Hello 
Xerath Players
My name is Michael. I am Xerath OTP-Player in EUW and currently in EUNE.
I have over 2,5 Million mastery Points on Xerath and i peaked 300lp on Master in EUW and currently I am GM in EUNE.
I have also reached Rank 1 Xerath on EUW and EUNE.
I am playing Xerath only as Midlaner. I don´t like playing Xerath as Support.

I usually take the Standard Sorc Runes with Arcane Comet.
Secondary
Here you can choose between Inspiration or Precision.
I prefer these two Runes.

I have also added a extra Page for the Dark Harvest Rune build. Since in Patch S15.03 the rune
got buffed.
I really don´t think it is worth to go for this Dark-Harvest Rune build. It´s quite better in the lategame or when you have enought Stacks. But the price is here the poke in the Laning Phase(Arcane Comet). I prefer a better Laning Phase there.
As mention in the first Sentence Arcane Comet should be the Priority Nr 1 Rune Build.

This is my main Runes for Xerath. It gives you extra poke in your lane phase and i also can secure a lot of kills.(Trust me) Especially when you roam with your r. |

You may ask me, why i don´t prefer
? This Rune is better in laning phase. It gives you extra dmg when Enemy has more than 60%HP. In case the opponent used his heal Pot, you have a better poke in Laning Phase with this rune. Since Xerath is very weak early i prefer this Rune to give him some extra Dmg. I will add some Screenshots and you will see the DMG this Rune. |

I usually build this Item as first. It gives u CDR and Ability Power. One thing to point out there is the Passive of this Item. It reveals the Champions and it gives you extra Dmg. That is sooo good for Xerath. Especially for his

Xerath charges while being Slow icon slowed by 0% − 40% (based on channel time) for up to 3 seconds to increase Arcanopulse's Range icon range over the first 1.5 to 1.75 seconds of the channel. Half of the Mana will be refund if you charge and don´t use. When you recast while chargineg, xerath becomes unable to act for 0,528 seconds and fires a beam. |

Xerath R Spots
Here are some Xerath R Spots for each Side.
Xerath is a good Roamer and also can help when Botlane for example get ganked.
Always keep in mind where your enemy Midlaner is. Otherwhise you aim and get killed :-D.
Note that you will get revealed when you are in your R. Enemies now where you are.

Early Game
Laning Phase should be easy when you don´t have a hard counter Matchup.
Farming is more important than Poking. Try to stack
in Laning Phase and go back when u have 1200 Gold for your first Item

Once you lost the Tower u may be forced to go to the Sidelane(by your Botlane). Try to clear the Waves on your Side of the Map and rotate to mid.
Xerath is no good Sidelaner since he is easy to Kill and immobile.
Teamfights
