Thanks and personal notes
Deadly Venom
INNATE: Twitch's basic attacks On-hit apply a stack of Deadly Venom for 6 seconds, refreshing on subsequent applications and stacking up to 6 times.

Deadly Venom: For each stack, the target is dealt「 1 / 2 / 3 / 4 / 5 (based on level) (+ 3% AP) true damage per second over the duration, 」for a maximum of「 6 / 12 / 18 / 24 / 30 (based on level) (+ 18% AP) true damage with each tick. 」This effect is considered a poison.

Details
  • The first 5 stacks on a target are indicated each by a small mark around them, while a target affected by the maximum stacks of 6 is indicated by a single large mark above them instead.
  • Deadly Venom does not affect structures.
  • Being applied on-hit, Deadly Venom stacks will still be applied if the attack was parried or blocked, but not if dodged and/or missed if Twitch is blinded.
Ambush
ACTIVE: After a 1-second delay, Twitch becomes camouflaged for a duration. Attacking or casting Venom Cask or Contaminate ends Ambush immediately.

Stealth Duration: 10 / 11 / 12 / 13 / 14 seconds

During this time, Twitch gains 10% bonus movement speed, increased to 30% while facing enemy champions within a 1000-unit radius who cannot see him.

Upon breaking stealth, Twitch gains bonus attack speed for 5 seconds.

Bonus Attack Speed: 40 / 45 / 50 / 55 / 60%

When an enemy champion dies while afflicted with Deadly Venom, Ambush's cooldown is reset.

COST: 40 MANA
COOLDOWN: 16 sec.
CAST TIME: NONE
Detection Radius: 500

Details
  • Entering stealth cancels Twitch's current basic attack.
  • Ambush follows the same rules as stealth but he can still perform actions normally before entering camouflage.
Trick: Activating Recall during the 1-second delay allows him to channel it while stealthed.
  • If Twitch enters stasis during the delay, he will gain the camouflage after the stasis ends.
  • Using a basic attack breaks the stealth at the start of the attack windup.
Venom Cask
ACTIVE: Twitch hurls a cask of venom that explodes at the target location, applying Deadly Venom to enemies hit and granting sight of the area.

COST: 70 MANA
COOLDOWN: 13 / 12 / 11 / 10 / 9 sec.
CAST TIME: 0.25 sec.
TARGET RANGE: 950
SPEED: 1400

Slow: 30 / 35 / 40 / 45 / 50% (+5% per 100% AP)

Details
Contaminate

ACTIVE: Twitch sends out a lethal toxin to each nearby enemy afflicted by Deadly Venom, dealing them physical damage.

Base Physical Damage: 20 / 30 / 40 / 50 / 60

Contaminate deals additional physical damage and 30% AP magic damage for each stack of Deadly Venom on the target.

Physical Damage Per Stack:» 15 / 20 / 25 / 30 / 35 (+ 35% bonus AD)

Minimum Mixed Damage:» 35 / 50 / 65 / 80 / 95 (+ 35% bonus AD) (+ 30% AP)

Maximum Mixed Damage: 110 / 150 / 190 / 230 / 270 (+ 210% bonus AD) (+ 180% AP)

A nearby enemy with Deadly Venom is required to cast this ability. The target does not have to be visible to be targeted by this ability.

COST: 50 / 60 / 70 / 80 / 90 Mana
COOLDOWN: 12 / 11 / 10 / 9 / 8 sec.
CAST TIME: 0.25 sec.
EFFECT RADIUS: 1200

Details
  • Contaminate will deal the additional damage to targets based on the number of Deadly Venom stacks they had at the start of the cast time.
  • Twitch is given a range indicator for Contaminate's radius upon infecting an enemy champion with Deadly Venom (actual range is slightly larger than shown by the indicator).
  • Contaminate will not deal damage to enemies that are not within range of the ability before the cast time completes.
    • If the target moves out of range after the cast time, they are still dealt the damage.
Spray and Pray
ACTIVE: Twitch gains bonus attack damage and 300 bonus attack range for 6 seconds, during which his basic attacks are replaced by bolts that travel slightly further than his attack range in a straight line, dealing damage to every enemy unit hit.

The bolts deal 100% − 60% (based on enemies hit) of the attack's damage, apply on-hit effects at 100% effectiveness, and can critically strike.

COST: 100 MANA
COOLDOWN: 90 sec.
CAST TIME: NONE
TARGET RANGE: Range model Twitch's attack range
RANGE: Range model 1100
WIDTH: Range model 120
SPEED: 5000

Details
  • The extra distance that the bolts travel scales with bonus attack range.
  • Spray and Pray allows Twitch to outrange turrets by 50 units, allowing him to hit them without them returning fire.
  • Twitch targets his line attack at his target's location at the start of his attack windup.
    • The bolts reach targets at a delay, composed of Twitch's windup time and distance the bolt has to travel at finite speed. Even the primary target can dodge the attack if they are moving quickly enough.
  • The bolt projectiles will naturally pass through terrain and enemy structures (the latter will be damaged by bolts even if they are not directly targeted).
  • If Twitch is blinded before winding up the attack, the hits will miss against all targets.
  • Runaan's Hurricane's Wind's Fury interacts with Spray and Pray's bonus attack range but not with the modified missile effect (the secondary bolts will not have pass-through effects).
  • Whenever the bolts penetrate a target, a small elongated cloud appears at the location, which's VFX and SFX can be seen and heard inside the Fog of War.
  • The bolts' travel distance scales with the full value of Twitch's attack range increases such as Rapid Firecannon, but not with size increases (which only increase his effective attack range, thereby the target range).
Pros
+ Strong poke and sustained damage with poison
+ Great AP scaling
+ Invisibility for engages and ganks
+ Good zoning and vision control with W (Venom Cask)
+ Strong if it has a good frontline
+ AP scaling destroys armor builders (Rammus etc..)

Laning Phase:
  • Poison Poke: Twitch's abilities provide strong poke with W (Venom Cask) and passive poison damage.
  • Positioning: Twitch's abilities provide Invisibility (Q) enables sneaky engages or lane repositioning.
  • Pressure: Twitch can apply pressure with zoning and harass from a safe distance.
Late Game:
  • Powerful engage: High burst potential with E ( Contaminate) when stacked with poison.
  • Strong Flanks: Stealth (Q) allows for game-changing flanks and pick potential.
  • Excelent in teamfights: Excellent scaling, dealing massive AoE damage in teamfights with W and E.
Cons
- Squishy and easy to burst
- Weak early game
- Requires good positioning and kiting
- Dependent on landing W
- Roaming can leave ADC vulnerable
- Difficulty escaping outnumbered situations

Laning Phase:
  • So Squishy: Twitch is very squishy, vulnerable to early all-ins and poke.
  • Lack of Sustain: Weak sustain and mana-hungry if abilities are spammed.
  • Hitting with W is important: Reliant on hitting W to maximize damage and utility.
Late Game:
  • Vulnerable to burst: Poor survivability, can be burst down quickly in teamfights.
  • Positioning is Everything!: Positioning is crucial; bad positioning can lead to instant death.
  • Keep a clear head in teamfights: Dependent on getting good poison stacks for E, which can be harder to maintain in chaotic fights.

