Hey everyone and welcome to my 2nd guide here on MobaFire, on Rengar. I had another Rengar guide up that was in 2nd place for a few weeks after Rengar was released, but sadly i got troll voted by the 3rd, 4th, and 5th, place build authors,and my build was in around last placed.All oh that aside, In this guide I will show you some awesome tips that will help you dominate Top Lane and Jungle. With this in mind, Lets get started!

Rengar is an excellent choice in almost all cenarios. He fits in perfectly with teams which have alot of CC. For example, Nunu & Willump, Sejuani, Ashe, and Taric all do well with Rengar. Why? CC. Rengar is a champion who can jump onto and lock down an enemy champion with ease. If that champion were to already be stunned or slowed, his job is a hell of a lot easier. Choose Rengar especually when they have squishy champions like a bunch of carries. This dream team would be a playground for Rengar. So overall,he counters carries hard, and can escape from, or save sticky situations. And he is a lion.

It was a disturbing, alien thing, distinctly out of place in his world. It bore huge scything claws and devoured any animal that strayed across its path. Overzealous at the prospect of a challenge, Rengar ambushed the monster in haste. It far outclassed anything he'd hunted before. Their fight was savage, and each suffered crippling wounds. Rengar lost an eye, but the most grievous blow was to his pride. He had never before failed to make the kill. Worse yet, the severity of his injuries forced him to retreat. Over the following days, he hovered on the threshold between life and death. He was wracked with pain, but beneath it, he felt a glimmer of joy. The hunt was on. If such powerful beings existed in the world, he would find them, and stack their heads high. The monster, however, was a kill he wanted to savor. On his den's largest wall, he reserves a space for the beast's head, a trophy he swears will one day be the centerpiece of his collection."

PROS Great at 1v1 Battle Roar provides AMAZING lane sustain. Top lane is almost uncounterable Ultimate for assassinating, or escaping Good CC with Bola Strike Damage Output is Awesome with Savagery Killing enemies is much more rewarding with Bonetooth Necklace Very hard to escape him.

Summoner' Wrath: Take this for the base damage increase while ignite is off cooldown.

Fury: Increased attack speed is good on Rengar. Get 3 points in this.

Deadliness: AD per level will be great when you get level 4 and your 2nd point in Savagery

Destruction: Rengar is great for taking towers out, especually with a Ferocious Savagery.

Havoc: 2% more damage, why wouldn't you take this?

---

Weapon Expertise: My favorite mastery, 8% armorpen in a mastery is something you can't afford to miss out on.

Lethality: 5% crit strike combined with your attack speed proc due to Savagery just melts down squishies.

---

Brute Force: Base 3 AD, what's wrong with that?

---

Sunder: 6 Armorpen will melt people early game.

---

Executioner: Rengar can kill someone easily even if he is low hp, this helps with that.

---

Durability: 6 hp per level, can help if you are low and live with that extra 6 hp!

---

Hardiness: Armor is essential for top laning.

---

Resistance: Magic Resist for that fed mid lane.

---

Relentless: Lessslows for when you are ganked or chasing.

RUNES:

Take this for more AD.

Take this for Armor against champs like Irelia.

Take this for Magic Resistfor chopping down champs like Akali.

Greater Quintessence of Armor Penetration Take this to chop down tanks like Shen or Garen.

Unseen Predator: Rengar's passive, while in brush or invisible, his next basic attack will make him leap to target location. Use this to escape, or catch fleeing enemies.

Savagery: Rengar's next attack will deal 30/60/90/120/150 bonus Attack Damage and will grant him 30%/35%/40%/45%/50% bonus attack speed for 4 seconds.
FEROCIOUS SAVAGERY: Adds Rengar's attack damage as bonus damage and attack speed bonus to 60%/70%/80%/90%/100%.

Battle Roar: Does magic damage of 50/80/110/140/170 {+80% of ability power) and gaining 15/22/29/36/43 Magic Resist and Armor for 3 seconds.
FEROCIOUS BATTLE ROAR: Rengar Gains 40 + 20 X Level, hp.

