I guessed so bout mangafox, but in the end it has the easiest layout to manage my bookmarks (srsly batoto please D:).
And about the All You Need is Kill movie, yeah as the quote out of YT says, I hope it wont become a generic hollywood movie, although it already seems like one...

Oh cmon.. There's a limit to how lazy you can be...
There are other sites beside Batoto too, so you don't have to use it.
But what are you talkin' about with the bookmark layout? How is bookmarking a page on batoto any different from most other sites?
I know some sites use a temporary empty chapter that you can bookmark to check for new chapters easier, but neither Mangafox nor Batoto do that.
EatManga uses that system and it's a site that doesn't compress images nor remove any credit pages. (it does sometimes take watermarked images from other sites tho)
In short, you should stay away from any site that has watermarks on the images. (i.e: their logo somewhere in the picture or text below it like Mangafox)

And so Blizzard sent unto them this Brawl of Yogg, As a lesson for their sins of Pride and Greed, for he is the Prophet of Madness and RNG. On that day, the tavern descended into an era of chaos and darkness, until the weekend passed and everyone forgot all about it. Amen. Book of SMOrc, Verse 20, Chapter 4." - Feam T
What I am talking about is the layout of the mangas you bookmark, if you are actually signed up to the page.
Batoto has a kinda awkward layout for news and is often very slow for me (mostly due to my net dying lol and the pictures on batoto having a way bigger resolution).
But apart from that I do use batoto, but mangafox was just easier to access for me most of the time.

Wait, you actually use on-site tools to keep track of what to read?
.. well, I'd recommend against that simply because of the pain of having to re-do a lot if you switch sites for whatever reason (for example if the site shuts down, that's happened to one I read on).
Just use normal frickin' bookmarks in your browser. Then use the bookmark syncing built into FF/Chrome if you have several devices that you read on (like your PC and your phone/tablet).

Maken-Ki (Battling Venus) - Not the best, but not the worst anime either. Too massive abuse of boobs and constant unnecessary camera views >.>, but other than that it's OK. Problem is: It ended at 12th episode and was announced to be continue 2014 January, but it's February now and still no 13th episode ?
Anyone knows something about the season 2 out-coming date ?

Okay, anybody here read some interesting manga as of late?
Or am I the only one here in general that actually reads non-mainstream manga?

I don't know, why don't you write about it?
Seen my short summaries and recommendations of manga previously? That's what I'd like to see others here do. Like Lifebaka did with anime for a while too.
Also, a quick google search showed me some horrible art..

What I've found recently: American Ghost Jack quite a good read, it is still in the early stages but it seems like a great Manwha.
And big news (if no one posted it yet, I didn't read the past pages):
All You Need Is Kill the Manga (so the LN aswell) are getting a Hollywood adaption!
Here it is: Edge of Tomorrow Trailer 1
Well, first off: BOOOOOOOOOO, SHAME ON YOU. NEVER LINK TO MANGAFOX. Never use it either, for that matter. They spit in the faces of the scanlators who work hard to get high quality manga to the readers.
I'm just gonna direct you to All You Need Is Kill on Batoto. Read the first few pages to get a better picture of what the scanlators think of Mangafox(/Mangahere).
American Ghost Jack doesn't really seem like anything special.. The premise is bleh, the execution caught my interest a bit, but all in all it seems pretty jack bland. (ahue)
All You Need Is Kill seems really interesting tho. The manga project is drawn by Obata Takeshi, the artist behind Death Note and Bakuman(it really shows, lol). I love the gory scenes, they were really well done.
The movie seems to have great potential too, I just hope they don't make it generic and predictable. (I haven't read the source material tho, so I can't say much about how good it was)
