WELCOME TO SEASON 8!!! Hey guys its now season 8 and lets have a moment of silence for the old runes and mastery system its been with us a long time but its finally been redone. So as usual I am updating the guide hopefully you guys find it useful! I haven't gotten a lot of time to do much on trundle but once I experiment more I'll put more info in. P.S. I changed my name to " Im so tilted" so if your looking me up on stuff like na.op.gg this is where youll find me.

When playing

Whenever an enemy dies near

ACTIVE:

After biting his target,

Chomp resets

ACTIVE:

ACTIVE: Trundle projects a pillar of ice at the target location for 6 seconds, Airborne icon knocking back everyone directly over it on cast, acting as impassable terrain for the duration and Slow icon slowing enemies around it.

ACTIVE:

So you've entered a game and you've decided that you want to troll a little bit but you don't want to troll too hard. So of course the most troll-y top laner in the game is of course
Aatrox an- what? The enemy has faker and he banned
Aatrox? Ok well at that point (especially if you are in low elo) you're probably not going to win, but you go with the second best pick in your arsenal;
Trundle. Now I have a list of runes that synergize well with trundle depending on if you want to play more aggressive or more passive(personally I go passive). More often or not you will have to mix and match the runes to fit your playstyle, and how the team wants/needs you to play. Going an aggressive path when your team really needs a front line tank isn't your best pick. Or if the enemy has a
Jax picking a beffy frontliner style won't help you deal with his constant split pressure. Choosing the right runes and items for the situation rest in your hands. However I can give you tips based on what I know works better.
If the enemy team has a lot of front liners and your team is filled with squishies/bruisers, picking a front line tank might not be the worst option, however if you have alot of wave clear, range and poke potentail( ie.
Ezreal,
Caitlyn,
Lux) Then taking the split pusher build works heavily in your favor.
Often times champions have specific stereotypes such as
Blitzcrank is always aggressive,
Janna is extremely defensive, your
Yasuo is going to feed but the enemy teams
Yasuo is a freaking god. This incorporates into how you should play. If your enemy looks for quick trades, pick up
Bone Plating and
Revitalize with an early
Rejuvenation Bead to help reduce the amount of damage you end up taking. If it's an opponent who you know you can beat, and prefers extended trades, take
Conqueror, and pair it with a
Blade of the Ruined King so you can out damage them and come out on top. And of course, if it's a lane opponent who you know scales evenly but has a worse early game take
Chrysalis and abuse the early game.
Now generically if you look at this build guide you tend to be lower elo. In Low elo people don't understand the specific times as to when its better to push, give up an objective, or group up. Sometimes its better if you ignore the call for grouping and decide to split a bit. This either forces pressure off of your team allowing for a better push, or lets you get an objective. If baron is up, you have tp, and you see the enemy and your team starting a fight, don't continue splitting like your team wants, tp in there and help them out, because trading baron for a single tower is in no ways worth.
Recently I had a game where I was most of what was keeping our team in the game. I was looking for rotations, I was managing pressure and I was making reasonable calls. Our jungler ended up flaming me calling me useless and afk saying that I was the weakest on the team when actually I was the strongest. At times like this take a look at the score board, take a look at the map and see what you can do to best help your team. I won't lie his comments ended up tilting me, but I stuck to my style of play and eventually won us the game by easily breaking into their base.(This one is more of a general game tip than champ tip but still good adivce!)

Tip 1) Always look at the team comps:

Tip 2) Know your opponents generic playstyle:

Tip 3) Don't always play the way your team wants:

So this is a theoretical build dps split and it'll probably work against more aggressive lane opponents.

Now your main thing to do is split. You split harder than a banana, especially when your team is looking for an objective. When they do look for an objective check to see if you have
Teleport. If you do push out a lane farthest from the objective. So if your team is going for baron, push out bot, that way you get to make a judgement call. You can either
Teleport to help your team fight at
baron, or you can get towers bot lane and if the enemy gets
baron then make sure you get a tower or 2 for it.

So this is very similar playstyle just less high risk high reward. In this set up you go for a tankier rune setup and depending on how you are faring in lane you go either
Titanic Hydra or
Ravenous Hydra. This is honestly a great style because the split push potential is great and you also offer more in team pushes. Plus it will help you alot more the better you are at csing.

So what is "int". So most people in the community if you didn't already know refer to "inting" as intentionally feeding. I refer to it as the point where I end up dying a bunch for stupid reasons & I call myself a boosted monkey at least 5 times during the game (plz dont do this to your teammates). So matchups where you think you are going to lose hard you should really go second tree inspiration & build tanky early with maybe a
Tiamat for wave clear. I recommend
Minion Dematerializer, so when the wave crashes into turret you can clear it faster.
2)If you like to play in the minion wave get yourself some
Biscuit Delivery so you can do some small speedy recovery in lane instead of having to back constantly.
3) If you even think its a possiblity you will get camped by the enemy jungler , go for
Future's Market so you can get the key items you need when you need them.
Usually on the second point I go for
Magical Footwear because it means you don't have to buy boots, if you for some strange reason end up dominating you have some bonus movement speed early on (the time you get the boots at goes down by 30 seconds each time you get a kill).

-
1) If you play passively they won't let you step up for cs so get

2)If you like to play in the minion wave get yourself some

3) If you even think its a possiblity you will get camped by the enemy jungler , go for

Usually on the second point I go for

Difficulty: Easy
An easy matchup is one which you should usually win

Difficulty: Medium
a medium matchup is one which tends to be more skill based but can be won

Difficulty: High
a difficult matchup for you, expect to lose lane

Try to cs to the best of your ability and you can use your q to help clear winions(I call minions winion because champions dont win games, winions do). If your enemy gets too close to them feel free to auto>q them for a bit of free damage then back off a bit. If your opponent is hard engaging on you that usually means one of a few things:

-
1) The jungler is coming and trying to kill you, meaning you should be on the alert
2) hes going to get a lvl on you within the next winion or 2 and he'll have the lvl advantage on you, meaning you should try to get some distance till you guys have the same lvl
3) he's realy freaking stupid
4) he's really freaking fed, meaning run and cs under turret, even though he'll most likely dive you
The best source of engage is something that appears from nowhere........Like a giant
Pillar of Ice cutting you off from the rest of your team. Your
Pillar of Ice will help you make easy picks or force a flash or an engage. If you do go for a team fight, ult the most fed or closest tank on your team and jump onto their mid or ADC and get rid of them. The reason you ult the tank is because your team can tear apart the tank with more ease and you get increased resistances making it harder for you to be taken down. Using your
Pillar of Ice and
Frozen Domain to catch up to enemies is never a bad idea
*credit given to player I was not involved in said gameplay
