Hey guys! my name's P.kaCHEW and I'm currently playing in the Asia server. This is my first ever guide so i hope you'll drop a recommendation or two. i used to have another better acc but that got lost so I'm starting from scratch. I'll be writing about my favourite and main champion Garen , in the Jungle.

the runes are pretty self-explanatory so I'll just skip this part. feel free to tweak it though.

For the masteries I already said everything i need to say in the notes above.

Here I'll be talking about Garen's items.
first off ,


This is a traditional Jungler start currently. you could also switch refillable potion with health potion
.

For his first back , you'll want to get a hunters talisman
this , with your hunters machete are used to complete stalkers blade.
you'll also want a ward or two and a ruby crystal for your cinderhulk. I'm starting to become lazy so I'll just list down the items and explain their function.

Items You should probably rush :


The black cleaver. This item is the bread and butter of garen. this item on garen is a must no matter the build. It turns him to an armour shredding monster when combined with Garen's E.


An almost must have item on garen. This is almost always used on garen except for support and full tank garen. it gives you armour penetration and damage and will enable you to catch and destroy people.


The reason I'm going for stalker's and cinderhulk is so that i can get tankier and slow my opponent while dealing massive DOT.


I personally love this amazing item. It should almost always be gotten on garen as it gives health , armor , some movement speed and a minor slow.

boots:

This gives you movement speed to gank alot.


This let's you chase down noobs.


So that f**king Teemo and MOrgana can't make life that mush of a hell for you.



only go this if your opponents are full AD or you keep getting banged by AD aa champs.


Situational Items:


go titanic if you're going tanky. It gives hp and an amzing wave clear.





BOTRK and the bloodthirster are really optional tbh almost never built.




phantom dancer is a very good item on garen as it gives you MS and crit chance. i don't really buy infinty on garen anymore cuz it got nerfed. stattik shiv could replace phantom dancer as it gives garen a wave clear.

Armor and tankyness:


GIves GAren a sh*t ton of health.


gives him MR and makes him regenerate more health.


Makes him tanky , gives him damage , gives him a shield and a damage increase when ****s are poking him too hard. nuff said.


gives you a **** load of armor and makes you an ADC's nightmare. don't buy this as your first armor item though. armor without health is useless.


stats and price are almost similar with DMP. instead of an on-hit slow and MS however , this gives an AOE slow.


another alternative to sterak's gage. gives an on-hit slow , hp and some damage.

If your playing support-ish:


Gives HP , regen , CDR and an aura as well as an active.


cinderhulk for HP and DOT. going tracker's instead of stalkers for the vision.


ruby sightstone for more vision and a little HP.

A must have for most junglers


awesome gap closer and escape mechanic.

Spells that you may try:




as far as I'm concerned , others are ****.

Basically you'll want to start at krugs or gromp depending on your side. Then , proceed to clear raptors/ wolves before taking the buffs. You'd probably want to give the blue to your mid laner cuz you don't need mana. Aim to gank once you're Lv3. your typically pre-6 combo is Q-E-aa-q-aa-e
later on just ult when their low.

PROS

* fun to play
* versatile
* easy to learn
* great early-mid game

CONS

* tends to be weaker late game
* no gap closer
* Tends to not be able to kill cjamps with shields E.G : Fiora , Jax