Flash
Flash provides Twitch with essential mobility and playmaking potential, both in the laning phase and team fights. By using Flash, Twitch can instantly reposition, creating opportunities for offensive or defensive maneuvers that can turn the tide of a skirmish or fight.

During the laning phase, Flash can be used to escape deadly situations, avoiding ganks or disengaging from enemy all-ins. It also allows Twitch to aggressively engage, closing the gap for an unexpected kill or following up on a well-placed W ( Venom Cask) to secure a takedown.

In team fights, Flash becomes a key tool for positioning. Twitch can use it to quickly reposition after using Q ( Ambush), helping him avoid crowd control or burst damage from enemy assassins. Offensively, Flash allows Twitch to surprise enemies with an aggressive engage, combining his invisibility with instant movement to catch opponents off guard and maximize the effectiveness of E ( Contaminate).

The ability to both engage and disengage makes Flash an indispensable summoner spell for Twitch, enhancing his versatility and survivability throughout the game.

Ignite
When playing Twitch with Ignite, you gain a significant offensive boost. This allows for dealing additional damage and securing kills during skirmishes. Ignite also reduces enemy regeneration, putting pressure on their lane.

The use of Ignite increases pressure on opponents, forcing them to be cautious and facilitating kills, especially when combined with your ad carry. Twitch can capitalize on this increased pressure due to her crowd control and damage, giving the team an advantage during fights.

Ignite enhances Twitch's killing potential, especially in the early game, and can make the difference between a guaranteed kill and an escaping enemy. It also pressures the enemy lane, allowing your ad carry to gain more farm or deal damage more freely.

Finally, Ignite is effective against champions with high healing or regeneration, reducing their effectiveness and making kills easier during skirmishes.
Exhaust
Exhaust offers Twitch valuable utility and defensive capabilities during both laning phase and team fights. By casting Exhaust on enemy champions, Twitch can significantly reduce their damage output, making it easier for her and her ADC to survive incoming threats.

During the laning phase, Exhaust can be used defensively to mitigate the damage dealt by aggressive enemy champions or to neutralize potential all-in attempts from the opposing bot lane. This allows Twitch and her ADC to stay safer in lane and potentially turn the tide of skirmishes in their favor.

In team fights, Exhaust can be crucial for protecting key allies, such as the ADC or other carries, from burst damage or assassins diving into the backline. By casting Exhaust on priority targets, Twitch can help peel for her team and disrupt the enemy's offensive capabilities, giving her team a better chance at winning the fight.

Additionally, Exhaust can be used offensively to hinder the effectiveness of high-threat enemy champions, such as assassins or hypercarries, by reducing their damage output and slowing their advance. This can create opportunities for Twitch and her team to capitalize on and secure kills during team fights or skirmishes.
Ghost
Ghost provides Twitch with enhanced mobility and the ability to quickly reposition during both laning phase and team fights. Activating Ghost grants Twitch a significant movement speed boost, allowing her to either engage more effectively or escape dangerous situations.

During the laning phase, Ghost can be used to dodge skill shots or close the gap for aggressive plays when an enemy is out of position. This extra mobility helps Twitch and her ADC secure kills or disengage from unfavorable trades, offering versatility in lane control.

In team fights, Ghost becomes a powerful tool for repositioning. Twitch can use the speed boost to flank the enemy, chase down fleeing opponents, or escape from threats, especially when targeted by assassins or divers. The increased mobility makes it easier for Twitch to maintain a safe distance while applying poison stacks or setting up for a well-timed E ( Contaminate).

Additionally, Ghost synergizes well with Twitch’s Q ( Ambush), allowing him to stay mobile while invisible, enabling more fluid engages or disengages, and offering more dynamic playmaking potential.

Domination
Choosing Hail of Blades as the primary rune for Twitch AP support can greatly enhance his burst potential during trades and skirmishes, particularly in the early game. Hail of Blades synergizes with Twitch's playstyle by allowing him to quickly apply multiple stacks of his passive, Deadly Venom, after engaging with W ( Venom Cask). The rapid attack speed boost enables Twitch to stack poison faster, setting up for a powerful E ( Contaminate) burst, making his short trades extremely effective.

This rune choice is especially valuable when looking to surprise opponents with Q ( Ambush), as the extra attack speed helps capitalize on the initial burst window. In lane, Hail of Blades empowers Twitch to be more aggressive, punishing enemies caught out of position and forcing favorable trades.
Choosing Sudden Impact as a secondary rune for Twitch AP support can significantly boost his burst damage during engagements. Sudden Impact grants bonus true damage after exiting stealth, it perfectly synergizes with Twitch's Q ( Ambush). After becoming invisible and re-entering combat, Twitch can immediately benefit from the true damage bonus, making his engages even more deadly.

This rune amplifies Twitch's early and mid-game potential, allowing him to quickly deal significant damage when he sneaks up on enemies from stealth. Paired with W ( Venom Cask) and E ( Contaminate), the extra true damage from Sudden Impact adds to his burst, helping to shred through opponents more effectively.
Choosing Eyeball Collection as a secondary rune for Twitch AP support provides a strong boost to his scaling damage potential as the game progresses. Each takedown grants Twitch additional adaptive damage, which synergizes well with his need for AP to amplify his burst from abilities like W ( Venom Cask) and E ( Contaminate).

As Twitch accumulates eyeballs throughout the game, his damage output steadily increases, allowing him to become a greater threat in both skirmishes and team fights. The extra adaptive damage enhances his ability to poke enemies down in lane and burst squishier targets when engaging with Q ( Ambush).
Choosing Relentless Hunter as a secondary rune for Twitch AP support grants him valuable out-of-combat movement speed, which enhances his ability to roam and impact other lanes. As Twitch relies on his stealth ability, Q ( Ambush), for positioning and surprise engages, the increased mobility from Relentless Hunter helps him move quickly across the map, set up ganks, and catch enemies off-guard.

The bonus movement speed allows Twitch to more effectively roam from bot lane to mid or invade the enemy jungle, increasing his overall map presence. It also gives him the freedom to reposition more fluidly after poking or harassing in lane, reducing the risk of retaliation.

PRECISION
Choosing Presence of Mind as a secondary rune for Twitch AP support provides him with essential mana sustain, which is crucial for maintaining his ability to poke and engage throughout the laning phase and into team fights. As Twitch frequently uses abilities like W ( Venom Cask) and E ( Contaminate), having the mana regeneration from Presence of Mind allows him to spam his skills without worrying about running out of resources.

Whenever Twitch secures a takedown, Presence of Mind restores a portion of his missing mana, enabling him to stay active and aggressive in fights. This sustain can be particularly beneficial during extended skirmishes or when poking in lane, as it reduces downtime between ability casts.
Choosing Legend: Alacrity as a secondary rune for Twitch AP support significantly boosts his attack speed, enhancing his overall damage output and ability to apply poison stacks quickly. The increased attack speed allows Twitch to more effectively utilize his basic attacks in combination with abilities like W ( Venom Cask), enabling him to poke and trade effectively in lane.

