Hello fellow summoners

My name is electric jesus and I am currently Gold 2 - yes I know it is not the highest division but please keep reading and just try my guide for a few games. I am playing LoL since a very long time. I started playing League in Season 1. Well, I do not have a main position, but I recently started playing Sona and really enjoying to destroy the enemy lane with her. In my opinion she is the best support ever. "Why?" you ask ?

Simple:

- She destroys the enemy ADC with her constant harrass.
- She can protect her own ADC with constant healing and shielding.
- Her ultimate is the perfect engage or disengage tool.
- And finally:

SHE IS DAMN FUN TO PLAY :D


And please keep in mind that this is my first guide ever, so I am not used to this kind of stuff ^^.

Flash - obvious.

Ignite - After Exhaust got nerfed, I pretty much take Ignite every game.

Exhaust - If the enemy team is very burst- and assassin heavy - I tend to pick Exhaust. (Or when your ADC starts crying and begs you to pick Exhaust ;) )

PROS:

+Harrassment
+Healing + Shielding
+Can rush Ardent Censer
+Great Engager/Disengager once LVL 6



CONS:

-Squishy
-If you are going to engage, the chances you will die are kinda high
-Starting to get really strong in Mid-Game

Oh, what do I have to tell you about my runes ?

I tried a lot of different combinations and I figured that this runes provide the best solution for my adviced gameplay style. You want to deal constant damage in the laning phase and need penetration and mana reg. for that. The scaling mana reg. is so that you will have enough mana to spam abilities in mid game, til you buy Chalice of Harmony. And the scaling Health glyphs are for that itzy-bitzy little health needed to survive some confrontations. For example I was able to kill a Cassio who tried to push bot in 1v1. And that happened more often than you would believe - Sona can be strong 1v1, but you need to know her limits.

So, I really hope you try my build and have fun playing Sona. She is really fun to play and is a nightmare for the enemie ADC and support. Just make sure to ban Lulu. In mid game its Sona´s time to shine, as she can easily set up teamfights or disengage any attempts your enemies make.

Just for your information, I was able to win a lot of games - would say like 80% of the games played.
