Hi, I'm Eferhild from SEA region and welcome to my Swain Support Guide. I've been playing League of Legends since August 2014, maybe Season 4. My top rank in Solo Queue was Diamond I.
When I got the news that Swain was getting a rework, it was only a day before he was reworked. And I really don't know how to use this "Create Guide". hehe

About Swain
Swain is an AP Mage, specializing in team fights or can also be an assassin. He has a very strong burst combo at Level 3, where when you land all 3 skills along with your passive, chunks out a massive amount of damage to the enemy. That's where Swain's strength lies.
Back then, I used to think that Swain Support was more like a double-edged sword. But only against certain match-ups.

When To Pick Swain
As a Support with high burst damage even in level one, you can pick Swain against utility supports or any support to be exact.
I believe Swain is much stronger than a Brand support, as Brand cannot offer that much damage on the Laning Phase.

In Game
You should be Aggressive during the Laning Phase, because if you don't, Swain would become a burden at late game. You can pretty much endure the mid-game when you play passively.
At Level 1, you should go ham with the enemy and trade. With E and Passive, you can burst their ADC or Support into half HP. With their HP sinking, they are now afraid to trade with you.
REMEMBER: Do not engage without your passive. With your E, Passive and Auto Attack, it will trigger your Electrocute which destroys the enemy.
The spell combinations would be: E + Pull(Passive) + W + Q = Tada!
If your E missed, avoid fighting with the enemy or do not get caught by the enemy support.