Bola Strike: Rengar deal 60/105/150/195/240 (+0.7 per attack damage) and slows the target 50%/55%/60%/65%/70% for 2.5 seconds.
FEROCIOUS BOLA STRIKE: Rengar stuns the target for 1 second, then applies the full slow after 1 second, which decays up to 1.5 seconds.

Thrill of the Hunt: Rengar goes invisible after 1 second, which can be delayed up to 3 seconds if being hit, and reveals all enemies within 2000/3000/4000 range. He also gains 20%/25%/30% extra move speed in this duration. Lasts 7 seconds or ends when attacking a target. Rengar also RAPIDLY generates ferocity points.

Ideal Top Lane Spells:

: Taking down champions.

: For very easy kills, plus the ability to stick to the enemy.

: Take this instead of Exhaust if you want extra movespeed.

: Essential for escapes or closing the gap to secure a kill.
Jungling Spells:

: Ghost plus Thrill of the Hunt Provide enough movement speed to almost guarantee a kill on your ganks.

: If you prefer distorting the enemy over buffing yourself with Ghost then take Exhaust to provide the enemy with almost no escapes.

: Essential for all junglers.

X 5: Take this up top or Heavy AD Champs like Riven or Xin Zhao.

: Take this against AP champs going top like Akali or Cho'Gath. Remind them why AP champs should stay on Mid.

[icon=Null Magic Mantle size=50: Take this against the more damage AP champs like Elise. 2 Potions along with this should be pretty good.

X 2: 2 of these are very important to winning your lane, if you start to lose, stacking these can really help.

Mercury Treads: Take these for the tenacity and extra MR.

Bonetooth Necklace: This is an item that only Rengar can take. It makes killing champions much more worth it. It provides more damage than B.F. Sword at level 18 for less than half the cost.

: The passive in this item is unpassable. 700 hp and 20 AD going into it as well? No brainer! Take this in your core build.

: This is great and really helps with fighting the pesky mid lane burst damage champs like Fizz.

That is your core build.

Options:
: Really essiential item here. Life Steal and more AD then Infinity Edge at full stacks.

: Take this when your game is going great and people are feeding you like crazy.

This is the best thing I have ever seen in LoL. I have done it a total of 7 times as Rengar and won every time. Never a=have done it as Kha'Zix.

WHAT IS IT?
It is a quest. When Rengar has the Bonetooth Necklace, and get level 16, and Kha'Zix gets his 3rd point in Void Assault it begins. If Rengar kills or assists in the killing of Kha'Zix, he wins and gets the item Head of Kha'zix. If Kha'Zix wins, he gets his 4th evolution point.

WHAT IS THE HEAD OF KHA'ZIX?
The Head of Kha'zix is an item, that is just the Bonetooth Necklace, but cannot lose stacks. AWESOME if you ask me.

Ok so it is your nemesis. Kha'Zix has some pretty good damage on him, but lacks the sustain. Kha'Zix should be built with a lot of damage and a little bit of sustain.

Now let's talk about what makes Kha'Zix so strong, shall we?

Kha'zix is a melee assassin type champion, who has an insane burst damage, a built in heal, a long ranged poke, and long ranged gap closer, a lock on nuke, and is extremely well at escaping any situation. What makes these possible? His abilities:

Unseen Threat: This is a passive that provides insane damage when in or getting out of a bush. When you cannot see Kha'Zix, he gains a proc from his passive. His next basic attack will slow and do almost double damage in magic damage. Don't fight him in a bush.
Taste their Fear: This is his main damage source when he is fighting. When you are alone it does insanely more damage, so when he jumps you, stay near an ally or minions.When evolved, it deals almost double damage all together.
Void Spike:Kha'zix shoots out a long ranged nuke in a line, 3 if it is evolved, doing major damage and healing him if he is close to the point of impact. He can use this to poke you down all day, and will likely evolve it first.
Leap: The ability is in the name itself. Kha'zix leaps, dealing damage on impact. It gets extremely long ranged if evolved.
Void Assault: Kha'zix gains invisibility for 1 second, and procs his passive, he can cast this again within 5 secinds. If evolved, he can use it a 3rd time. So he will likely use this combo: Leap, Void Spike, Taste Their Fear, Void Assault, Autoattack, Void Assault, Autoattack.
