camp in our bushes. I ping, q-->e and hope my teammates can kill the enemy before their team can react. Fiddlesticks alone cant fight a zed but with another champ, hes so good with small squirmishes because of utility
3. I ult in
If I'm confident, I find a good place to ult. Generally this could be at the wraith camp or behind a wall in fog of war. This is good for wrecking a baron attempt or a turret attempt. I ping and let havoc wreak. Generally I try to initiate on my team because my ult requires channel time. I just make sure that my team can follow up and I can escape if needed.