As Twitch secures takedowns, he gains additional stacks of Legend: Alacrity, further amplifying his attack speed throughout the game. This increased speed is especially beneficial in team fights, allowing him to apply multiple stacks of Deadly Venom rapidly, which sets up for a devastating burst with E ( Contaminate).
Choosing Attack Speed as a shard for Twitch AP support boosts his damage output, allowing him to apply more poison stacks and poke effectively with W ( Venom Cask) during trades.

Selecting Adaptive Force enhances his AP damage, increasing the effectiveness of abilities like E ( Contaminate) and improving his burst potential against enemies.

Opting for the Tenacity and Slow Resist shard provides Twitch with added survivability by reducing crowd control durations and slowing effects. This resilience helps him stay mobile after using Q ( Ambush), making him more effective during skirmishes and team fights. Overall, these shard choices enhance Twitch's effectiveness as an AP support.

The itemization for Twitch requires flexibility and adaptability. It's essential to carefully evaluate the game situation and the needs of your team to build a set of items that maximizes Twitch's effectiveness and support on the battlefield.

This is a standard burst build for Twitch: Sorcerer's Shoes provide maximum burst damage when the enemy team is squishy, chaining the passives given by other items to deal even more damage. Celestial Opposition has a passive that reduces incoming champion damage and slows nearby enemies upon losing the Blessed effect. It is very useful for Twitch, as it allows his to move closer when bursting damage, while being protected by the damage reduction from Celestial Opposition. Nashor's Tooth is a core item for Twitch that significantly boosts his on-hit damage and attack speed. It enhances his ability to apply poison stacks rapidly, synergizing well with his kit. The item also provides additional AP, further increasing the damage from E ( Contaminate). Twitch's second power spike is when she builds Shadowflame, which allows his to crit enemies below a certain threshold of HP, this is synergized by the passive in order to crit true damage. It doesn't end here because, when you build Rabadon's Deathcap, increasing your ap by 30%, it adds additional damage on true dmgs critted, allowing you to one-shot slowly the enemy. Finally, since in the late game there are always teamfights to win, the Runaan's Hurricane has a central role because by putting together the Twitch kit with the ap output it receives from the items, it will allow you to win teamfights if you are positioned well.

Celestial Opposition
VS

Zaz'Zak's Realmspike
Choosing Celestial Opposition as a support item for Twitch is highly recommended when facing opponents with significant melee or ranged damage potential. Its passive, "Become Blessed," offers excellent utility in team fights by slowing surrounding enemies once the Blessed effect is lost. This item is particularly beneficial for Twitch, allowing him to execute a full combo in a duel while minimizing incoming damage, as it reduces a percentage of damage for 1-2 seconds. This brief window of reduced damage can be crucial for one-shotting enemies and escaping safely afterward. Zaz'Zak's Realmspike is a powerful item for Twitch when experiencing a hard snowball, as it maximizes his burst damage to secure as many kills as possible. Its passive significantly amplifies Twitch's damage output, allowing him to deal multi-target damage during skirmishes, making it particularly effective for quickly eliminating priority targets and dominating team fights. This item is especially valuable when Twitch is ahead, enabling him to maintain aggressive pressure on the enemy team and efficiently pick off enemies to extend his lead.

However, in the late game, it is often advisable to sell Zaz'Zak's Realmspike in favor of Celestial Opposition. Switching to Celestial Opposition enhances survivability through damage reduction and crowd control utility, which can be crucial during late-game team fights. Importantly, the missions associated with Zaz'Zak's Realmspike remain completed and will not reset when you make the switch, allowing you to adapt your build as the game progresses without losing progress.

Blasting Wand
Blasting Wand is an excellent item choice for Twitch AP support on your first recall. It provides a substantial boost to ability power, enhancing the damage of your abilities, especially W ( Venom Cask) and E ( Contaminate). This increase in AP allows Twitch to poke more effectively and deal significant burst damage during trades. The early investment in Blasting Wand helps establish lane dominance and improves your overall threat level, making it easier to secure kills or force enemy summoner spells. Additionally, it sets a strong foundation for building into core AP items later in the game.
Recurve Bow
Recurve Bow is a strong choice for Twitch AP support, particularly in the early game. It provides a solid boost to attack speed, which enhances Twitch's ability to apply poison stacks more rapidly with his passive, Deadly Venom. The increased attack speed also synergizes well with his abilities, allowing for more frequent basic attacks during trades and skirmishes.

In addition to boosting his on-hit damage, Recurve Bow helps Twitch maintain pressure in lane, making him a more formidable poke champion. It can be especially effective when combined with items that enhance on-hit effects, allowing Twitch to burst down squishy targets quickly.
Fiendish Codex
Fiendish Codex is an excellent item for Twitch AP support, providing a boost to ability power and cooldown reduction. The additional AP enhances the damage of W ( Venom Cask) and E ( Contaminate), making Twitch more effective at poking and bursting enemies.

The cooldown reduction allows Twitch to use his abilities more frequently, increasing his overall damage output and utility in skirmishes and team fights. This is particularly valuable for maintaining pressure in lane and contributing to engages or peel for allies.
Amplifying Tome
Amplifying Tome is a solid choice for Twitch AP support when building towards Nashor's Tooth. This item provides a nice early boost to ability power, enhancing the damage of W ( Venom Cask) and E ( Contaminate), allowing Twitch to poke and trade effectively in lane.

By incorporating Amplifying Tome into your build, you can maximize your burst damage potential and make the most of Nashor's Tooth once it's completed. The additional AP helps you apply poison stacks more efficiently and increases the overall threat level in skirmishes and team fights.

Furthermore, Amplifying Tome is an inexpensive item that allows for an early power spike, enabling Twitch to apply pressure and secure kills as you work toward completing Nashor's Tooth.
Dark Seal
The Dark Seal is a high-risk, high-reward item that is often purchased by Twitch support for its potential to snowball games. It provides 15 Ability Power and 50 Health, and it has a unique passive that grants additional Ability Power for each stack of Glory, with a maximum of 10 stacks. You gain stacks for champion takedowns (kills or assists), making it an item that rewards aggressive play and successful skirmishes. Here's a closer look at the risks and benefits of this item:

Benefits:
  • Cost-Effective Power Spike: At a low cost of 350 gold, the Dark Seal provides an efficient boost in Ability Power and health, making it an attractive early-game item for amplifying Twitch’s damage output.
  • Snowball Potential: The unique passive allows Twitch to increase his Ability Power significantly by gaining stacks. Each kill grants 2 stacks, and each assist grants 1 stack, with a maximum of 10 stacks providing up to 55 Ability Power when fully stacked.
  • Synergy with Mejai's Soulstealer: The Dark Seal builds into Mejai's Soulstealer, an item that can further increase your Ability Power based on stacks. This synergy can lead to explosive damage potential if you manage to maintain and increase your stacks without dying.
Risks:
  • Stack Loss on Death: One of the main risks of building a Dark Seal is losing 5 stacks upon death. This can significantly reduce your Ability Power if you have built up many stacks, making it a risky item to rely on if you are frequently caught out or targeted by the enemy team.
  • Reliance on Aggression: The effectiveness of the Dark Seal heavily depends on your ability to secure kills and assists. If you are unable to participate in takedowns, the item provides relatively low value compared to other Ability Power items.
  • Potential to Snowball Backwards: While the item can help you snowball when ahead, it can also set you back if you are unable to maintain stacks. This makes it crucial to balance aggressive plays with safe positioning, especially in team fights.
Boots
You will buy Boots if you have excess gold which will later allow you to buy more important boots. They are very useful for roaming and returning to lane sooner. Later I will better describe which ones to opt for based on the situations.

