Introduction
In a week, I reached Silver 2 mercilessly, getting many doubles but still not possessing much knowledge on Yasuo. I convinced myself that I was good as I went 20/0 many games. After putting a lot of effort earning LP, I managed to reach Gold 5 with at least 500 games. I surprisingly played well a lot, but I did not stop there. In 2 months, I played even more games and reached Platinum 5. After season reset, I continued my journey and got Gold 4 (5-5) for my provisionals. I played more games to get back Plat 5. After getting Plat 5, I stopped playing ranked convinced that I was pretty decent at the game. I started realising that my Yasuo is still not good enough, nowhere near to being a great Yasuo player. I put effort to researching and learning tips and tricks for Yasuo. I came across a player named “ArKaDaTa”, the Yasuo God. I looked up his channel and content. I was not surprised that most were Yasuo content and montages. I watched them and was simply amazed. I couldn’t believe someone was this good at Yasuo. I ended up watching his tutorials to become an even better Yasuo player. I mastered his techniques and played Yasuo consistently. Now, I am a Masters Yasuo Main.
Why should you trust me?

YELLOW UNDERLINE = IMPORTANT
Intent is the most important part of Yasuo, which makes Yasuo so strong, his crit chance is doubled meaning if he grabs A phantom dancer and Infinity edge = 50% crit x 2 = 100%, the damage is lower however, meaning that one of his crits will not deal more than what it should.
Resolve: This is your passive shield, there is not time when you can cast this is as a spell, move around to generate flow to create your passive shield, once broken, move around again to generate it back, this shield does not block Minion or Tower damage.
This is Yasuo's most important spell, Steel Tempest, the first two strikes stack up Gathering Storm which is a Skillshot tornado which knocks units airborne, this is important, This spell is treated as an auto attack, meaning the cooldown will be lowered with Attack speed and not CDR, later throughout the game this will still be your main damaging spell but try to AA more since your AA's will scale harder late game.
Yasuo applies on hit effects with this spell, but on the first target hit, Red buff for example, but Fervor of Battle and Grasp of the Undying will not work, because the Q did not directly hit them as the first target so it does not count, in laning phase trading becomes much easier if you know all about this ^^, your Q will not aggro minions if it does not hit the champion first, try abusing this to win trades, Max Q first only in Top lane when against Bruisers such as Darius and Irelia.
Max this last, take it level 3 if you are having troubles dodging skillshots vs Skillshot reliant, take this level 4 if you know your opponent will struggle hitting skillshots against you.
I guess this is what people call one of the most cancerous things of Yasuo, his mobility, yes I can agree Yasuo's mobility and chances to outplay someone are insane, Max this first.
You can level up this spell level 1 if you know you are going to beat them with damage, and sometimes even get first blood.

This is Yasuo's ultimate, After ulting your main damage comes in, You will be bursting ADCs in no time, shredding tanks with 50% bonus armor pen, After Ulting you will be granted a free shield, use this wisely and never forget about this, your chances of outplaying someone will be insanely increased considering the shield in 1v1s is considered strong.

These are very basic combos for trading in lane, first of all, you will need your E and Q, they are the core spells of your entire kit, first dash onto the nearest minion and get a q off to start stacking your tornado
This link is a good example of a trade it is not the same as my explanation but it works well too.
Combos to use maximizing your damage:
Tornado/E > Tornado Spin > AA > ULT > AA > Q > AA - This is the most basic ulting combo which provides you with maximizing your damage, but there is also another combo which is more advanced but in my opinion the 2nd strongest and hardest technique or combo to pull off, but that will be in the next section.
Always focus on stacking your fervor continously, you'll win trades and Battle Trance will help you trade even better, you can stack fervor up to 6 times in about a second, AA > Q > AA = 6/8 STACKS, that is insanely strong late game, you can build up to about 80 AD Late game which is the same as the AD on a Bloodthirster, your life steal is improved, damage is even stronger and you'll be able to at least 2-3 shot squishy targets.
When you dash in for a trade or a kill, the combo order is E > AA > Q, not E > Q > AA, you will provide the same damage but faster, q can be instantly cast after auto attacks and you cannot auto immediately after Q, so EAQ is more efficient and you can bait out flashes or possibly land your tornado(If you have it), on them, AA > Q > AA > E Is also a good combo which if done perfectly can almost if not halve a squishy's HP.
PARTICLE FIXES
I always use these particle fixes, grab "Wooxy" and click on this link to use these.

Basically back in Season 4 when they had to replace the old map for the new one, Riot were forced to remove Yasuo's particles. (Classic,High Noon and Project) However, these files will actually fix it and replace the particles creating new ones. I always use these particles, as they make me play better.

