INTRODUCTION
Hi! My name is Crite! I'm a streamer and play quite a bit of League of Legends. My primary roles in League of Legends consist mostly of fighters, bruisers and long range mages. With that being said, I typically stick to the champs that I know and play best with. This means that the guides and builds I put together are thoroughly played and tested in many situations. If you ever want to see the type of stuff I am trying out, checkout my Twitch or Youtube channels for some real testing with some of my "unique" ideas.
With that in mind I do have a pretty firm philosophy that I tend to follow with my builds. In order for me to feel confident with a build, you will tend to see that the path to completing the build is very straight forward with very little variation. This tends to be quite an unpopular belief as every game you play is different and may require you as the player to adapt to what the enemy team is bringing to the rift. With all of that in mind, I try to craft my builds to be as all encompassing and simple as possible so that they are well equipped to take on most if not all enemy team compositions while maintaining just about zero variation in build. As you read through this guide, feel free to ask questions or make comments using the discussion button at the bottom of the page!
Cho'Gath is a very simple but quite impactful champion when mastered. What makes him so resilient is the amount of scaling he has off of health. The key to his success is identifying when you can and cannot engage. With Predator + Righteous Glory and the Ingenious Hunter rune, engages are literally as simple as popping your actives and hunting down a squishy target with your ultimate. In order to reach your ultimate's true potential, you'll need to start getting Feast stacks early on. Remember, the SIX of your Feast stacks can be acquired by minions or monsters.
You can't really hurt yourself until you hit that six free stack threshold. The amount of true damage you can inflict is surprisingly high for a champion that is supposed to be a pure tank. With that being said, Cinderhulk, Warmog's and Titanic Hydra in combination with Overgrowth give him all the health he needs to practically one-shot a carry on the enemy team when the game goes late. Gargoyle Stone Plate is just the icing on the cake when making your hard engage for your team. Keep in mind that you aren't a one man army though! You'll need help from your team after you make your engage in order to clean up the fight.
