Introduction
Hi everyone, my name is LooksLikeVespa and im playing on EUW.
I am a 17 year old girl living in Germany.
I play since October 2013 and recently reached Gold 5.
This is my first guide on Mobafire and i want to present you today my favourite botlane champion, Quinn.
I enjoy maining Quinn and i think she is a fantastic champion. I've been playing Quinn in recently all lanes on Summoners Rift since i was level 26 and got a few pentakills with her. Quinn is knows as a really hard to learn champion, but if you're able to master her skills, cooldowns and damage, she is pretty much overpowered.

Flash
Safes your *** (most of the times). ALWAYS take flash. No excuse. |
Heal
Heals your champion and an ally I highly prefer to take heal as the the 2nd summoner spell. It gives you a movement speed buff. You can use this buff to flee from your enemies or to chase a fleeing enemy. Also you can safe an ally from the death, for example your support. |
Barrier
Gives you a small shield Barrier is also usefull. If youre under attack it can safe your godamn life. Also you can use it for baits against other adc with nearly the same HP. For example go here. |
Ignite
Burns your enemy I would'nt take Ignite as ADC. Only recommended if you want to play Quinn as Mid/Top laner. |
(Passive)Harrier |
Harrier is Quinns's passive. It's one of the sources for her unexpected burst. Valor leaves a mark on an enemy and for the next 4.5 seconds, with your next autoattack you can deal bonus damage on the marked target.
If you hit a marked enemy with a basic attack you deal bonus damage dependent on your Attack Damage and Level. Valor prioritizes the last enemy you hit. Otherwise he marks a
nearby low HP champion or minion.
Tipps&Tricks
Important: Quinn shares CD with Valor!
Blinding Assault |
Physical Damage: 70 / 110 / 150 / 190 / 230 (+0.65 Bonus Attack Damage) (+0.5 Ability Power)
Range=1025
Blinding Assault is Quinn's spread and butter. It is a skillshot, dealing damage to the first target it hits and blinds them for 1.5 seconds in this area. This Ability makes Quinn shine in dueling the enemy AD champs. Pop the blind right after you jump in the fight to make
During laningphase you can use this ability to farm and harass from a distance.
Your Q is your main source poke and burst through the game and brings great AoE as Quinn and as Valor.
Tipps&Tricks
Heightened Senses |
Passive Attack Speed: 20 / 25 / 30 / 35 / 40%
Range=2100
Heightened Senses reveals a large area nearby for 2 seconds (does not reveal stealthed units). You can use your W to give vision when you are chasing enemies. The bonus move speed is from proccing Harrier can not be ignored. At rank 5 you gain 60 move speed, which is incredibly high. Equally the bonus attack speed in ranged form is useful when dueling and splitting.
Tipps&Tricks
Vault |
Cooldown: 12 / 11 / 10 / 9 / 8 seconds
Physical Damage: 40 / 70 / 100 / 130 / 160 (+0.2 Bonus Attack Damage)
Range=700
When Quinn uses Vault, she dashes to an enemy, dealing physical damage, slowing the target's Movement Speed by 50%. You will land 525 units away from your target. It is a really usefull ability to chase chamions. As Valor will performs the same attack but it wont mark the target. While Tag Team you wont jump back, you will stay at you AA range. Your E itself deals at all ranks of the game relatively low damage.
Tipps&Tricks
Tag Team | Tag Team |
Minimum Physical Damage: 120 / 170 / 220 (+0.5 Bonus Attack Damage)
Maximum Phyiscal Damage: 240 / 340 / 440 (+1.0 Bonus Attack Damage)
Range=700
Tag Team turns you into Valor for 20 seconds and changes you from ranged into melee. The out of combat move speed is 80%/90%/100% and levels 6/11/16. It wont reset your cooldowns when you activate it.
Second Cast: It will trigger a rain of deadly arrows that deal damage base don your enemies missing health.
Tipps&Tricks
First you all know how the early game goes on an ADC.
Focus on farming. A Quinn without farm AND kills wont be usefull for your team. If you're unable to easily get champion kills or even assists during a gank, then you need to farm, farm, farm.
You should start with your E. This will give you the possibility to double proc your passive to bring a nice early game damage to lane. The basic way the lane should work is with the great harass Quinn got (Harrier>Vault>Blind Combo). With a good Support your early game should be pretty easy.
DONT spam your Vault in early game. Because if your're ganked by any jungler or engaged by the enemy Support/ADC, you wont have the cooldown or mana to escape safely.
Mid Game is where Quinn shines.
But remember: Go on with farming! Farm > Kills !
You have a lot of Split Push pressure at this stage. In a perfect world, you should have pushed enemy's tower. If you push a lane someone will come to defend it and die (if you wait for long enough in a bush), if not you can simply continue to split and catch someone on the rotation to defend OR Ulti to join a teamfight mid game.
You have the highest assasination potential because of your Ultimate Tag Team. Now Roam! Now you have different options:
1.) You can help push mid lane
2.) Once mid is taken, take top if it's needed
3.) Push to the enemy base
Also in mid game you should be aware of saving your Vault (E) to chase enememies over a wall (also in Valor 'form').
'Quinn is strong in early game but falls off in the mid and late game.'
THIS IS NOT TRUE!
Your burst and combo is enough to destroy the enemy ADC, highly because of your blind.
Here is where you seperate the good Quinn players from the bad Quinn players.
Your main job in late game is to catch the enemy's Mage or ADC.
If your Team is loosing, keep in mind you're a great splitpusher. Keep the lanes pushed enough to keep it safe. Try to get inhib's (when they are open) to maybe allow a comeback.
Play safe. Play smart.
