Hi everyone, I'm Pinkcheeze, and this is my Attack-Speed Vayne Guide. I worked hard to make this guide the best Vayne guide out there, and I would appreciate any and all feedback that you guys may provide. Vayne is a fantastic champion, and she is by far the hardest carry in the league - because you can carry your team with true damage, melt tanks, three hit the enemy carry. Without further ado, I present to my beloved readers, my Vayne guide. I put quite a bit of effort into this guide, so I do ask you to reconsider any downvotes pending the actual trial and testing of my guide that I imagine you are planning to do. And above all, thank you for taking the time to read this phenomenal Vayne Guide.

Greater Mark of Attack Damage I run these for early trading purposes, they don't scale into late game amazingly but they help amazingly for having some punch in your attacks early game.
Greater Seal of Armor I run these because they raise the amount of damage you ignore when it comes to basic attacks to 35%.
Greater Glyph of Mana Regeneration To fully understand why running Mana Regen on an ADC like Vayne you first have to try it out and see why it works. Having these mana regen glyphs makes it possible for you as a Vayne player to always have the mana to pull off a clutch Condemn stun, or that one extra Tumble during Final Hour to reposition yourself and confuse the opponent. So all I ask is you test it out for yourself so you can understand the success of running these.
Greater Glyph of Attack Speed Attack speed is what makes Vayne beautiful. The more attack speed the more Silver Bolts procs you can do!
Greater Quintessence of Attack Speed As stated with the attack speed glyphs, these quints make it possible for you to proc as many Silver Bolts as possible.

Barrier is always a really good spell to take, it helps a ton all game. I am not a part of the meta of the ADC taking Heal because someone on your team will take heal, and having two heals in one team fight is useless. Flash is a MUST for any champion. Get used to using this.

Night Hunter: // This ability is what makes running away from Vayne impossible! (Unless you read matchups and know that Miss Fortune passive negates your passive practically.) This ability gets seriously buffed whenever you are in your ultimate, Final Hour

Tumble: // Tumble is a great gap close ability that offers extra attack damage on your next basic attack and while in your ultimate, Final Hour turns you invisible.

You're going to want to max out Tumble after Silver Bolts and before Condemn.

• // Whenever the opposing ADC goes into trade always pop a basic THEN tumble to guarantee that your Silver Bolts proc.
• // Maximizing the use of Tumble during Final Hour is the only way to become a high elo Vayne player.
• // Never engage with Tumble as it is basically your only ensured defensive ability.

Silver Bolts: // Silver Bolts is what makes Vayne ridiculously strong, every third basic attack on the same unit procs the bolts and does a portion of their max health as TRUE DAMAGE, when maxed this ability does 8% of targets MAX HEALTH.

You're going to want to max out Silver Bolts before Tumble and before Condemn.

• // Do not over extend to proc Silver Bolts as it leaves you vulnerable, while trading just get as many basics in as you can while in a safe position, DO NOT ZONE YOURSELF!
• // Always remember what level your Silver Bolts is at, so you will always know the exact amount of true damage it will deal.
• // Don't underestimate this ability, without it Vayne would not be that good, always max this first.

Condemn: // Condemn is a knock back bolt that if landing an enemy against a wall or any champion made structure stuns and deals damage.

You're going to want to max out Condemn after Tumble and after Silver Bolts.

• // Never be the guy that Condemn an enemy away and makes them live instead of die.
• // Always land the Condemn against a wall for the stun, this ensures at least 2 free basics and depending on your attack speed 4 or more basics.
• // Don't use this to secure kills as it does little damage and is not very effective unless landing a stun.

Final Hour: // Final Hour is your ULTIMATE, to summarize this ability, it gives you Bonus attack damage, the movement speed from Night Hunter is tripled, and every time you Tumble you become invisible for 1 second.

You're going to want to max out Final Hour before Silver Bolts, before Tumble, and before Condemn.

• // Always use the full time of invisibility during Final Hour to re position your self on the opposite side of enemy to confuse the enemy.
• // Do not doubt your chasing potential with the tripled movement speed buff but do not over extend too far.
• // I love to Final Hour, Tumble, Flash, then Condemn into a wall to ensure a easy kill.

