INTRODUCTION


I really love playing her because of her easy play style and hentai tentacles.
My main role is Jungle and I've been playing it for 4 seasons now. But when i'm not playing it i like to play top.

Passive -
Prophet of an Elder God:
Illaoi periodically a Tentacle on nearby impassable terrain if none are nearby, which remains on the battlefield until killed. To be killed they need to be hit 2 times if
Illaoi is nearby and 1 if she isn't.
They hit Spirits that you get when you hit your
Test of Spirit and also if you use
Harsh Lesson near one of them.
The passive has a 20 - 12 cooldown(based on level).

Tentacle Smash:
Illaoi has a passive and an active on her Q:
PASSIVE: Tentacles deal increased damage.
ACTIVE:
Illaoi slams her idol into the ground, summoning a Tentacle that slams down in the target direction before disappearing.
A good spell that you need to max to increase your Tentacle damage and for better wave clear.

Harsh Lesson:
Illaoi's next basic attack gains bonus range and causes her to dash to her target, dealing bonus physical damage. This spell activates nearby Tentacles to hit once and is a good way to get to a running target.

Test of Spirit:
Illaoi sends a tendril in the target direction that stops at the first enemy hit. If the enemy is a champion, the tendril pulls their Spirit, places it in front of her and tethers it to them, granting True Sight icon true sight of them while it remains.
The Spirit has 100% of the target's current health and lasts for 10 seconds, reduced by 1 second each time
Illaoi receives damage from the target. During this time, the Spirit can be attacked by
Illaoi and her allies, inflicting a portion of the damage it receive.
The damage inflicted is 25 / 30 / 35 / 40 / 45% (+ 8% per 100 AD) for every point you put in leveling it.
The tether will break if the Spirit is killed or when the target moves too far away, slowing them by 80% for 1.5 seconds, and marking them as a Vessel, causing them to spawn a Tentacle every 5 / 4 / 3(level 1 / 7 / 13) seconds for the next 12 seconds.

Illaoi leaps into the air before slamming her idol into the ground, dealing physical damage to all nearby enemies.
Leap of Faith summons a Tentacle for every enemy champion and Spirit hit, which lasts for 8 seconds, during which
Harsh Lesson's base cooldown is also reduced to 2 seconds.

Use your


It's all about winning your lane.
Illaoi is a very strong champion and can out damage some of the most powerful top laners out there.
You must focus on farming and with
Illaoi that ain't hard. Usually if i play my game right i end up with something like 210cs/20min
The important part of the laning phase is the start. Where
Illaoi is the weakest. The thing you need to do is play def and hug your tower if you must. There isn't much you can do pre lvl3 if your jungler comes to gank. So play it out safe and you will be okay. Focus on cs and evade skill shots.
When it comes to trading hits with your opponent do it safely and by safely i mean watch on your mana. The only thing to worry about when you are fed with
Illaoi is mana. You will spend it like crazy, then you will become a free kill for them and a high priority ganking target for the enemy jungler. I usually try to get enemy blue buff if i'm on the Red side of the team and if not i try to pick up some of the healing plants that grow in the river. Also go back only when my
Teleport cooldowns(for max cs).

When you use
Test of Spirit to rip out the enemy Spirit make sure to damage it down before it expires to apply your tentacle spawner and slow them. The
Test of Spirit also counts as an enemy champion so when you use
Leap of Faith it will spawn one more tentacle. So remember to always hit someone with it before using
Leap of Faith.
In team fights you will want to focus on using
Leap of Faith when you are near most if not all of the enemy champions + the Spirit you got with
Test of Spirit. Try not to waste your spells example: You use
Test of Spirit, you got someone, now you flash in and ult and the enemy just run away. Be sure they are willing to fight before you ult(for the max damage).
If a big fight erupts that will be a perfect situation for you to smash them down with the awesome hentai power known as
Leap of Faith. Use your flash too if you need to get in a perfect position to land a 5 man + Spirit ult. Don't overestimate your damage and healing, you should make sure your team is ready to engage with you before jumping in.
