Cassiopeia Passive Ability
Introduction
Cassiopeia was my most played champion in S2 and S3 and is currently my 2nd most played in S4.
This guide is really short and made to teach the basics of Cassiopeia.
Pros / Cons
- The most dominant laner in the game
- Insane DPS / Initiation
- Possible 500+ damage AoE stun
Cons :
- No escape abilities
- Next to no damage when missing your abilities
- Hard to play / position with

Champion Abilities
Noxious Blast :- AoE damage on cursor's location after a short delay
- Level 1 harassing ability
- Used to enable
Twin Fang spam Miasma :- Slowing poison field that grows over time
- Used to waveclear, zone and protect vs melee champs
- Combined with
Liandry's Torment for nice percentage hp damage Twin Fang :- Single target damage nuke
- Cooldown resets to 0.5 seconds when hitting a poisoned champion
- Used for infinite amount of DPS
Petrifying Gaze :- AoE damage CC ability
- Stuns enemies facing / slows enemies turning their backs
- Can be used with
Flash for amazing initiations

Rabadon's Deathcap : More AP = More damage-
Void Staff : Maximum penetration-
Zhonya's Hourglass : Nice AP / Allows to initiate more safely / Counter AD-
Sorcerer's Shoes : More penetration / Get early for lane dominance-
Liandry's Torment : Even more penetration / Tank shredding / Some early healthDefensive choices :

Abyssal Mask : Gives a nice amount of MR-
Banshee's Veil : Prevents lethal CC late game ( e.g. Rocket Grab / Unstoppable Force / Cease and Desist-
Guardian Angel : If you get focussed a lot / Nice in combination with Chronoshift / Omen of Death-
Spirit Visage : Boosts your healing through Will of the Ancients ( only in combination with WotA of course ) and gives some nice MRUtility choices :

Athene's Unholy Grail : For some really needed mana regen and magic resist-
Rylai's Crystal Scepter : Really nice choice for overall slowing and kiting (skip Zhonya's Hourglass for this item if you can-
Will of the Ancients : Spellvamp on Cassio works great / Skip Liandry's Torment for this item-
Seraph's Embrace : When playing vs AD champions build Tear of the Goddess over Chalice of Harmony since you don't need the MR
Gameplay
-Always try to poke as much as possible and use twing fang as much as you can
-Keep your enemies on their toes by pushing them into their turret while constantly harassing
-Always keep both sides warded
-You can cast your
Petrifying Gaze and then Flash to land it easierLevel 1 :
-Poke as much as possible with autoattacks and
Noxious Blast-If you land 2 or 3 in a row you can
Ignite the enemy which makes them blow Flash a lot of the timeLevel 2-5 :
-Hit
Noxious Blast and follow up with autoattacks and Twin FangLevel 6+ :
-Always try to land nice ultimates on your foe and look for as many all-ins as possible
Teamfights :
-Stay in the back and put down a lot of AoE's with
Noxious Blast and Miasma-If you see the opportunity to hit a group of enemies with
Petrifying Gaze go for it-Spam
Twin Fang on squishy carry champions-Don't forget to use
Zhonya's Hourglass
