Yorick
if your fighting yorick either try and get a kill or two prior lvl 3 or cower behind your minion wave dodging each of his ghoul baits he throws at ya.
get the kill lvl 1 or go home basically, and if you do try and kill him at lvl 3 and over and get walled then get ghoul jumped ahem... well you learned the hard way.

Hello!! im Subject3, a literal nobody who started playing on 2013, quit for a year because i didnt like league, then came back when tahm kench arrived and i just LOVED him, look im a big guy, i love to eat, put it in a slimy southern catfish with charming quotes like ''If your heart is gold and your body is steel, why's tin between your ears?"
i just loved him, but why should YOU read my guide about tahm kench, well, i play him more then any champion combined in league, i played him a lot in the support role and in top lane i won almost any match up, i will be uploading a lot of videos as well and offer lots of updates, i play tahm kench constantly and i dont think ill make any other guide unless i fall in love with another underrated character.
easy to farm CS early for a tank
built in hydra damage in his passive.
one of the strongest 1v1 champions.
can switch between an amazing back line peeler or front line tank.
can turn a fight around by ulting a carry to an objective.
can defend against split pushers.
can offer ally jungler the best gank in top/mid during laning phase
very slow wave clear unless you get tiamat or fire cape.
smart top laners can use red minions against you.
can sometimes swallow a minion by accident.
thick Q that can easily hit a minion.
weak lvl 6 Ult that cant be used during a fight.
his spells can only affect 1 target at a time.
falls off easily mid to late game.
2:25: tahm kench is strong at 1v1 combat he will always win so if you find yourself in this scenario dont back down.
4:55: khazix jumps to safety but out of instinct i go to him incase he will need a swallow from the enemy rengar, you never know.
5:15 darius goes in and eventually i pursue, because darius was getting away and i didnt want to risk tongue slowing a minion i flashed for the kill.
8:25: darius is out in the open no minion waves to block so i q and go in, you can see how i q right after i spit darius out for the extra burst.
10:00 im looking to ult behind him but as i said in the video, darius is lvl 6 he might win the trade which will stop me snowballing out of him. (if you continue up to 10:40 though you will see i was worried for no reason, got the kill easy)
12:15: i ult right in between both escape routes the river and his tower, that way if he goes in both ways ill still be able to reach with my tongue q and secure the kill, it wasnt necessary at this point but take notes in case theres another escape route they can take and your just blocking one of them.
14:17: now this is really important to take note of, in this fight you see how i moved away a bit after stacking 3 times and then swallowed darius out of his tower? dont underestimate how long tahm kench swallow can reach, get used to the range and make use of it to grab your opponents out of their safety to secure the kill, the farther you are able to swallow them as they run the better since you can spit them behind you increasing the distance they have to their turret.
20:34: notice how many times i popped shield, especially the first shield that could have blocked darius ult if he had one, dont stop popping those shields you have low cdr on your E so use it whenever your grey health is in a good thresh hold that can negate most damage before 2 seconds elapse, if you do it any later you will lose most of that grey health for nothing because of time and not because of damage, it just hurts seeing my shield being wasted like that.
4:55: if your enemy has an engage but no disengage, flashing for a q is an easy way to secure a kill if they are rather close to their turrets, and if they flash, its a flash for flash trade, which is rather good.
5:35: 2v1, i popped shield twice in this fight, both negating pantheons spear damage.
7:25 used my ult to force pantheon into a fight, as i said before pantheon has no disengage or mobility whatsoever so he has to confront me into battle, which ended poorly for him.
13:40: if i had to say, tahm kench is a champ when it comes to melee kiting, so enemies like sett that rely on hay maker to deal a load of burst damage is nothing compared to kench, all you gotta do is be close and personal.
21:47: i went behind my allies as they retreat, i alternated between udyr and xayah incase they needed a swallow.
22:00: depending on what your team wants to do you gotta choose between being a backliner support or a frontline tank, in this instance you see that my team is going for a poke so i back the enemy team off by being in the frontline, and when my team is deciding to back off a bit i run to the backline incase either will need a swallow.
23:15 game ends here with an undeserving triple kill, not much to say.
End Note
theres a reason why pantheon is so weak to tahm kench, he has no disengage and his stun isnt enough to make me back off, tahms q takes 3 seconds to wear off, so if i had to say what pantheon did wrong is he used his uhmm.. that shield thing that negates damage, it slows him down giving me an opportunity to catch up.
so moral of the story, if you hate pantheons guts, pick tahm kench, because tahm has a gut that can pick on him for sure.