Control Ward
Purchasing a Control Ward on the first recall with Twitch in the bot lane can be crucial for maintaining vision control and preventing enemy ganks or roams. If you find yourself pushed back to base earlier than expected, it may indicate that your lane is struggling or that the enemy jungler has been applying pressure. Buying a Control Ward allows you to regain vision in key areas of the map, such as the river or the enemy jungle entrances, helping to prevent further setbacks and allowing you to safely resume laning. Additionally, placing a Control Ward in the river bush or the enemy tri-bush can provide valuable information about the enemy's movements, potentially averting future ganks and enabling your team to make informed decisions.

When playing Twitch support, the choice of boots can significantly impact his performance and effectiveness in different scenarios. Here’s a breakdown of when to build each type of boots:
Sorcerer's Shoes
Sorcerer's Shoes
Mercury's Treads
Mercury's Treads

Nashor's Tooth
Nashor's Tooth is a crucial first item for Twitch AP support due to its unique synergy with his kit. It significantly increases his on-hit damage, which is essential for maximizing the effectiveness of his passive, Deadly Venom. This added damage allows Twitch to burst down squishy targets quickly, making him a formidable threat in the early game.

In addition to enhancing on-hit damage, Nashor's Tooth provides a substantial boost to attack speed. This allows Twitch to apply poison stacks more rapidly, making his trades and skirmishes much more effective. The increased attack speed helps him maintain pressure in lane and capitalize on opportunities to secure kills.

Moreover, the item grants ability power, further enhancing the damage of his abilities, particularly W ( Venom Cask) and E ( Contaminate). This increase in AP makes Twitch more potent in poking enemies and bursting them down during team fights.

Finally, the passive effect of Nashor's Tooth allows for more frequent ability usage, increasing Twitch's overall damage output and utility in skirmishes. This enables him to engage or disengage more effectively, enhancing his impact during crucial moments in the game.

Shadowflame
VS

Rabadon's Deathcap
Shadowflame is an excellent choice as a second item for Twitch AP support, particularly when aiming to enhance burst potential and secure kills on low-health targets. It provides Twitch with a significant boost of 110 Ability Power and 15 Magic Penetration, increasing the damage output of his abilities, especially against enemies with some magic resist.

The unique passive of Shadowflame, which increases magic damage and true damage by 20% against enemies below 40% health, synergizes perfectly with Twitch's playstyle as an ADC-mage support. This allows him to execute low-health targets more effectively, making it easier to secure kills during skirmishes or team fights. The critical strike bonus is particularly valuable for finishing off opponents who may try to escape, enhancing Twitch's kill potential.

Building Shadowflame as a second item instead of Rabadon's Deathcap is often advisable when the enemy team has champions with lower health pools or when you need to maximize burst damage quickly. Shadowflame allows Twitch to capitalize on his ability to poke and burst down enemies while still providing a substantial AP boost. By opting for this item, Twitch can maintain aggressive pressure and effectively contribute to team fights without sacrificing damage output. Overall, Shadowflame is a crucial item that enhances Twitch's effectiveness as an AP support, especially in securing kills and exerting pressure on the enemy team.
Rabadon's Deathcap is a powerful second item choice for Twitch AP support when you want to maximize damage output and enhance burst potential. With 130 Ability Power, it significantly boosts Twitch's ability to deal magic damage, making it a key component in his build.

The unique passive of Rabadon's Deathcap increases your Ability Power by 30%, meaning that all your AP items contribute more to your total damage. This amplification effect is particularly effective in the late game or as a third major item, providing a substantial boost that allows Twitch to execute enemies with even greater efficiency.

Building Rabadon's Deathcap as a second item is ideal when you are already ahead and looking to maximize your damage output in team fights or when finishing off high-value targets. It synergizes well with other AP items, turning Twitch's already high burst damage into a devastating force. This item is especially effective when the enemy team has not heavily invested in magic resistance, allowing you to capitalize on your damage potential.

In situations where the enemy team is building magic resist, it might be more beneficial to prioritize items like Cryptbloom first to ensure you can penetrate their defenses. However, if you’ve already built Cryptbloom and the game is progressing well, switching to Rabadon's Deathcap can offer a significant increase in overall damage output, amplifying your burst potential and making you a more formidable threat in team fights and skirmishes.

Cryptbloom
Cryptbloom is an invaluable item for Twitch AP support, offering a blend of damage, utility, and cooldown reduction, making it a versatile choice in his item build. With a total price of 2850 gold, it provides 60 Ability Power, 30 Magic Penetration, and 15 Ability Haste. These stats enhance Twitch's burst damage and ability to apply pressure on the enemy team while the unique passive adds significant utility in team fights.

The 60 Ability Power boosts Twitch's damage output, while the 30 Magic Penetration ensures that his abilities can effectively cut through enemy magic resistance, amplifying damage against both squishy targets and those with some magic resist. This combination makes Cryptbloom a potent item for maximizing Twitch's damage during mid-game skirmishes and team fights, representing a key power spike in his build.

The 15 Ability Haste is particularly valuable for reducing cooldowns on Twitch's abilities, allowing him to engage and disengage more frequently, maintaining a higher level of pressure throughout fights. This contributes to his ability to execute high-impact combos more often, increasing his threat level to the enemy team.

The unique passive of Cryptbloom creates a healing nova at the location of an enemy champion that you recently damaged and subsequently took down. This nova heals allies for 100 (+25% of Ability Power) and has a 60-second cooldown. This passive adds significant team utility, providing an AoE healing effect that can be crucial in prolonged engagements. The healing can turn the tide in fights by sustaining your team and enabling them to remain in the fray longer, especially when combined with Twitch's burst damage to secure quick takedowns.

Overall, Cryptbloom is a powerful item for Twitch AP support because it combines damage enhancement with valuable utility. The item acts as a strong power spike by boosting his ability to deal magic damage while providing a healing benefit that supports the team. This makes it a highly effective choice when looking to maximize both individual impact and team contribution during the mid-game and early late-game phases.
Void Staff
Void Staff is a powerful item for Twitch AP support that provides 95 Ability Power and 40 Magic Penetration. It becomes essential when facing opponents who build significant magic resistance, such as tanks like Leona, Rell, or Sejuani. This item allows Twitch to cut through high amounts of magic resist, maximizing his damage output against these tanky champions.

However, due to its higher cost of 3000 gold compared to Cryptbloom, and its more specialized use, Void Staff is often built later in the game or as a secondary item. While the increased Magic Penetration is crucial for dealing damage to heavily armored opponents, Void Staff lacks the utility that Cryptbloom offers. Cryptbloom provides not only 60 Ability Power and 30 Magic Penetration but also grants 15 Ability Haste and has a unique passive that heals allies upon takedowns. This healing nova can significantly impact team fights by providing additional sustain, which is especially valuable in extended engagements.

