Mostly, I will Q the wave (hoping to catch the enemy laner in the Q to activate Lethal Tempo) then move into the middle of the wave and use my passive to get the wave low. Then you can look for roams, an aggressive jungler works well as you can move in and help your jungler without sacrificing too much CS. Once you hit 6 and have your tiamat you can hard push your wave and make your way into the river. Then R into midlane E,Q and spell shield when needed. The Lethal tempo should go off once you have completed your fear this should be combined with your tiamat to reset your autoattack. Unless they are one chunky monkey they should be dead. Any champion with CC works very well with Nocturne as he is very squishy but deals a lot of damage. So far the easiest lane I have come up against is Yasuo.

So far in the ranked games I have played Nocturne in I have a 60% win rate using him top and jungle. Just top it move to about a 70% win rate. I am in silver 3 currently but this pick is helping me to climb rapidly.
