Introduction

Hello. Today I want to show you my build for Vel'Koz.
Vel'Koz is a very strong but a very slow midlaner so you need a balance
between AP and Movement Speed.
In my build you will see a good combination between the Movement Speed and
the AP especially for his ultimate skill "Life Form Disintegration Ray"
This is my second guide for a champ and I'm sorry for my bad English.
I hope this build guide will help you.
The build of Vel'Koz seems to be really cheap cause the most time I got a full build after
25 minutes.
This build is a very nice combination of resistance, speed, poking and slowing as you can see.

The most important item on Vel'Koz.
You will need it to make the aiming with your ultimate easier and to survive the early game.

This will be very useful in the late game.
Vel'Koz got such a low cooldown ratio that you can always poke with it.

There's nothing to say about it.

Tanks will cry when you attack them with your ultimate!

Every AP champ needs some lifepoints.

Like we wouldn't be already fast enough!
As a alternative you can use Homeguard instead of Alacrity.

If you look at the runes, you'll see that there's a very strong balance between
AP and Magic Resistance.
And this Magic Resistance will be very useful in the early game against champions
like Lux which can spam their skills permanently.
With a Doran's Ring you will start with up to 50 AP and 44 Magic Resistance.

In rankeds you should play Vel'Koz very passive and just farm until you are able to use your
ultimate.
If you can poke your enemies always with a W + E - Combo, so you will stop them from farming cause they will try to attack you as often as possible if you keep poking them with this combo.
First use your W to get two stacks of the passive, then try to slow with Twin Shadows and attack the enemy with your ultimate skill to kill them very easily.
