So you wish to master the ways of the Udyr?
Then sit down and listen.
Udyr is a very powerful champion with a lot of potential.
He is very underrated and not very many people know how to play against him and how to shut him down, and if Udyr gets to the late-game with decent farm Udyr will carry the game!

Not many players pick Udyr in ranked games, therefore he is almost always available for you to pick.

You should pick Udyr when you know that your lanes will have control and not feed, and you have time to farm, and not always have to gank lanes.

You should pick Udyr if you want:
-A heavy Off-Tank
-Fast jungle clear
-Have fun

You'll want to be constantly stacking your flare and farming, and if you do it right you'll end up being about 2 levels over the most powerful player in the Rift.

The only problem is if you get counter-jungled early on, or if you get killed, you'll be really far behind and you won't have an impact on the game early whatsoever.

He is also very squishy in the beginning, so don't bite off more than you can chew. This has gotten me killed a couple of times.

You have to learn his passive Bridge Between

Everyone should know that they must have Smite in the jungle, it helps you survive, secure, and conquer the jungle. It's essential for securing Baron Nashor and Dragon Always take this spell when you're jungling!


Teleport is also a great way to secure a dragon or baron, you can place a ward, go back,and then teleport to Dragon or Baron Nashor and secure it for your own team. [[Teleport is also a great way to get quickly back to your jungle to get more stacks, and gain an edge!


If you want to ditch the Teleport and rather go either Flash or Ghost I would recommend Ghost over Flash because Ghost synergizes so well with Udyr's Blazing Stampede and you'll be able to catch up with anyone, even Nidalee with her Pounce

All you want to do as Udyr is stacking your Feral Flare and farming your jungle, you can eventually help your team, but you'll mostly want to keep stacking and farming.
Farming and stacking makes you stronger, makes you level up like a Zilean and earns you gold like you're a Blitzcrank