In summary, Void Staff is indispensable for dealing with high magic resist opponents, but its higher cost and lack of utility make it a less frequent choice compared to Cryptbloom. Cryptbloom is often built earlier for its versatility and overall effectiveness in a broader range of situations, especially when you need to contribute to team fights through healing and ability haste. Therefore, prioritize Void Staff when facing opponents who heavily invest in magic resistance, but consider building Cryptbloom first for its utility and damage enhancement in various scenarios.
Runaan's Hurricane
Runaan's Hurricane is an essential final item for Twitch AP support, significantly enhancing his ability to influence teamfights and spread his Deadly Venom. Although it's typically seen as an item for AD champions, it finds a unique place in AP Twitch's build because of its ability to apply Deadly Venom to multiple targets with each basic attack. This interaction is critical for Twitch's damage output, as it allows him to hit several enemies at once, setting up for a massive Contaminate (E) that can deal heavy AoE damage.

The real power of Runaan's Hurricane lies in how it synergizes with Spray and Pray (R). When Twitch activates his ultimate, his auto-attacks gain extended range and can hit multiple enemies from a safe distance. Paired with Runaan's Hurricane’s, each attack now applies poison to three targets instead of just one, dramatically increasing his ability to control fights. This makes Runaan's Hurricane’s particularly valuable in late-game scenarios where spreading Deadly Venom across the entire enemy team can soften them up for follow-up abilities or a devastating Contaminate.

Choosing Runaan's Hurricane’s as the final item ensures that Twitch AP maximizes his utility and damage in teamfights. By this stage, Twitch has likely built significant ability power and magic penetration, making his poison incredibly potent. Runaan's Hurricane’s helps apply that damage to multiple targets simultaneously, allowing him to be a consistent threat throughout extended teamfights. It turns Twitch into a high-damage AoE presence, amplifying his burst potential and enabling him to outplay teams by applying pressure to multiple champions at once.

Runaan's Hurricane is decisive as a final item because it amplifies Twitch's ability to hit multiple enemies with his poison, leading to stronger Contaminate bursts and more impactful teamfights. The item transforms his playstyle from single-target focus to an AoE threat, making him a dangerous champion capable of swinging the tide of late-game fights.
Zhonya's Hourglass
Zhonya's Hourglass is an essential situational item for Twitch AP support, particularly when facing teams with heavy AD (attack damage) compositions or dangerous enemy assassins like Zed, Talon, or Kha'Zix. With 105 Ability Power and 50 Armor, Zhonya's Hourglass not only boosts Twitch's damage output but also provides valuable survivability against physical damage threats.

The core strength of Zhonya's Hourglass lies in its unique active ability, which allows Twitch to enter stasis for 2.5 seconds. During this time, he becomes untargetable and invulnerable, rendering him immune to all damage and crowd control effects. This stasis can be crucial for dodging lethal abilities, such as Zed's Death Mark or Kha'Zix's burst, effectively nullifying their kill potential. By timing the activation of Zhonya's Hourglass correctly, Twitch can outplay enemy assassins and avoid being burst down in critical moments.

Building Zhonya's Hourglass as a situational item is particularly advantageous when the enemy team comprises mostly AD champions or when they have fed AD threats. The 50 Armor helps mitigate incoming physical damage, making it harder for AD champions to eliminate Twitch quickly. This is especially useful in games where the enemy team relies heavily on AD-based champions to carry fights, as it allows Twitch to survive longer and contribute more to skirmishes and teamfights.

Moreover, Zhonya's Hourglass can be a game-changer in team fights. By going into stasis, Twitch can disrupt the enemy team's focus, absorbing key abilities and buying time for his team to reposition or retaliate. This can be particularly effective if Twitch has already engaged and dealt significant damage, as it forces the enemy to either waste cooldowns on his stasis or redirect their attention elsewhere. Using Zhonya's Hourglass strategically in a teamfight can help turn the tide in your favor, providing your team with an opportunity to capitalize on the disruption and secure advantages.

In conclusion, while Zhonya's Hourglass is not always the go-to second item for Twitch AP support, it is an excellent choice in games where you face heavy AD threats or dangerous enemy assassins. Its active ability provides a critical tool for outplaying opponents and surviving dangerous situations, while the additional Armor helps Twitch withstand physical damage. When built in the right circumstances, Zhonya's Hourglass can significantly enhance Twitch's survivability and impact in fights, allowing him to continue being a dominant presence on the battlefield.
Banshee's Veil
Banshee's Veil is a valuable situational item for Twitch AP support when you need to counter heavy AP (ability power) compositions or deal with high amounts of crowd control. It provides 105 Ability Power and 40 Magic Resistance, boosting both Twitch's damage output and survivability against magic damage.

The unique passive of Banshee's Veil grants a spell shield that blocks the next incoming enemy ability, with a cooldown of 30 seconds. This shield can be crucial for protecting Twitch from key crowd control effects or critical abilities that could otherwise prevent him from executing his combos or engaging effectively. The cooldown of the shield is reset if he takes damage from champions, making it essential to time engagements and positioning to maximize the shield's effectiveness.

Building Banshee's Veil is particularly useful in matches where the enemy team has strong AP champions or significant crowd control. It allows Twitch to engage more safely, mitigate incoming damage, and avoid being locked down by crucial enemy abilities. This is especially important when facing champions who can easily burst him down or disrupt his positioning, such as Ahri, Lissandra, or Anivia.

In summary, while Banshee's Veil is not always a core item for Twitch AP support, it becomes an excellent choice in situations where survivability against AP threats and crowd control is critical. The combination of increased Ability Power and the spell shield makes it a strategic addition to enhance Twitch's presence in team fights and improve his ability to maneuver in high-pressure scenarios.
Mejai's Soulstealer
Mejai's Soulstealer is a situational item for Twitch that can be highly effective when you're experiencing a strong snowball and are looking to capitalize on your momentum. Priced at 1600 gold, it provides 20 Ability Power and 100 Health, enhancing your survivability and damage output.

The unique passive of Mejai's Soulstealer allows you to gain 4 stacks for each champion kill and 2 stacks for assists, up to a maximum of 25 stacks. If you reach 10 stacks, you gain an additional 5 Ability Power per stack and 10% bonus movement speed. This makes the item particularly valuable for snowballing scenarios where you are consistently securing kills and assists. The increased damage and movement speed from stacking Mejai’s can significantly boost your effectiveness in skirmishes and teamfights.

However, if you die, you lose 10 stacks, which can set back your progress and reduce the item's benefits. Therefore, Mejai's Soulstealer is best used when you’re ahead and can leverage its snowball potential, maximizing your burst damage and mobility. It’s less reliable in games where the risk of dying is high or if you are not able to build up stacks quickly. In those cases, focusing on more consistent power items like Shadowflame or Cryptbloom might be more prudent.

Talking of wave management, Twitch wields strategic prowess as a support. With her versatile toolkit, she navigates the delicate balance of controlling minion waves to gain advantages for her team. From orchestrating fast pushes to orchestrating freezes, each technique serves a distinct purpose in her quest to secure lane dominance and pave the path to victory.

