Introduction
Simple answer.
You want to keep
Clarity because it gives you and your ADC that grand opportunity to use your abilities throughout the game. Tahm is one to be mana hungry, so use that to your advantage.
Tell your ADC when
Clarity is available and give them a 30 second warning before it is ready again. This will prove to be ridiculously useful.
You want to be able to bring
Flash along with you for those sticky situations. It's so useful however it's situational.
You have an injured ally near you. SWALLOW THEM! However, if you see that you are kinda.. Surrounded?
Flash WITH THEM IN YOUR MOUTH! Yes, yes I know. OP. But it works.
Enemy running away?
Flash and slow them!

With the Runes, I'm gonna break it up to make it as simple as can be...
First, Runes are put in place before starting a game to give you that beginning edge.
Second, Yes. You need them. It gives you an unbelievable edge in the game. Go ahead. Buy the runes, use them one game. Then use no runes the next game. You'll see the huge difference.
I decided that Using Straight Up Ability Power would be the best bet because you will be poking a lot in the beginning of the game with said abilities. So, what better than a quick 12 or so boost in ability power!
Using full health seals gives you that edge in the beginning of the game against Champions
I decided to go with Magic Penetration because it will help to dig into their health with your Tongue lash.
I decided on a Cooldown Reduction Glyph Build. This helps a lot in the beginning AND later on because you can Tongue Lash, Tongue Lash, Tongue Lash almost one after another! It slows the enemy for a get away or stuns them if you have enough marks on them.

Tahm Kench is a very Tanky Champion. Which means he is good for Team Fights, Tower diving, and distracting the enemy team. So here's some tips while playing the Swamp King..
With Great Power comes Great Poking. Use your Tongue Lash and your Devour to constantly harass the ADC especially in the beginning.
You're tanky, not invincible. When you start noticing your health about halfway down, start to retreat and put on your Thick Skin to help shield yourself. If you can you are going to want to use Flash to go through a wall or through a wave of friendly minions to help deflect some CC.
When using your stacks of Acquired Taste, be careful.. You can choose to Tongue Lash them, which stuns them, or you can Devour them and spit them out dealing a great amount of damage.
The correct use of Acquired Taste is to use Tongue Lash as much as possible to stun them consistently, and finish the enemy opponent off with Devour.
