INTRO
Hi i'm Pileofpuke and this is my Vladimir guide. I like to play Vladimir because he's not easy to play making him fun and challenging. But if you an play him right you rape everyone. he's really good at escaping a team fight and if you're on low hp you can still help at the back with Transfusion.Contents

Summoner Spells
Ghost
Your champion ignores unit collision and moves 32% faster for 14 seconds.
Ignite
Ignite is a damage over time spell that targets a single champion, dealing 50 damage plus 25 damage per level over 5 seconds. Ignite ignores enemy Magic Resist, and reduces healing and regeneration by 50%.
Skills
Crimson Pact - Every 25 points of bonus health gives Vladimir 1 ability power and every 1 point of ability power gives Vladimir 2 bonus health (does not stack with itself).
Transfusion- Vladimir drains the lifeforce of his target, dealing 70 / 115 / 160 / 205 / 250 (+60% of ability power) magic damage and healing himself for 25% (+100% of ability power) of that amount.
Cooldown 8 / 7 / 6 / 5 / 4 seconds | Range 550
Sanguine pool - Vladimir sinks into a pool of blood for 2.5 seconds, becoming untargetable and slowing enemies above him by 50%.
Vladmir deals 15% of his bonus Health in magic damage over the duration and heals himself for 12.5% of that amount.
Cooldown 22 seconds | Cost 20 percent of health | Range 1050
Tides Of blood - Vladimir unleashes a torrent of blood dealing 60 / 90 / 120 / 150 / 180 (+45% of ability power) magic damage to nearby enemies.
Each cast gives him an Empowered stack (max 4), increasing his healing and regeneration by 8% each. Additionally, his next Tides of Blood deals 25% more damage and costs 50% more Health per stack.
Cooldown 8 seconds | Cost 30 / 45 / 60 / 75 / 90 health | Range 300
Hemoplague - Vladimir infects the target area with a virulent plague. Affected enemies take 10 / 14 / 18% increased damage for 5 seconds.
After 5 seconds, infected enemies take 200 / 300 / 400 / (+75% of ability power) magic damage.
Cooldown 120 seconds | Cost 15 percent of health | Range 700
Masteries
I chose to go 10-0-20.
10 in offence to upgrade ignite and get the spell pen.
your a caster not a tank. you don't need defensive.
and 20 in utility avoiding all the mana masterys.
i think ignite upgraded is better than 21 in utility but you can change that.
it's all up to you
Runes
Greater Mark of Insight
greater seal of Fortitude
Greater Glyph of Focus
greater quintessence of fortitude
Items
Start with an amplifying tome to give you a small ap and hp boost then build it into a Hextech Revolver for more ap and spell vamp later on. the boots are optional but i like to get more magic pen seeing as you're a heavy caster. Crystal scepter is a great item on Vladimir for more hp, ap and a slow. It really is a very good item on Vlad and any Vlad build that doesn't have it should be disregarded. Then you get into the heavy AP items just for more owning.
If you want a Warmog's Armour or Will of the ancients get it after Rabadon's Deathcap and don't get Zhonya's hourgalss. By the end of this you have 4k HP and 700-800 ability power.
CORE
Playstyle
Early game
You should take mid and put your first level into Transfusion. chill turret for the first wave of minions to come. Depending on the enemy and their range/movement speed, you should begin to harass them with Transfusion straight away. one thing to remember as Vladimir is if your not on full hp and transfusion is not on CD then make sure your using it! So for the early part just keep spamming transfusion and level it up whenever you can. by starting with Spirit Visage this will give you 20% more healing from 3/4 of your spells and once you get will of the ancients your spell vamp will be 20% more affective so long laning shouldn't be a problem If you feel up for it your killing order should start with for the 10% damage increase then , , , , ,
Mid game
one you hit level 9 transfusion will have a 2 second cooldown which is great for harassing and healing. When ganking make sure to use hemoplague and sanguine pool to allow your teammates to catch up and do extra damage. A skilled Vlad is very good at tower diving because of Sanguine Pool allowing you to become untargetable if can often result in a free kill. just keep farming, ganking and getting fed until late game.
Late game
Now that late game had begun player will tend to travel in packs looking for a team fight so they can ace and push. during a team fight there are 3 things to remember. 1.Your not a tank 2. your not squishy so no need at stand behind the team 3. you can initiate very well if you use hemoplague then dive straight into Sanguine Pool and wait for your team. When a team fight gets quite packed with lost of people in a small area keep using tides of blood when ever you can because it will become very powerful when fully stacked. Just make sure to use Ghost and Ignite when necessary
ENDING