1. Fast Push
Accelerated lane clearance

When your ADC decides to fast push, your role as Twitch is to help them quickly clear the wave and push it towards the enemy tower. This strategy is useful when you want to reset the wave or create pressure on the enemy tower. Use your abilities to clear minions efficiently and provide protection for your ADC during the push.

2. Slow push
Gradual lane buildup

Slow pushing involves killing enemy minions at a slower pace, allowing your minion wave to build up over time. As Twitch, you can assist your ADC by selectively damaging enemy minions to maintain a slow push. This strategy is effective for building a minion advantage, creating opportunities for turret dives, or setting up for objective control.

3. Freeze
Wave Freezing

Freezing the wave involves maintaining an equilibrium near your tower, denying the enemy ADC access to farm safely. As Twitch, you can assist in freezing the wave by only last-hitting minions and zoning the enemy bot lane duo away from the minion wave. Freezing is advantageous when your team wants to deny the enemy ADC farm or set up for jungle ganks.

Twitch is an adaptable AP support champion known for his crowd control and burst damage potential. His playstyle thrives on engaging enemies and disrupting teamfights, making him effective against both melee and ranged compositions. While he may have a slower early game, his impact becomes significant in the late game, where he can dictate the flow of battles and secure victories through strategic positioning and timely ability usage. With his unique blend of utility and damage, Twitch plays a crucial role in enhancing his team's effectiveness in various scenarios.

In addition to his positioning and engage strategies, mastering kiting is essential for maximizing Twitch's effectiveness in any match. Kiting refers to the technique of dealing consistent damage to enemies while maintaining distance and avoiding threats, particularly crucial for squishy champions like Twitch. This tactic allows Twitch to dish out sustained damage while evading enemy engage attempts or skill shots. Proper kiting ensures you can continue to apply pressure in fights while staying out of harm’s way, making it a vital skill for any Twitch player to master.

To help refine your kiting ability with Twitch, I highly recommend a single, exceptional video resource. In this video, Professor DDang, a Challenger-level ADC from Korea, provides an in-depth and comprehensive guide on mastering kiting, with English subtitles for accessibility. This is by far the best video I’ve found on the subject, offering clear explanations and practical examples of how to balance movement and attack timing for optimal damage output while avoiding enemy threats. If you’re serious about improving your kiting skills, this video is a must-watch and will elevate your gameplay with Twitch to a whole new level.

ENGAGING & TRADING

Early in the game, Twitch as an AP support may not have the burst damage to secure quick trades, but he possesses strong poke and utility with his abilities. His Q, Ambush, allows him to engage or disengage effectively, while his E, Contaminate, can deal substantial damage to multiple targets when combined with auto-attacks. Taking advantage of his passive, Deadly Venom, Twitch can apply consistent damage over time, which is particularly useful for wearing down opponents in lane.

When trading, Twitch players should focus on utilizing Contaminate after applying Deadly Venom stacks to maximize damage output. Engaging from the brush using Ambush can catch enemies off guard and lead to favorable trades, especially if they are isolated from their allies. Pairing his crowd control from Venom Cask with his E can create opportunities for all-ins, particularly if he and his ADC can capitalize on the enemy’s positioning.

As Twitch reaches level 6 and gains access to his ultimate, Spray and Pray, his teamfighting potential dramatically increases. This ability allows him to unleash significant burst damage onto multiple targets, making him a formidable threat in skirmishes. Players should look for opportunities to zone enemies or catch them in choke points where his ultimate can maximize damage output.

Transitioning into the mid-game, Twitch should prioritize roaming with his jungler or assisting his ADC in securing objectives. Utilizing his ambush and damage capabilities, he can help set up picks or secure vision around key areas, ensuring that his team maintains control over the map and objectives. Effective use of Twitch’s abilities can significantly tilt trades and skirmishes in favor of his team.

TEAMFIGHTING & OBJECTIVES

Transitioning into the mid-late game, Twitch's role becomes crucial in teamfights and securing objectives. With his unique blend of invisibility and crowd control, he excels at flanking enemies and surprising opponents with high burst damage. Utilizing his Q, Ambush, Twitch can position himself strategically, enabling him to engage from unexpected angles and catch enemies off guard.

In teamfights, Twitch should prioritize utilizing his E, Contaminate, to deal significant damage to clustered enemies. When combined with the passive from Runaan's Hurricane, Twitch can apply his Deadly Venom stacks to multiple targets, amplifying his damage output and disrupting the enemy team's formation. This synergy allows him to effectively capitalize on his kit while ensuring he remains mobile and elusive.

Moreover, Twitch's ultimate, Spray and Pray, can unleash devastating burst damage, particularly when used after engaging from stealth. His ability to initiate fights and then quickly reposition to avoid danger makes him a formidable presence in skirmishes. By catching high-priority targets with his crowd control and dealing burst damage from a safe distance, Twitch can turn the tide of battles and secure crucial kills for his team.

Additionally, Twitch's invisibility enables him to effectively scout objectives such as Dragon, Rift Herald, and Baron Nashor. By using his stealth to gather information on enemy positions, he can assist his team in securing these objectives or set up ambushes when enemies attempt to contest them. This strategic approach to positioning can provide his team with a significant advantage in both skirmishes and objective fights.

As a playmaker support, Twitch stands as a beacon of strategic influence on the Summoner's Rift. With his ability to initiate and dictate the flow of team engagements, he transcends the traditional role of a support, becoming a pivotal figure in orchestrating macro-level plays. Whether it's leading the charge in coordinated jungle invasions, facilitating mid lane ganks with her crowd control prowess, or spearheading objective control with her disruptive presence, Twitch embodies the essence of a playmaker support. In the hands of a skilled player, his strategic acumen and decisive actions can tilt the scales of battle in favor of his team, securing victories through calculated macro plays and unparalleled map control.
Mid lane ganks
As Twitch, coordinating ganks on the mid lane can be highly effective, especially when accompanied by your jungler. Utilize your crowd control abilities to initiate and lock down enemy mid laners, creating opportunities for kills or summoner spell burns. Communicate with your mid laner and jungler to ensure successful ganks and capitalize on overextended opponents.
Jungle Invasions
Invading the enemy jungle alongside your jungler is a proactive way to establish vision control, deny resources, and apply pressure across the map. With your tankiness and crowd control, Twitch can assist in securing kills or forcing enemy junglers out of their territory. Coordinate with your team to invade when you have lane priority and ensure proper vision coverage to avoid potential counterattacks.
Objective Control
Supporting your team in securing objectives like dragon is crucial for maintaining map control and securing victory. Use your crowd control to zone enemies away from contested areas, providing opportunities for your team to secure objectives safely. Additionally, coordinate with your team to set up vision around key objectives and rotate accordingly to contest or secure them when they spawn.
Map Awareness and Rotation
As a support, maintaining map awareness is paramount. Keep track of enemy movements, objectives timers, and potential gank opportunities to make informed decisions. Rotate efficiently between lanes and objectives to provide assistance where needed, whether it's protecting your ADC during sieges or roaming to assist other lanes in securing kills or objectives.
Baron Control
Having vision around the Baron pit is paramount when it comes to securing this game-changing objective. By placing wards in key areas like the river, enemy jungle entrances, and the Baron pit itself, your team gains essential information about the enemy team's movements. Vision around Baron allows your team to detect enemy attempts at sneaking the Baron, providing an opportunity for a decisive contest or potential pick on unsuspecting opponents. Additionally, vision around Baron can serve as a baiting tool, enticing the enemy into unfavorable fights and creating opportunities for your team to gain the upper hand.
Deep Jungle Wards
Placing deep wards in the enemy jungle can lead to successful picks and rotations. These wards grant your team insights into the enemy jungler's position and roaming patterns. Knowing where the enemy jungler is allows your laners to play more aggressively when the jungler is far away or set up plays when they spot the enemy jungler on the opposite side of the map. Additionally, deep wards in the enemy jungle enable your team to spot enemy rotations, leading to more informed decisions and strategic movements across the map.

