Introduction
Hello!
I'm Whisky, mostly playing on EUNE server. My current rank is Diamond 3. I never really played karthus, untill season 9. I decided to try him out and I love him! It's really fun to scale and when you are strong enough, just kill everyone with one button. :D
About Karthus
Karthus is very interesting, because his early game is way stronger than people expect it to be. Karthus has strong ganks and with good map awareness you can carry all games.
Pros and cons
Pros:
+You don't even have to be in a fight to carry it :P
+Global ultimate
+Huuge late game damage
+Good ganks thanks to W
Cons:
-Q is hard to hit
-Big R cooldown
-Not very mobile
Abilities
Death Defied (Passive)
Upon dying, Karthus enters a spirit form that allows him to continue casting spells for 7 seconds.
Lay Waste (Q)
Creates a delayed blast at Karthus' cursor position dealing 45/65/85/105/125 (+0.3) magic damage to each nearby enemy.If the blast hits only a single unit it deals double damage.
Wall of Pain (W)
Creates a wall that lasts for 5 seconds. Enemies that pass through the wall have their Magic Resist reduced by 15% and Movement Speed reduced by 40/50/60/70/80% for 5 seconds (their Movement Speed gradually recovers over the duration).Defile (E)
Requiem (R)
After channeling for 3 seconds, Karthus deals magic damage to all enemy champions (regardless of distance).
