Champion Build Guide

Introduction

Hey, I'm Frost and this guide is about my !
I'm an Anivia Main but Zed is one of my favourite Champions!
In this guide I'm gonna show you how to play him to climb easily in SoloQ!

Zed is a classic assasin champion. He's super good in taking the priority target out of the teamfight but loses has to play safe once his is on cd.
His laning phase isnt that bad and relatively easy because you got energy and no mana. He can snowball super easy and is super fun to play once ahead.
Theres no better feeling then to 100 - 0 anyone you want and doing the same thing 30sec later again when your ulti is up

Runes

: wants to oneshot/burst the enemy champion and helps him with that. Also is a nice poke tool in lane.

: Grants you lethality once you are using or which is perfect once youre trying to all in.

: Good for vision. Also grants you the highest AD out of the 3 options once stacked.

: Lowers cooldown on which is super important. Makes you able to take out priority targets more often.

: Gives you more maximum energy, which is super nice for combos later on. Also restores 20% of your energy on a kill, which might help you escape after the kill or follow up with another kill.

: Perfect for once you find low health people.

Pro / Con

Pros:
+good waveclear
+great splitpush
+nice mobility
+snowballs fast
+able to 1v1 nearly everyone

Cons:
-hard to execute against cc comps
-is bad if behind
-hard to master
-risky to jump 1v5 into enemy backline to burst their carry
-Zhonyas is hardcounter

Combos / Tricks

Lane Poke
W > E > Q

What you can always do in lane is throw your Q at the enemy. For your full poke combo you start with your W , try to hit your E on him instantly.
Now he is slowed and you can hit your Q on him. Try to hit both Q's on him for maximum damage.

All in 1
W > R > E > Autoattack > Q

Basic all in combo. You can always swap up the combo but this is the most simple one.
Start by using W to get into the enemys range. Follow up with your R and start dealing damage with your E , your Q and as many auto attacks as possible.
Try to proc and damage as much as possible until your pops.
You can usually stop and jump back to your ulti shadow once the shuriken appears on them, which marks that they will die.
Keep in your mind that people can or the R pop damage tho.

All in 2
R > W > E > Autoattack > Q

This Combo is usually the max damage combo if you manage to hit all 3 of your .
You start this combo off by using your ulti . This means you have to either be in range for it or for it, which is often not worth tho.
Follow up with a to position for your E and your . In the best scenario you hit everyone and he is almost guarenteed to be dead.

Playstyle

IN LANE

Try to farm minions safe against range champions. You can always use your as last hitting or poke tool.
Against meelee champions you can play more aggresive and go for some early trades.
At lvl 3 you can go for basic poke combos, which means using W aggresively and using your E and Q for damage.
If you land some of those combos you can go for an early all in.
Besides that farm up and if you snowball try to zone your laner as good as u can.

At lvl 6 you can almost always look for a 1v1. Either try to catch your lane opponent offguard or invade the enemy jgl for some nice kills.

OUT OF LANE

Try to roam as much as possible. Your main spot to be is the sidelane tho.
Splitting works super well if youre even or ahead, since you can 1v1 almost everyone in the game (Be careful once your is on cooldown tho!)
This needs some coordination with your team and good vision, so keep that in mind!

Try to catch people who are solo and use your strenghts. In teamfights try to assasinate the major carry in the enemy team by jumping into the backline and hitting him with your full combo. Try to escape with your shadow once he is going to die.

IN GENERAL

Play safe early but try to go for good trades!
Try to allin the enemy at lvl 6 or catch their jgl!
Go sidelane to farm up and get even stronger!
Assasinate as many people as you can roaming solo on the map!
Always go for the major carry in teamfights, but choose your opening wisely!
