Dr. Mundo Passive Ability
Introduction
Build Ruby Sightstone first so that you can provide vision to your lane. Next, begin building Runic Bulwark for survivability for you and your ADC. Spirit Visage is a great item for Mundo no matter what role. Randuin's Omen allows you to chase down enemies and better tank tower. At this point, wards are not necessary. Sell your sightstone and work on biulding a Frozen Mallet, which helps with chasing, and the damage is nice to have when taking towers. Last but not least, buy a Warmog's for the health and regen.
While some may disagree with building only health, Mundo is built around health. Not only does he have to be able to take a lot of damage, but it is also his resource. Having extra health early game is essential to winning your lane. Having some scaling is always nice because your health will increase with level without purchasing items. In my opinion, health runes are better for Mundo than armor and magic resist runes, because the amount of armor and magic resist you get from them is miniscule, and you will build enough armor and magic resist to hit the soft caps in game.
Flash can get you out of a lot of sticky situations, especially when tower diving or backdooring.
I use Ignite to bring down enemies' health a bit so the ADC can take them out. This is very helpful early game.
Heal is also a very viable summoner spell as any support champ. Pick what ever suits your play style.

Starting out with Infected Cleaver will allow you to poke really well, enabling your ADC to get kill minions and get CS. The slow makes it great for chasing or being chased. Maxing it first means you can put as much damage in on enemies before your ADC comes in for the swift kill. Upgrade your ultimate whenever you can, for it is a life saver. Masochism is great for backdooring towers late game, while burning agony helps you chunk down minions for your ADC to kill in early game.
** Always remember that you can use your ultimate to stay in lane so that the enemy doesn't push a tower. **

When playing Dr. Mundo as a support, you will need to be as offensive as possible. As long as you follow this guide, you will be a huge presence in lane and the other team won't want to mess with you.
First off, fighting before minions spawn is recommended. You and your ADC should be able to destroy any competition you have early game. Have him follow you into the enemy bush after throwing a cleaver in, land ignite on someone and focus him. If they don't die, you'll still have huge lane presence. They will have to recall, leaving you and your ADC to get minion fed.
When ADC is attacking tower, you need to keep the enemy champions from hitting him. If you can, stand behind the tower and freeze the lane to maximize ADC's time hitting tower. If you can't do so, sit just out of range of the tower and throw cleavers at the enemies. You may even get them low enough to tower dive them...
In which case, you should get in range of tower and start to hit the enemies. Be sure to attack before your ADC so that the tower will target you. The enemies will start to run to their next tower in an attempt to get away. Throw cleavers to get the enemy low and slowed, but always be sure to give your ADC the kill. Then, get back in lane, have your ADC CS and hit the tower.
By this point, you should have enough gold for a sightstone. Recall to buy one when most convenient. Here are some of the best places to place wards to increase vision and protect from ganks.

If your laning phase went well, late game will be a breeze. Stay close to your ADC at all times and remember that your job is to keep him alive. Communicate with your team and move as a unit. Nothing can stop a fed ADC, a Mundo tank and their team.
In the off chance that your early game wasn't good and you are losing, do not fear! Mundo goes where he pleases! Mundo can backdoor towers (walk around the enemy team out of sight and take out towers without minions) without much trouble. This is a very dangerous tactic because once the enemy team notices you attacking a tower, they will likely all run to you and try to stop you. You will need your entire team to play along for this to work. Your team will have to stay in sight of the enemies so they know where most of the team is, so suspicion will not be raised. You may want to have an AD champ (preferably the ADC) to come with you so the tower will go down faster, but it is risky because the less of the team the enemy sees, the more suspicious they will be.
