Champion Build Guide
Who is Poppy?
Poppy is a warden (defensive tank) class champion, meaning she specializes in countering enemy engage. She is specifically designed to be a counter-pick to dash-reliant carries with her lickdown tools, however she posses a hefty amount of burst damage, allowing her to fill a more aggressive rol akin to a diver.
Pros and cons of Poppy
Pros: Good combination of damage and tankiness
Not mechaniclly challenging
Lane bully with a strong poke pattern
Great tower diver
Increible team fight potential with R
Strong ganks and flanks
Good at shutting down enemy carries
Good at peeling for her carries
Cons:
Reliant on bad enemy positioning
Easy to screw over your team by a bad E or R
Gets outbullied by many juggernauts
Has a hard time vs CC counters
Easily kited
Bad front to bach teamfighter, needs flanks
Not a 1vs9 champ

Demolish or Shield Bash: Bring Demolish when you're sure you can take advantage of it. In the ideal scenario, this rune should help you take down at least 2 plates. If you need the extra resistances for the matchup, just bring Shield Bash
Conditioning: Bring this rune if you are facing a champion that scales, or if the enemy team's damage is only AD or AP.
Second wind: Bring this rune if you are facing an bully champion, a ranged champion or you know that you will be figthing a lot.
