Hi, I'm Edd, a Master jungle main & I've been playing league ever since Ekko came out in late season 5. I placed plat in season 6 plying Cho'Gath top & hit diamond in s7 playing Warwick only. I've played countless games in both EUNE & EUW (below master both servers are the same but above master EUW is better) and even boosted people in both servers (all under p3). When I tryharded I had a 80% win rate with Warwick in plat 5 so it's safe to say that with practice, you can do it too.

Last season I had a decent win rate with him in d5



This season my win rate isn't this good as I was still figuring out jungle changes but I think Warwick is definitely still viable.

Pros + Relatively healthy even without leash + Great CC + Mixed damage so hard to itemize against + Negates CC if you hold down Q + Quick movement speed + Can peel for adc really well Warwick is a beast when it comes to the jungle. He can deal damage, easily setup ganks with the insane CC that he has, and if needed can peel for adc better than any support.

Cons - Alot of bugs - Can easily misplay - Easily kited if enemy has movespeed - Enemy at high level can bait your ult then collapse on you Warwick's weaknesses are not exactly weaknesses, simply bugs & mistakes players can make. A master tier Warwick player (on NA) that I watched to help me pickup the champion also thinks that if the bugs are resolved, Warwick will quickly be the #1 jungler again.

Titanic Hydra Rush this after Cinderhulk upgrade & boots if you are ahead. You will be naturally tanky from the stats & this gives you damage to really go in 1v3.

Dead Man's Plate If enemy has 3 AD champions you will want to rush this right after cinderhulk & boot upgrade.

Spirit Visage Gives you good healing & great stats against AP champions. If enemy has 2 AP champions that are giving you some hard time you might want to get this after cinderhulk & boots upgrade.

Thornmail If there's a fed master yi or yasuo (but only 1 person is building crit on enemy team) then you want this after cinderhulk & boots upgrade.

Gargoyle Stoneplate never pick this early (actually never even pick this late cus i never need it) but it's a good item if your game is long and enemies are balanced (let's say tank top AP mid AD bot & hybird jungler)

Randuin's Omen Gives you good healing & great stats against AP champions. If enemy has 2 AP champions that are giving you some hard time you might want to get this after cinderhulk & boots upgrade.

Blue Side:
1. Red
2. Blue
3. Scuttle
4. Gromp

and then you can choose whether you want to gank or invade depending on what's happening on the map.


Red Side:
1. Blue
2. Wolves
3. Red
4. Scuttle

And then from there it all depends on what's going on the map.

For team fights it depends if you're fed or not.

If Fed:
Go on whoever is the most fed (don't suicide wait for your team to be somewhat close). You will press E then hold q to get behind & then release E and immediately ult while they are feared to land it 100%. This should most likely land you a kill & secure the team fight for your team.


Not Fed:
You will peel for your carries. If anyone engages your mid laner or adc (depending on who's dealing damage pretty much) you will fear them the other direction or into your team depending on whether or not the mid laner will die (you need to keep them alive to carry you). You won't get acknowledged for "carrying" but you actually do end up carrying as without your peel they would have died.

PS: You can hold E and ult to fear everyone around the target you ulted, it's quite a cool trick if you got some AoE mid laner or something.

The way I improved was getting coached by a master Warwick player (Kingstix). I will leave his twitch here (not sure if he still plays Warwick but you can get tips on jungling in general aswell from him.
