Vlad is a very hard champion to go against if you are playing Tryndamere because of his immense poking potential and his invulnerability.

Introduction

This rune is the best rune for Tryndamere- almost made for Tryndamere. It turns 20% of your damage to true damage. You always want to take this, passive or aggressive lane phase. This will allow you to deal even more damage since if you crit, the damage will be converted to true damage and chunk down enemy champions, even tanks.

Another good rune for Tryndamere. This was go-to rune for Tryndamere before Conquerer, where you deal more damage on your third consecutive auto attack on an enemy champion. This is a great rune for him and still viable because it allows his crits to deal even more damage, and let ally champions to deal more damage to the enemy with the press the attack stacks.

This is a mandatory rune if you are running

This is a good rune for Tryndamere, since it will give you bonus attack speed after a unique takedown. You can either take this, or

This is in the same tree as Alacrity. You can take this rune instead of Alacrity if you think that you already have enough attack speed or just not building attack speed. This gives you bonus life steal.

This is your best friend when fighting - early game, mid game, late game, lane phase, anytime at all. You do bonus damage that are low, which means you can execute enemies faster. You can take this or

Some Tryndamere players take this rune instead of

This is an okay rune. Before Conquerer, if you went against squishy but pokey opponents like

This rune is my go-to domination secondary rune. It gives you life steal. As Tryndamere, since you are heavily auto attack based (unless you are a mage tryndamere main), life steal will be very important to stay alive in fights. Plus, this will allow you to solo baron at full build, or not even full build.

You can take this over Taste of Blood. Whenever you dash, you get a burst of lethality and magic penetration. However, it is not as effective for Tryndamere since you build crit, and not lethality or AP. But if you are going AP, you should take this rune.

You do bonus damage to enemies with impaired movement. If you slow someone with W, you do bonus damage. I would still go Taste of Blood over this rune, but if not, I would go this rune second.

Take this for extra life steal. This is just like

This is the second choice of mine. This shortens your ult cooldown after a takedown.

This is a great rune against bruisers-

Always take this rune as a secondary rune tree (precision, then resolve). This will keep you healthy from bad trades and pokes.

This is the second rune to take if you have

Revitalize is a great rune for Tryndamere, because it makes heals and shields 10% stronger, which means your Q does a lot of healing.
Items. One of the most important thing of a game. This section will show the most important, and sometimes good items to have.
Doran's Blade:
Doran's blade is normally what you would want to buy for normal matchups. You can also buy this item if you want to play aggresive towards your bad match ups that are squishy.
Doran's Shield:
Doran's shield is for those annoyingly poking champs, like Quinn, Teemo, or Vlad.
Zeal:
This is one of the most common first-back items you should buy. It increases your critical strike chance.
Tiamat:
Also a common first-back item you should buy. It allows you to be almost flawless when CSing and helps you melt your enemies.
Berserker's Greaves:
These boots are the most bought/most common in Tryndamere. It is simple, it increases your attack speed.
Ninja Tabi
Also another common boots, gives you armor.
Statikk Shiv:
One of the most important item for Tryndamere. It allows your auto attacks to be charged with electricity.
Infinity Edge:
Since the rework, infinity edge is not as strong as it used to be for crit-based champions, like Tryn and Yasuo. It is still a good item, but not important. It is still a core item, however. So, infinity edge should be your 3rd item, or second (excluding boots).
Quicksilver Sash:
The QSS is very important when going against a matchup with very high CC. In a situation with Teemo, it would be wise to purchase this item to get rid of the blind debuff. The blind debuff causes problems for Tryndamere, because Tryndamere is very AA-dependant. It is also wise to purchase this item when going against a Zoe to remove the sleep debuff.
Blade of the Ruined King
Also a great item on Tryndamere. This not only gets you life steal, but it allows you to chase enemy champions more easily. When chasing, use this combo - W - E - BORK.

Ulting at the right time - If your health is lower than 20%, you should ult. Most starter Tryndamers have difficulty ulting. They usually ult too early, usually when they are 40%. It improves by time, however. So, the only thing I can do to improve that is to tell you to keep practicing.
Cool trick for kill in lane, clutch This one is hard to explain. When you are fighting, and you are equal health with the enemy, and you guys are very low, E AWAY from the enemy, then flash into the enemy, half way into your E. They will not expect it, and if you do it correctly, you can deal damage with your E, then auto, then get a kill. The video below is a clip of popular streamer foggedftw2 using the trick.

E - Flash When you cast your E towards an enemy and your are short by a little distance, you can flash before your E is over to deal your E damage AND get further distance. The video below shows it in effect.

That was it! Tryndamere is a very easy champion to play, but it's a fun champion. My friends always insult me for maining Tryndamere, but I think it's good to destroy people with an easy champ then get destroyed while trying to get good with a hard champ. Anyways, thanks for checking out my guide, this is my first one so sorry if it was bad. Thanks!
Godspeed, Summoner.
