League of Legends (LoL) Question: What is the best way to play against Riven?

I have a lot of experience on Malphite and Renekton so I usually pick those. Renekton has enough early lane power to shut her down (as long as you don't waste cooldowns) and you can build kinda tanky so she doesn't one-shot you later. Malphite you just survive through the first few levels until your first recall and get some armor, then you should be good.

If you play a damage-dealer, you can still win but it'll be tougher since if you misplay or fall behind, she'll gain enough threat on you to start solo-killing you when you walk up to CS. I can't give too much advice about carry top laners since I don't play them much, but just remember that she's really strong when all of her abilities are up, so trying to bait out her shield, stun or some of her dashes before trading is ideal.

riven is one of the most mobile champs u can find on league . she is my main so from a main the best advice are ;
1 max her q first always
2 buy tiamat when u can as fast as u can . will help you scale easily
3 dont q all there together always go q auto ,auto.q cycle continues . if u time this properly ur q will be up in JUST 4 SEC
4 your 3rd q can help you to jump over walls and this requres a LOTTTTT of practice
5 build only ad on her no need of attack speed as with timat and q u can get that attack speed.
6 ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS ( I sound like professor snape) build RAVENOUS HYDRA NOT THE OTHER ONE this is a mistake which even good riven players make.
7 each level up u get an attack boost . utilise it
8 TAKE IGNITE AND FLASH (my summoner ) as a q 0 >e with r >q> w > q > ignite > r can deal a hell of damage to ANY player
9 if u want after getting essense reaver , infinity edge, ravenous hydra,death dance u can get static shiv,and rapid firecanon u would be havin 100 % CRIT AND ABOVE 400 ATTACK DAMAGE
