Introduction
also, just to mention, yes, this is for TOP LANE. After lots of trial and error, i deffinitely think that yasuo is meant for top lane. most top laners are melee, meaning you can poke them with your Q. literally. and its just a better place to be :3
anyway... ONWARDS!!! >.>
(btw i am a silver player, but idk, because in my opinion, its about the persons skill and ability. it doesnt matter of someone is in bronze or platinum, its how they play)
have fun and i hope this helps :)
now this may be a little different from what you are used to seeing, but i assure you the build works (at least for me ;). one downside to the build is that it is very expensive and takes ages to complete, you very rarely get to full build. it is for this reason that once i have completed the merc treads, trinity and BOTRK, i personally rush an infinity edge, since, otherwise you will only get that huge damage boost at the end of the game. with full build, you should end up with around 3K hp, 100% crit, 200+ armour, about 90 MR and close to 300 AD. if some of you think that there is too much armour, or they have a heavy AP team, just switch the randuins omen with a spirit visage :)
The things that seperate a good yasuo from a bad yasuo, are the uses of his Q, E and his ulti combo with his Q. first of all, you want to be poking the enemy champ whenever he comes to last hit your minions with your Q, or last hitting with it. once you get your knockup with your Q, dont be afraid to use it to keep the enemy's health down. with yasuo, my play style is very aggressive. however this works very well, since i poke my enemy's health down until i reach lvl 6, and knockup with Q, ulti, ignite, Q again and E to minions behind me to escape. use of yasuo's E is the other sticky point. try not to dash straight to an enemy, dash around a few minions first to crank up the damage a little. this is especially important when you have already dashed, and are waiting to dash again. while you are waiting, dash to minions around you, so that your second dash deals max damage. on a side note, i find that having my Q on smartcast for the knockup is very beneficial.
you'll have noticed i havent mentioned the windwall... thats because its use should be obvious, and if, to you, it isnt, you should close the door on the universe on the way out.
