Introduction
Psychiatric support. That's right- almost everything on sona is auto aim - and easily done- hence you get to focus on getting your team pumped and ready to not suck!!
its to be noted that sona is a team player- and you do NEED your team to win- your job is to be the nanny - make sure no one is raging - and get them organised - YOU ARE THE BRAIN- YOU ARE A TECHNICAL ADVANTAGE
FOCUS SUPPORT - like i mentioned - your goal is to make everyone else OP- you are not the center of attention- you are not the big scary carry!
my tree is focused on this particularly- giving loads of technical advantages to my team - keeping me in game and in fights longer and healing all game long
my tree is focused on this particularly- giving loads of technical advantages to my team - keeping me in game and in fights longer and healing all game long
This is where i get alot of criticism
The big fashion at the moment is lich bane - and although efficient in its own right
I completly disagree with this
new sona players play sona like any other champ - focusing on her unique passive : power chord
This consists of using three spells and using your next auto attack to implment one of the following effects :
- Loads of damage when last spell is Q
- AD Debuff when W is last used
- a Slow when E is last used
these effect are ALL awesome when used well, but concentrating on lich bane means you intend to use the Q version of power chord alot- and do damage- WHICH IS NOT YOUR JOB
- Your job is to make sure that everyone else is fed
Now the start items are pretty basic- spell thief because you want to be offensive so you can poke down - cookies so you dont waste mp on healing you- and ward because vision is all!
A big trick alot of supports use is to hide in bush -thus wards wards wards
For optimal performance you should back when you have around 1300 gold- this permits you to get sightstone and frost fang- thus rewarding your pokes and keeping sight on the ennemy at all time- its also time to switch your trinket-
Next you want to back for 720 gold - and get the tear- so you can build early
follow up by rushing the morellonomicon, because cdr+ ap+ mp regen for 2100 = fun time
as time goes on - get boots, finish the staff - and the rest is more or less maliable - so long as you dont forget to getthe remaining 20% cdr and buttloads of ap
but i go usualy - finish sweeper, get the grail, choose a strategic last item- sell the frostfang and buy last item, my favorite being the rabadon because its a huge boost to ap- and thus huge boost to your entire kit - instead of just your Q ....like lich bane does