In this section, I'll delve into bot lane matchups, focusing on how Twitch support fares against various types of enemy supports. I'll categorize them based on their playstyles: engager-disengagers, peelers, tanks, mages, enchanters, poke mages, poke burst, and playmakers. It's important to note that some supports may fall into multiple categories, and item builds can significantly impact their playstyle. Additionally, the support matchup often holds more weight than the ADC matchup, particularly in higher elos, influencing lane dynamics and overall strategy.
Enchanter Champions

When facing Enchanter champions like Lulu, Soraka, and Sona, Twitch's gameplay dynamic changes significantly. These champions excel at healing and shielding their ADCs, creating a protective barrier that can be challenging to break through. However, Twitch can leverage his crowd control and burst damage to counter these supports effectively.

The key to winning this matchup is to maintain consistent pressure and capitalize on any windows of opportunity when the Enchanters' abilities are on cooldown. Twitch should focus on using his E, Contaminate, to poke and apply his passive Deadly Venom to the enemy ADC, making it easier to chunk their health and limit their ability to trade back effectively. Utilizing the invisibility from his Q, Ambush, allows Twitch to engage unexpectedly, providing opportunities for trades or all-ins when the Enchanter is caught off-guard.

It's essential for Twitch and his ADC to coordinate their engagements and target the Enchanters, as taking them down quickly can significantly reduce the opposing team's sustain in fights. When the Enchanters use their shields or heals, Twitch can exploit the cooldowns and punish them by going aggressive, especially when they are unable to assist their ADC.

Another strategy is to take advantage of Twitch's ultimate, Spray and Pray, which can deal immense damage in teamfights, especially when the Enchanter's defensive abilities are on cooldown. Using stealth to flank during teamfights can help Twitch bypass the protective measures of Enchanters, enabling him to deal significant damage to the enemy backline.
Playmaker Champions

When facing playmaker supports like Pyke, Blitzcrank, Thresh, and Rakan, Twitch must adjust his strategy to navigate their aggressive engage potential. These champions excel at catching opponents out of position and initiating fights, making it essential for Twitch to play cautiously and avoid being caught by their crowd control abilities.

To counter their engage, Twitch should focus on maintaining good positioning and utilizing his invisibility from Ambush to avoid detection and set up for surprise trades. By staying close to the minion wave, he can reduce the likelihood of being hit by skill shots, allowing him to poke safely with Contaminate and apply his passive Deadly Venom to the enemy ADC.

It's crucial for Twitch to capitalize on the playmaker supports' reliance on landing skill shots. If they miss their abilities, Twitch should immediately look to engage or punish them during that window of vulnerability. Coordinating with his ADC during these moments can create opportunities for favorable trades and turn the tide of the lane.

Additionally, effective vision control is paramount. Twitch should work with his ADC to establish vision in key areas, such as river brushes and potential roaming paths. This awareness can help anticipate aggressive plays from the enemy supports and avoid getting caught in unfavorable situations.

Communication with the ADC is vital; discussing cooldowns and potential engages can help Twitch and his lane partner better navigate the matchup. By effectively using his crowd control to peel for his ADC and taking advantage of missed skill shots, Twitch can establish dominance in lane and set up for successful skirmishes as the game progresses. Overall, adapting to the aggressive playstyle of playmaker supports is key to ensuring a successful laning phase and ultimately contributing to the team's success.
Poke-Burst Mage Champions

When facing poke-burst supports like Lux, Karma, Brand, Zyra, and others, Twitch must approach the matchup with caution, as these champions can deal significant damage from a distance and quickly burst down targets. Their long-range harass and burst combo can pressure Twitch and his ADC during the laning phase, making it essential to play carefully.

However, poke-burst champions are often squishy and vulnerable to surprise engages. Twitch can capitalize on their mispositioning or key ability cooldowns by utilizing his Q - Ambush to stealth and reposition for unexpected engages. This allows him to avoid their poke while setting up for favorable trades with his E - Contaminate, applying Deadly Venom stacks to amplify his damage.

Maintaining bush control is crucial for Twitch in this matchup, as it limits the enemy's ability to land skill shots and poke from a safe distance. Vision denial can disrupt the poke-burst champions' ability to harass effectively, giving Twitch and his ADC more room to maneuver in the lane.

In terms of trades, Twitch should look to engage when the enemy poke support has used key abilities like Lux's Q - Light Binding or Brand's W - Pillar of Flame. This opens a window for Twitch to go aggressive with his stealth and surprise damage, especially if his ADC can follow up on the engage.

Coordinating with his ADC is key to ensuring that they avoid unnecessary poke damage while preparing to capitalize on the enemy’s cooldowns. Playing smart, utilizing invisibility, and engaging at the right moments can neutralize the threat posed by poke-burst supports and open up opportunities to secure kills or dominate the lane in the mid-game.
Peeler-Tank Champions

When facing peeler-tank supports like Taric, Tahm Kench, Braum, and similar champions, Twitch must be mindful of their strong defensive abilities and crowd control, which are designed to protect their ADCs and disrupt engages. These champions excel at absorbing damage and peeling for their carries, making it harder to secure kills in the laning phase.

However, peeler-tanks often lack mobility, and Twitch can take advantage of this by using his Q - Ambush to stealth, reposition, and surprise the enemy. His ability to engage unexpectedly or flank from unconventional angles allows him to bypass their frontline and target vulnerable carries directly. Twitch can also poke from a safe distance with W - Venom Cask, applying Deadly Venom stacks for a follow-up E - Contaminate, chipping away at the enemy's health while avoiding direct confrontations.

It's important to play patiently against peeler-tanks, as they have strong defensive cooldowns like Braum's E - Unbreakable or Tahm Kench's W - Devour. Twitch should avoid committing to all-ins while these abilities are available. Instead, he should look for moments when these champions have used their key defensive abilities or are out of position. Once those cooldowns are down, Twitch can engage aggressively, using his stealth and Runaan's Hurricane to spread his venom stacks across multiple targets in teamfights.

Maintaining proper vision control is also critical, as it allows Twitch to set up flanks or surprise engages while denying the enemy vision to prevent them from reacting. With good coordination and patience, Twitch can navigate around peeler-tank supports' defenses, isolate priority targets, and secure key picks or kills for his team, turning the tide of skirmishes and teamfights.

