Botrk - good synergy with devourer
Yoummus - an alternative to Botrk as it grants mobility which is great on junglers
Revenous Hydra - AOE to furthur proc Expose Weakness
Duskblade - Good synergy with devourer

Steraks, Black Clever, Titanic hydra - General health + Damage items to use when behind
Deadman's - Mobility + damage + tanky
Locket - Team player
Sunfires - its OP!!!!! (6.7)
Banshee's - Vs AP

Tips and Tricks

When using Nocturne's Unspeakable horror (E), you should flash the minute the enemy flashes away as the fear tether will still be attached for 1 second.

Nocturnes abilities can be casted during his ult

R+Q combo - Allows u to place the movment speed buff + damage buff on enemies

R+W combo - Dodge any possible CC or Panic ultimates

R+E combo - Lands CC for you to get free hits

Masteries choices explained

I pick Expose Weakness as it synergises well with his passive. Assassin mastery allows you to get more damage in fights, however if you are new feel free to swap with Runic Affinity
