I'd rather see a rework on his W like everyone else but at least they are buffing him back to the way he use to be . So we can't complain :)

I'm not asking for his W to be good, though, just something that isn't useless. I just want a DECENT 3rd skill to throw into my combo(Not including his ult). SOMETHING. ANYTHING. WHYYYYY a useless melee skill on a champion like Kassadin? It's just ****ing ******ed, to be honest.

#1: nerfing Irelia? She sure is strong, but soloing a team as you guys said depends on the player. I'm not the best Irelia player, I cant solo 3 yet.

Nope, you're just bad.
Start with Boots+3pots. Get WotA. Get Merc or Sorc boots. Don't get FoN. Get 4 out of these items (in whatever order fits your situation): Deathcap/Rylai/Lich Bane/Void Staff/Abyssal Scepter/Zhonya's Hourglass/Guardian Angel
Abyssal is to be preferred if you bought Sorc boots.

First two items are right.
You need to build resists at Mordekaiser. Cause they stack with his shield. So if you want to go more tanky, you can also buy Force of Nature/ Sunfire Aegis. The offensive version of these items are Abyssal Mask and Zhonya's Hourglass.
If i would go offensive, I would still buy Negatron Cloak( Abyssal Mask)+ Chain Vest( Zhonya's Hourglass)+ Giant's Belt( Rylai's Crystal Scepter). After that Needlessly Large Rod( Rabadon's Deathcap/ Zhonya's Hourglass). Something like a base setup, because you are still an off-tank. I would also buy Negatron Cloak/ Chain Vest after Hextech Revolver against the enemy's main dmg at top lane, so you become invisible.
If you dominate, you can build Needlessly Large Rod after the 2 items, to tear them apart.
Build anything of these items against your enemys, that way, you become pain.
Don't forget: "Our morde thinks he can carry, I think he is full of s***."

I just got the most awesome idea :D
Make his W apply a self steroid that increases all damage he deals for a short time.
The mana on each hit would remain.
Something like:
- Nether Blade
- (Passive): Kassadin's melee attacks restore 8/11/14/17/20 mana. This effect returns triple the mana against champions.
- (Active): Kassadin's attacks (and spells ofc) become charged, dealing 6%/8%/10%/12%/14% bonus damage for 5 seconds.
- Cost: 25 mana
- Cooldown: 12 seconds
- (Passive): Kassadin's melee attacks restore 8/11/14/17/20 mana. This effect returns triple the mana against champions.
This way he might not need a buff to his AP ratios on Q and E (cuz they're a bit low for a caster).

The one thing he really needs, in my opinion, is for his W to be reworked completely. It's so ****ing useless, other than to grab an extra stack for his E. Other than that, so completely useless.
