Introduction

Trundle is one of the best junglers currently after the rework.
He's a tanky jungler with lots of CC and very fun to play.

Trundle In The Jungle!

In season 3 I noticed that Trundle seemed and other's have agreed. Although he is not played much if used well he is a excellent ganker and very strong late game! His ganks are very strong if you can position his pillar of filth correctly to block off the enemy. He has a lot of DPS but the downside is that it is only single target DPS. Also his ultimate is very useful for health regen and also it gives the enemy a armor/magic resist debuff while the dot is on the target. Trundle is a very quick jungler and his contaminate allows him to move quickly which is useful for ganks and escaping enemy's, using the pillar of filth correctly to block off enemies chasing you is also a game winner I believe. Trundle can beat the majority of enemy champions 1v1 and I personally in ranked always pick Trundle if the enemy picks Lee Sin because Trundle is Lee Sin's counter (http://www.championselect.net/champ/Lee-Sin) So I try to hinder Lee Sin early game to ensure a win.

Jungling Route



The route I go is = Wolves, Ancient Golem , Wraiths, Lizards (If lanes are pushed after Lizard then I will go gank a lane), If lane isn't pushed I finish with Big Golem and then recall.

Pros / Cons

Pros:
Good damage and survivability
Move-speed
Tanky
Great pusher
Fast Jungler
My personal favourite pro= He is one of the most underplayed champions so some enemies dont know how to fight Trundle which is funny to watch as their running confused in his pillar of filth!

Cons:
He lacks hard cc.
He only has single-target DPS
Pillar of Filth used incorrectly can ruin team fights

Runes

Armor Pen Quints
Useful for Trundle since he does a lot of damage early game and has lots of speed, so with that extra Arm Pen it helps him acquire more damage.


AS RED/Armor Pen/Attack Damage
Best clear speed
Early Armor Pen which is useful
Some extra AD always helps

Armor Yellow
Best to soak up damage early on
Way better then AS yellow

MR/Level Blue
Don't need MR early on
Harder to get MR compared to armor

My Ranked play as Trundle

I went a bit Tanky and quite a bit of damage this game.
As you can see this it says in the bottom left of my computer screen its 4/29/2013. This is before the Trundle buffs and he is still very viable.
