She completely counters you. Her ult makes you need to play more passive as you are ryze a high damage short range self sustaining caster. She is able to Freeze your sustain with her ult, stay out of your range and poke from afar, Once you ge tcaught out you are generally dead as she is a high damage machine gun with twin fangs and poison.

How Ryze combo Works.
3000+.
As Ryze for first kill advantage in lane. I save minimum 300 mana till i am level 3. To start off combo for early kill stack 2 q's when last hitting minions or poking enemy. Then once enemy is in range (whilst having 2 stacks on passive already) do the combo q,w,e . This starts your passive proceed q,e,q,w,q,e,q. Generally that combo kills the top laner.
Throughout the game you should always try and gather 3 stacks of your passive from your q. Before entering a teamfight as the q is very low cost and low cast time.
