Sona
Sona outscales you hard, and once you hit Plat+ you will have a lot of difficulty beating her. Early on, she's very weak so try to win lane and stomp her before she becomes insane.
Yasuo
The Dream Midlaner, and not a bad ADC for you these days. A bad Yasuo will get stomped due to his lack of range, but a good Yasuo and a good Janna? That's absolute perfection. Everything you do compliments him well. Your Ult and Q both set off his Ult, your shield is great for him, your W is a nice slow to help him stick onto enemies, and you're fast enough to keep up with him. It's a dream pairing. He's Ardent Compatible too.

Champion Build Guide
♡ Introduction
♡ Hiya, I'm Honey, and I've played League since about Season 2. I peaked Plat 2 and have been playing on an off between about 4 accounts on different servers since. Janna has always been my favorite champion and I gravitate to her a lot for her aesthetic and playstyle. This isn't a very standard Janna guide, I have a very particular way of playing her and this guide mainly focuses on that. This guide is suited toward duo players, players who aren't very experienced and might be learning the game, or players who really enjoy the true Enchanter role for what it is.
♡ Why E-Max?
The biggest question I usually get asked is why I choose to Max E first.
Simple. Janna is an Enchanter. She will always be her strongest when playing to her strength, which is shielding. E-Max was always the norm up until about Season 8 when W max took the center stage, but ask why go W-max when you can just play Zyra, Brand, Morgana or Sona? Janna's strengths aren't in her damage, and while her poke can be good, it falls off very hard.
Janna also doesn't scale as well as someone like Sona or Yuumi, she can fall off once you hit about 40 minutes. The less you utilize her strong shielding by trying to focus on poke that can be outclassed by other support mages, the smaller of window you get to really use her strong shield.
♡ Why Guardian?
People are usually confused by why I choose to take Guardian over Aery. Right now, Guardian and the Resolve tree in general gives you so much more utility than the Sorcery tree. There is times in the meta (usually when Guardian is nerfed) that I opt for Aery instead, but right now, Guardian reigns supreme.
♡ Best Itemization
Right now, I'd recommend going Relic Shield instead of Spellthiefs. It is a stronger, safer option that plays better with Janna. NA hasn't caught up to it but most of Korea has swapped to going Relic. I'd always try to rush Ardent, Janna probably makes the best use of it out of any support in the game (argument to be made for Nami or Lulu, but IMO Janna is the best with it.)
♡ General Strategy
I'd recommend focusing on protecting your ADC in lane and poking the enemy ADC when it's an option, but put your ADC's wellbeing as your priority. If you have an early game Jungler, do your best to secure dragons early and prioritize vision on it. Remember to ward further up the river, around drake, rather than just in the bush by lane. If your ADC is inting and is beyond help, or is incredibly self-sufficient and stomping without you, use your superior movement speed to roam as much as possible. If you're roaming a lot, buy Mobis before your second item, otherwise leave it til after.
♡ Teamfights
In Teamfights, your priority is to peel for your carry. Whoever is doing the best, that is your carry, don't babysit a 0/5 ADC who doesn't know what they're doing, beef up that 4/1 Yi and protect him at all costs. Find the win condition in your team and do your best to beef up and protect it. I wouldn't recommend going for the crazy Flash R plays as a beginner, your R CAN be used offensively but it's very easy to mess up. A bad Janna ult can be game-ending.
♡ Warding
As an Enchanter, you don't provide much damage, you need to make an impact elsewhere. The good thing about Janna is her disengage potential and amazing map presence, you are very fast and can disengage well if you happen to be caught out while sneaking in and out of the enemy's jungle placing deep wards. Vision is your biggest asset.
♡ Conclusion
I hope you enjoyed this guide and I hope it helps you improve.
