So be calm, breath and look at the mini map and allies’ health bars, if it’s under 40% click R
-
before trading, attack a minion, this'll appear in your screen:
the gray thing in the screen is your grasp timer, when it hits 4 it becomes green, your next AA in a champion will proc the Grasp effect
this should be enough to make you get some procs, you should get at least one item worth of health by the late game (200+ health, so about 60 procs)
-step 1 - mute all
-step 2 - profit
-
lvl 1 - poke with your E and try to land a root, if you can’t it’s fine
lvl 2 - if you got it first, zone your enemy or look for a kill, if not, go for plays behind you adc
lvl 3 - you guys can fight, let's GOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!11eleven!!
lvl 4-5 - nothing to add
lvl 6 and up - you live so that none of your teammates dies, pay attention to your allies' health and use R to save someone...don't delay their death on a 3-man gank tho...that's a waste
-some scenarios you’ll face
-
scared laner - meaning your enemy will let you push lane to his side of the river under his tower, care for ganks, poke even under turret
aggressive laner - meaning they push you under tower, in this case just ping for a gank, remember, your jungler may not be that well aware of what’s happening or maybe he is focused on something else
aggressive supp - meaning the enemy support will be trying to make plays such as a stun or very aggressive poke, imagine a Lux who’s always inside middle bush or hugging river so she can try and land a root on you or your adc, for this matchup you’ll ask your adc to shove the wave with you (more like you with them) while avoiding the side the supp is, meaning, if they’re near river, go to brush and vice versa, when past river, check your map control, are jungle and river warded? no? than go ward right away, ping your adc to be carefull and for him to follow you till just outside wave range (so ping somewhere you’ll place the ward, ping for help and ping again where your adc needs to stay), other than that (such as a kayn comming from under your tower) it’s just jg diff
frontline supp - this refrers to tanks...mostly...so, a leona is in game, wyd? do you poke her? do you attack her? NO, you’ll wait for the enemy team to make a mistake, conserve your mana and health, help your adc to keep the wave balanced (middle of the lane) so your adc can farm and look for poke, you should never go near your adc with a tank on the frontline stay within W range, poke the tank with Q, if either your adc, their adc or their supp engages, silence the adc trying to stay away from the tank, meaning the adc will probably target you, giving space for your adc to trade with the tank more or even kill them (assuming the tank is close to your adc and their adc is just within range of AA). In case of a close quarter combat, where everyone is close up, maintain your distance, you are the backline, you stay away from the fight
clueless adc - your adc doesn’t hear pings? he dives without a huge wave? well we have these types sometimes, i’ve got only one thing to say, SUPPORT HIM, that is your job, he is dumb, be dumb with him
How to approach objective control - you have your shard with 4 charges on it and a red trinket, whenever you see the gray hourglass pop up in the mini map you can ask a teammate to rotate with you to the adjacent lane of that objective (if you are alone in any lane YOU SHOULD’NT BE, you are a ultra squishy support) place wards around the objective while passing by it, 2 on enemy jungle and 1 in the bush towards mid lane then swipe the area with your red trinket, no wards? tell your team! where is your jungler? ping the timer, go back to lane until your jungler goes for the objective
so here is the deal, you are backline, like, REALLY BACK line, if they have an assassin you should be dead, you are not dead because you have good positioning or their assassins are dumb, else you should die first.
if they don’t have an assassin or he’s been stomped, you may not be dead, simple
in team fights you look at the mini map and health bars…and enemy skill usage…guess their cooldowns…look for a silence, heal anyone that’s under 40%…as you can see, teamfights take much out of a soraka, if you can really but REALLY concentrate during those 40ish seconds of fight you can win the game for your team by making the slightest of tweaks, maybe your ashe took absolute focus and has a little under 70% because she’s attacking a tank with sunfire and thornmail (yes she’s a clueless one) heal her and she’s got more power, these are the kind of things that can change a fight to the best, guarantee a pick etc
what you should use the most is to proc your passive and running as your W takes your life away if you dont have your passive up
It’s damage is not great, nor is the range or cast time…so you can use it as ppl are chasing you and you avoid certain death! just place it right in the middle of their way and you are out!
if you want to poke use your E, it has much more pressure, you gain space with it
it's usage is simple, try and use it as you cast your Q, if your Q hits, it wont take your life away (at least not as much)
timing is also very important since you should'nt spam this skill, if you spam you cant keep healthy, try to always stay above 75% health so your Q heals you and you can use W safely
you build CDR so you can spam this skill in teamfights, go ham, make plays happen...in teamfights...lane phase you poke.
in teamfights you create a LOT of space with your E. MAKE YOUR TEAM GO IN
use Shurelya's active to give them speed and try to hit your E on the enemy team (as many ppl as you can)
but if you dont have a team to back you up you'll be useless so try and heal your team the best you can, your R is for emergencies only