Some flashy combos, but thank you to /r/Yasuomains/ and Arkadata for all of this, I have learned alot from them and will continue to learn more.
Q > Flash:
An easy trick but has to be done right, you can Flash Q but Q flash is more efficient and faster, this can be done with your tornado or normal Q.
T-Blink (Without Tornado) Ally Knockup > Q > R > Q (If you have enough Attack Speed)
This is a recent trick that me and My friend Kazé picked up, he recently did it accidentally in a Ranked Game, the accidental fail airblade came to what we describe as kind of a new Yasuo mechanic, it is very easy to use and easy to pick up for newcomers of Yasuo, it is literally impossible without a teammate though, it has the same effects as Airblade.
You must wait for the knockup, if you would like R immediately Q behind you, then press R, Ulting immediately positions your R behind them, your Q will be positioned to hit them infront of you because the Q will be casted during your R.

E > Q Flash: Beyblade
I know the name sounds edgy but it's cool
This is Arkadata's Video - Credit to him.
It is extremely useful at times and is definitely optional, it can be used to make extremely cool plays which has a use, your opponents will not have the reflexes to react to this since this is instant, the reason why I put the flash right next to the Q is because you must do it immediately or else it will not work.
Q > E > Q > ULT > Q : Airblade- Arkadata's Video Once again
All of this must be done in 2 seconds, which sounds virtually impossible, but your E kind of resets your Q, if timed perfectly it resets, If your Q CD is 0.5, E immediately, your q will be resetted, that's how this is done, and don't panic, this is an extremely hard trick which you cannot do on your first try, this trick also allows you to have a stacked tornado which is impossible without this trick, Yasuo removes all stacks of gathering storm but with this it does not.
E (on minion)> Q Flash > AA > E > Q > ULT > Q : Keyblade : The hardest Yasuo trick, it's very rewarding, it can be seen here, you could get a few auto attacks off in this trick as well, it has the same effects as Airblade.

Wall Dashes in the Jungle - I recommend going to your settings and turning on Target champions only, set it to a key that you feel comfortable with, I personally put it on my side keys on my mouse
I know this video is quite outdated for Season 7, You can no longer do red buff but that is about it, all of the other camps are still viable to dash through in the jungle :)

Yasuo is very strong early, so if you get a lead at any point you will continue to snowball, and if you are 3 levels ahead and an item ahead of someone you can 1v2 like it's a joke, you win it, and don't continue split pushing if you have such a strong lead, group up mid lane and help your teammates push, they will farm more gold making them stronger too, then you can continue split pushing, once your team wants to contest an objective, group up with them, Yasuo cleans up teamfights quit easily as he can 3 shot squishies in the backline, a very strong and offensive pick.
Yasuo 2v1 early outplay
Perfect Example of what Yasuo can do early game if the enemies underestimate him.

If yasuo loses lane, he loses all, you cannot catchup in a ranked game in high elo as Yasuo, if you lose lane you will lose lane and you will continue feeding, most Yasuo players or newcomers, they usually feed, when they see a godly yasuo destroy them, they start criticizing their team or calling Yasuo a "broken" champion, they try Yasuo themselves, but they feed their assess off and say Yasuo sucks, I right click and don't kill them? Because they can't accept that Yasuo is a hard champion, I once had a Yasuo get some kills early, but then he started feeding hard, very hard. which ended up loisng us the game, he went 2/15 and I couldn't get my yasuo cause he picked first,(this was a ranked game), and yes I know some yasuo mains go 4/20 everygame, because they are cocky, if you become cocky you will feed, Yasuo is very easy to kill, so he always underestimates his opponents, he gets utterly destroyed which usually happens top lane by tanky champions like Renekton, Darius and Irelia those 3 kill me but I don't feed 0/10 as Yasuo vs them, but I dislike that matchup. once yasuo feeds he becomes Useless throughout the entire game, he must get his core items and by then his enemies will have 3 or 4 items and yasuo cannot do anything about it, they will either be too tanky or deal massive amounts of damage unlike you.
Perfect Example of what Yasuo Feed is.
Perfect Example of what Yasuo Feed is.
This is personal experience. You want to shut down Yasuo early. Most Yasuo players commit, alot. You want to abuse this, cause you know he will go in, Yasuo is also quite predictable so you can play something that counters him hard, wins short and extended trades. Also, take exhaust if he counters you, trust me, you won't regret it. Take ignite if you know you're going to beat him. Also, pick high CC junglers/tanks/supports.
