You need to play def againts Fizz only because he has too much DMG. At lvl 6 just try to dodge his ulti's and try to bait his E then you can all in him and he will easily die. Maybe buy a Hexdrinker if he is dealing too much AP damage.

My name is Alex. I m a Gold3 player in the EUNE's servers. My main is obv Katarina and I really love her.She is a very nice and powerful Assasin. Im not the best Katarina Player but not the worst either.
Pros / Cons
-PROS-

- One of the strongest assassins in the game.
- Don't need mana.
- Can escape scary situations with shunpo, can be used on minions or allies.
- Snowballs very hard.
- AoE damage
- High mobility
- Healing/Damage reduction ability
- An aggresive laning phase.

- Brings nothing to the team aside from damage
- If you stun her she is dead
Team Work
-TEAM FIGHTS-
In Team Fights Kata can easily engage any fight and easily kill every enemy champ. You can Q a minion or an enemy champion and E on the dagger then R and easily kill everybody. Becareful at their stuns. If you are stunned you are an easy kill.
Farming
-FARMING-
Try to farm much in the early game to get some core items using your 'Farming Combo's' (E+W+Q+E) or (Q+E+W+E).

Tips And Tricks
2) Patience is a virtue. Learning to wait out certain big CC's that can stop you is key for any Katarina, just wait in the backline until the opportinity arises and BOOM they are all dead.
3) Distract. A very handy trick on Katarina is learning to go in and use E Q W and instantly using Zhonyas. During the 2.5 seconds stasis while zhonyas is active 95% of players will tunnel on you and this gives your team the chance to engage on them. Alternatively you could go in and oneshot the enemy carries, and die for it with GA, while you are invulnerable the enemy are very likely to be distracted and your team has the chance to catch up. This can also be applied to Zhonyas in the same situation.
4)If someone on the enemy team is saving a certain spell for you and you only until you go in, then you either
- Peel for your adc. Jump on whoever is trying to kill your adc and distract and kill them first.
- Don't participate in the fight.. If you don't go in then they won't use that ability and your team can potentially win because of it.
5) Clean Up.. Cleaning up just means you wait untill the latter stages of the fight and go in and play off your resets.
6) Wallhop. Katarina is able to go over thin walls if you set up a dagger right next to it. An example would be the wall behind Krugs or at the back of Dragon Pit.
7) Auto-Attack in passive animation. While you pick up a dagger and spin, you can auto-attack if you're in range.
