Abilities
Q = Dredge Line -> this ability is similar to thresh and blitzcrank's pull, but it has some key differences. it pulls you and your enemy together automatically if you hit an enemy, but if you hit terrain (turret or wall) you will be pulled towards it and the cooldown is reduced. this is a great ability for initiating and escaping.
W = Titan's Wrath -> this ability gives nautilus a shield based on his maximum health which is great since we are building him as a tank. Also while the shield persists, his basic attacks do over-time damage to units around his target.
E = Riptide -> Nautilus causes 3 explosions that move away from him in a circle. these do damage and slow enemies in the area. enemies can also be hit by more than one explosion.
R = Depth Charge -> targeted ability that damages and knocks up the enemy champion. while it travels to its target, it will knock up and damage enemy champions it passes through great ability for both ganks and team fights.
as you can see, nautilus is filled to the brim with Crowd control (cc). it is very easy to chain all of these abilities together, which is frustrating to enemies.
The route i like to take is fairly simple. Typically i will clear my entire jungle along with both scuttle crabs before i back. Depending on how my mid lane is doing, i may gank mid, but only after level 3.
The route always starts closest to bot lane. (when clearing spanm your E Riptide and W Titan's Wrath, don't use Q Dredge Line often as it will waste mana, and you are mana hungry until righteous glory is complete)
When you are on red buff side: krugs -> red buff -> scuttle by dragon -> raptors -> (lvl 3)(check mid lane) -> scuttle by baron -> gromp -> Blue buff -> wolves -> at this point you can back, try to gank, or go clear more camps.

So here is where nautilus is different for me then other Junglers. i don't spend a lot of time farming as nautilus. most of my time is spent wandering to the lanes and applying constant pressure. i really only go into the jungle for red/blue buff, or if my lanes are pushed in. aside from that, constantly gank, and apply a ton of lane pressure. this is also why i take Mobility Boots on nautilus instead of other boots like Mercury's Treads etc...
Also i like to buy 2x Health Potion and 2x Mana Potion when i back for some extra sustain out in the jungle. this is only necessary until you finish righteous glory. also don't forget to put out Vision Wards as they are destroyed. and don't forget to by Sweeping Lens trinket and upgrade it at level 9

there are 2 main ways to gank as nautilus:
1) the first way is the way that i prefer. You wait for the lane to push. then come from behind the enemy laner and use your E which slows the enemy, activate W (for increased damage and shield) then land a basic attack in order to immobilize them. at this point they may have burned flash and tried to escape. Now is when you use Q to pull them and land another basic attack. if there still not dead, You can use your E again, and your R Depth Charge if necessary.
2) the second way would be to engage with your Q. after landing the Q, use W and E and land a basic to immobile the enemy. if they flash or use an escape, you still have your R and chilling smite.

You act as a standard front line. you can use Turbo Chemtank to initiate the fight along with your Q and make sure to spam your E as much as possible. keep your shield when you can to get the extra damage and tank. Use your Q to exit the fight, or to bring a fleeing enemy back in. Q can also be used on enemies like katarina who have abilities that are channeled, or to peel an enemy off of your carries. lastly Use your ultimate to knock up as many enemies as possible. this is usually done by targeting them while they are tightly grouped, or by targeting someone on their back line.