In this section, I'll explore the synergies between Twitch support and various ADCs, focusing on their compatibility and effectiveness in different playstyles. I'll categorize ADCs based on their strengths and playstyles: Snowballing Champions, Long Range Hypercarries, Poke/High Range AD Carries, and Short Range All-In ADCs. It's crucial to understand these dynamics as they heavily influence lane dynamics and overall strategy, often outweighing the significance of the ADC matchup in higher elos.
Snowballing Champions

When paired with snowballing ADCs like Tristana, Draven, Samira, Lucian, and others, Twitch brings a unique playstyle focused on surprise engages, sustained damage through poison, and clever positioning. These ADCs thrive in aggressive, fast-paced matchups, and Twitch's kit complements their ability to secure early leads and capitalize on enemy mistakes.

Twitch can utilize Q - Ambush to stealthily position himself for surprise engages, syncing well with the burst and aggressive playstyle of these ADCs. For instance, Draven or Samira can quickly follow up on Twitch's W - Venom Cask slow and crowd control, setting up kills or forcing enemy summoner spells. Tristana and Lucian also benefit from Twitch's poke and poke-burst style, as they can exploit the slows and poison stacks to jump in or dash aggressively for early trades or kills.

Additionally, Twitch's passive poison stacks from Deadly Venom and the burst from E - Contaminate enhance the aggressive trades these ADCs excel at. His ability to chip away at enemies, even while playing defensively, opens opportunities for coordinated all-ins once enough stacks are applied.

In mid-game and teamfight scenarios, Twitch can further enhance the potential of snowballing ADCs by using Runaan's Hurricane or positioning through stealth flanks. These ADCs thrive on quick engages and fast burst fights, and Twitch can disrupt the enemy team, focusing poison stacks across multiple targets and softening them for their ADC to clean up.

His stealth and utility enable aggressive plays, amplifying the kill pressure and securing objectives in tandem with these ADCs' high burst potential. Communication and timing are crucial for ensuring both Twitch and his ADC can execute aggressive plays without overcommitting, maintaining pressure throughout the game to snowball to victory.
Long Range Hypercarries

When paired with long-range hypercarries like Xayah, Aphelios, Vayne, Kog'Maw, and others, Twitch provides potent synergy through his ability to poke, slow, and surprise the enemy with stealth engages. These ADCs thrive on positioning and sustained damage, especially in the late game, and Twitch's utility and crowd control allow them to safely scale while capitalizing on his surprise burst potential.

Twitch's W - Venom Cask is a valuable tool in these pairings, as the slow can zone enemies or prevent them from diving onto hypercarries like Vayne or Kog'Maw, giving them the necessary space to kite and deal damage from a safe distance. His Q - Ambush enables sneaky roams or unexpected engages, allowing the hypercarry to follow up from a distance while the enemy is disoriented.

For example, with Aphelios or Xayah, Smolder ability to surprise the enemy or engage from a flank can create the perfect opportunity for these ADCs to lay down their immense damage output without being threatened. Similarly, Vayne and Kog'Maw, who rely heavily on peeling and staying at the backline, can benefit from Twitch's ability to slow and poke from afar, creating windows for them to focus on their damage without getting overwhelmed.

In the early game, this pairing might focus on farming safely and playing passively until both Twitch and the hypercarry ADC scale into their mid-game spikes. Twitch's stealth and poke help keep enemies at bay, while his E - Contaminate can punish aggressive missteps by the enemy bot lane. Maintaining vision and playing around Twitch's stealth or the hypercarry’s scaling potential are key.

In the late game, Twitch's crowd control, zone control with W, and positioning through stealth make it easier for hypercarries to shine. The stealth plays or surprise engages can disrupt the enemy backline, allowing hypercarries to deal their damage uninterrupted.

By coordinating engages and utilizing Twitch’s poke and surprise potential, Twitch and his hypercarry ADC can safely scale into the late game, securing objectives and dominating teamfights with superior positioning and sustained damage.
Poke/High Range AD Carries

When paired with poke/high-range ADCs like Miss Fortune, Caitlyn, Ezreal, Varus, and Ashe, Twitch provides excellent synergy through his crowd control and poke damage. These ADCs excel at keeping enemies at a distance, consistently harassing them and whittling down their health, and Twitch complements this playstyle with his ability to slow enemies and set up poke opportunities. His W - Venom Cask not only applies a significant slow but also zones enemies, allowing poke ADCs to land their abilities more easily.

In lane, Twitch and poke ADCs should focus on maintaining constant pressure through poke and zoning, forcing opponents to play passively. His E - Contaminate can further punish enemies when combined with the consistent chip damage from ADCs like Varus or Caitlyn, making trades heavily favorable. Twitch's Q - Ambush also allows for sneaky engages or disengages, helping his ADC reposition or capitalize on missteps from the enemy bot lane.

Against enemy bot lanes, this duo excels at establishing lane control by pushing and zoning enemies with their range advantage. Proper vision control is crucial to avoid ganks, as Twitch and his ADC can easily dominate with poke and chip damage but are vulnerable to all-ins if out of position. By coordinating Twitch's slows and poke with the long-range abilities of his ADC, they can create openings to secure kills or force the enemy out of lane.

In the mid and late game, Twitch and his high-range ADCs can control teamfights by maintaining distance and continually applying poke while Twitch uses his stealth to flank or initiate unexpected engagements. By leveraging poke damage and Twitch's ability to disrupt and slow enemy teams, they can dictate the flow of fights and secure objectives, making them a formidable duo both in lane and in teamfights.
Short Range All-In ADCs

When paired with short-range all-in ADCs like Kai'Sa, Tristana, Xayah, Lucian, Aphelios, Kalista, and Vayne, Twitch brings excellent synergy through his crowd control and sustained damage potential. These ADCs thrive in close-quarters combat, using their burst and mobility to quickly secure kills. Twitch can amplify their engage potential with his W - Venom Cask, applying a slow that helps lock down targets for the ADC to burst, and E - Contaminate to add additional burst damage.

The combination of Twitch's slows and his ADC's quick engage makes trades and all-ins highly dangerous for the enemy bot lane. Twitch can engage fights using his stealth from Q - Ambush, positioning himself perfectly to unleash his poison damage while enabling his ADC to capitalize on the chaos. His ultimate R - Spray and Pray is also highly effective in extended fights, dealing massive AoE damage while his ADC continues to pressure with their burst.

Against enemy bot lanes, Twitch and his short-range all-in ADC should look to trade aggressively, especially when their key abilities and summoners are available. Their burst potential makes them capable of punishing enemy missteps, forcing them out of lane or securing kills. Vision control is essential for this duo, as their aggressive nature can leave them vulnerable to ganks. Denying vision through well-placed wards and Twitch's stealth engages can turn fights in their favor.

In the mid and late game, Twitch and his short-range ADCs can shine in skirmishes and teamfights by taking advantage of Twitch's flanking capabilities. His ability to enter fights unnoticed and apply poison damage across multiple targets sets up his ADC to clean up with their high burst. With proper coordination, Twitch and his all-in ADC can snowball fights, securing objectives and leading their team to victory.
