Introduction
Hi, I am some feeder that is currently unranked, bronze 2 in season s7 and have only played 13 ranked matches in my life.(this is not the best way to start a guide huh..)
However, I have played quite a few teemo matches(170,000 MR atm), not as many as most Teemo one tricks, but I do feel qualified enough to write this guide.
Anyway, who I am isn't important. Let's talk about Klepto Teemo.
What is, and why should you play Klepto Teemo?

Because Teemo's kit is such a blank slate, thus you could steer him in any direction with the right item build. This makes Teemo very item dependent.
By getting Klepto and building
Remnant of the Watchers(blue gold generation), you are able to come out of the laning phase much stronger, due to your additional gold income. And post laning you have a slightly easier time buying items as well. Due to the nerf of kleptomancy in 8.3, loot drop is greatly reduced after 15 min, but it could still provide you with with some very convenient item such as control ward, skills orb, and sorcery elixir for taking down towers.

Kleptomancy We are mostly interested in the 100 to 400 gold it'll give us coming out of laning phase. Although the loot it gives us is also very nice.Tier 1:
Slightly Magical Boots - the 10 additional movement speed is quite nice and its 300 free gold. Perfect Timing is also viable but I don't take it for 3 reasons:
- It's very likely that you won't be building a Zhonya's Hourglass
- due to the point above, free boots with +10 movement speed become more useful overall.
- I personally dislike the gameplay which the stopwatch brings, and i don't want to be come a part of problem
Tier 2:
Minion Dematerializer - while all three options in this tier is ok, but we are taking Minion Dematerializer because the other 2 are less useful to us.
- Future's Market isn't good because we are already getting items super early
- Biscuit Delivery : we are already have enough sustain from our pot, rune, and hp pot or biscuit provided by Kleptomancy
Minion Dematerializer isn't too noticeable, what is noticeable however, is the wave control potential of instantly killing a canon minion. By using Minion Dematerializer on canons or melees allows you to avoid getting shoved in hard match ups, and easily push in easier ones.Tier 3:
Cosmic Insight - 5% more cdr is pretty good :| Approach Velocity is also pretty good, tier 3 is your own preference(especially if you insist on building Frozen Mallet post nerf).Resolve
Tier 1:
Mirror Shell/ Iron Skin - pick according to match up. This rune will be in effect quite often due to all the consumable you'll be getting due to Kleptomancy. Conditioning comes in effect too late to be useful in laning phase, and also we are not planning to build full tank(tankmo is troll, stop lying to your selves).Tier 2:
Second Wind - this will help us regen some of our hp lossed since we'll trading relatively aggressively to proc our spell thief and klepto.Any other runes within the inspiration and resolve tree that are not mentioned is not viable for this play style.
Skill Sequence
Normally, start
Blinding Dart inorder to start procing kleptomancy as early.Then max E
Toxic Shot for more harass.Maxing Q or W second is really up to you. I like to
Move Quicker.I'll now talk about the exceptions.
The match ups where you shouldn't use klepto at all(arey + domination is a good ult): (these bois will kill u with death^)
Against these guys you should max Q until you get your
Remnant of the Watchers:
- Ryze
- Rumble
- any range mage used as counter pick, but you took klepto cuz they lane swapped or you got pranked during champ select.
I'll go in details with some interesting match ups later to use as examples.
