Amumu suffers alot of mana problems in a duo lane...
mundo is not as good as he used to be... before level 6, people can attempt to tower dive him and he cant do **** about it...just saying, ive done it many times.

Why has nobody mentioned Nidalee?
She's one of the strongest solos in the game, period.
Long range nuke, traps to protect from ganks and one of the best heals in the game with scaling that also increases attack speed. And at 6, cougar, which means you'll never die again so long as your summoners are up.
Also -

Never do this, why? Because here:
1v2 lanes should be playing very passively. If they play too aggressive, it's easy to zone them away from experience or gold.
1v2 lanes should never be pushed. Once again, because it's easy to zone pretty much any solo who has pushed out of their tower. Along with that, your jungler is going to want to gank, and it's really not possible to ensure a gank if you've pushed the lane out.
Support champs do not need CS. One of the biggest reasons for having a solo lane is getting high CS and farm. If you're putting a champ who doesn't need this inside the solo, you're doing something wrong here. :P