8/10 Nami's Synergy There are many reasons why Nami synergies with Vayne, to start off with she makes an excellent poking support and allows you to stay sustained in lane without a lifesteal item, for example, when I play with a Nami I always Tumble to a safe spot where I can basic attack the enemy ADC or support and when I perform that Tumble Nami uses her Ebb and Flow to ensure that I lose no health on the poke and the target takes damage through Nami's Ebb and Flow. Another reason for this strong synergy is the fact that Tidecaller's Blessing essentially gives you 3 basics attack with increased damage and a slow which makes your passive Night Hunter much more powerful, now from the rest of my guide you will know that Silver Bolts procs off of 3 basic attacks, due to this when you proc your Silver Bolts it will more damage then it would otherwise. Nami's Aqua Prison allows you to re-position yourself very quickly to get in a position where you can land a Condemn onto the target into a structure for even more poke time. Nami's passive Surging Tides makes chasing even more effective due to the fact that you get more movement speed every time she targets you with a spell, adding this to your Night Hunter just makes it impossible to get away from a vayne.

9/10 Nunu's Synergy Nunu in my opinion is an excellent support for many reasons, so lets go over why! Nunu first of all is very good to have in lane because he can harass for a very long time and not lose much health because of his Consume which literally just makes him great to play with, Blood Boil is simply one of the greatest spells to support Vayne with! It just gives you a ton of attack speed which makes you proc even more Silver Bolts! Now his Ice Blast is what makes him a power house. Most Nunu & Willump's max this ability first and by the time the effect has worn off he can cast another Ice Blast! The fact of why this is great is because it is essentially a perma-slow which makes it impossible to run away from Vayne because of Night Hunter

7/10 Thresh's Synergy Okay, so in my opinion I'm just not a fan of the Thresh & Vayne combo for some simple reasons. 1. Vayne is not designed to have an agressive early game, and that is what Thresh is all about. I guess Death Sentence is nice so you can reposition yourself for a Condemn. Dark Passage makes for an easy get-away but other than that i don't think he can support that well with Vayne, Thresh just doesn't fit Vayne's play style in the fact that Vayne wants to farm till she has Final Hour before she engages.

7/10 Zilean's Synergy To be honest Zilean isn't actually that bad, it's the fact that in solo queue if someone goes Zilean they probably don't know how to play him. But onto the synergies, Zilean's passive, Heightened Learning is very nice for Vayne because the faster she gets Final Hour the faster she can have a kill, so that happens to be very nice. Zilean's Time Bomb is a decent poke that can keep them from going for you and has a decent burst, all in all a decent ability but not really a quote on quote support ability. Zilean's Rewind can be very nice for the fact that he can use it so he can use another Time Bomb or to use a second cast of Time Warp. Zilean's Time Warp can be extremely effective in lane as it can either make you go super fast. (for chasing almost makes it impossible for them to get away due to Night Hunter), it can also be used to slow an enemy which also works very well with Night Hunter. Zilean's ultimate, Chronoshift is very powerful as long as you get kills. To offer some light on why, if you are at late game with full build Vayne in a team fight can just about 9 hit anyone on the team. Now if you're getting focused because you're fed, Chronoshift can be amazing because it gives you another shot at getting the kill or making a play.

4/10 Blitzcrank's Synergy To be honest I am REALLY not fond of Blitzcrank being a support at all, he goes against the very nature of the ADC role because his whole play style is up close and personal, in high elo Vayne play to win a lane you CANNOT play close range with because you will lose every single poke, but anyways onto the ability analysis. Blitzcrank's Mana Barrier to be honest is terrible early game and early game is what decides the fate of Vayne. Blitzcrank's Rocket Grab in low elo play can be effective because in low elo, ADC's and Supports very often do not know how to position themselves. Blitzcrank's Overdrive in early game play I find useless, Blitzcrank mains may say otherwise but that is my belief, because any Blitzcrank can be beaten with positioning. Blitzcrank's Power Fist is a knock up basic attack which I do believe is somewhat useful considering knock ups are an all around good thing, but I find Nami's Aqua Prison to be much better simply because they stay in the air for a long time, enough time for Vayne to land a Condemn into a wall whereas Blitzcrank's Power Fist does not. Blitzcrank's ultimate, Static Field is nice in the aspect of the silence, against champions like Ezreal a Blitzcrank pick may actually be worth it simply because Ezreal relies on abilities for team fights, so for any casting oriented ADC Blitzcrank is not a terrible pick.

Q: Is Heal a viable option over barier?

// Okay so in my opinion it is always based on who is on the enemy team. If they have a Veigar or Zed or any bursty champion I would take Barrier, when against champions that are not as bursty I would recommend Heal.

Q: When is Vayne a good pick?

// Vayne in my opinion is almost always a good pick, I would avoid picking Vayne though if the enemy team has a Draven, Warwick, or some other heavy CC champion that will just lock you down and destroy you.

Q: Should I ever max Tumble before Silver Bolts

// Actually this may surprise you but maxing Tumble first is definitely the best option for when against Draven, otherwise I would not suggest it.
