Champion Build Guide
TITLE IS MEANT TO SAY: HAIL OF BLADES KENCH (GETTING THEM PHAT STACKS FASTER THAN YOU CAN ***) since it's too long to show it all
Hi, I am an Iron 1 Tahm Kench player who really likes to play Tahm Kench. I've only played 3 ranked games this season, all without Tahm Kench, and I may have around a -192364% winrate overall, but I still got sum phat knowledge. I have played Tahm Kench ever since I started playing League, which was in late Season 8 and I assure you that if you like TK and are good at him, you are obligated to try this build at least once. This build is around the Domination Rune: Hail of Blades
Btw, this is my first guide, and so it will not look as proffessional as all the others ooph
If you cannot tell already, Tahm Kench is without a doubt my favorite/most played champion to play, as his kit, mainly his and , is a powerful tool not only to help take control over an enemy champion, but also to save and troll allies! I don't generally see him being played as in this meta which saddens me ●︿● Although he isn't no Thresh or Pyke, Tahm Kench is, in my opinion, one of the most enjoyable supports to play, and not just because he's thick-skinned, if you get me. It's also hilarious when you're able to pull off spitting out an ally over a wall, into a tower, or into the enemy base xd!
You will need to keep in mind that if you wan't to go the greedy route/play style as TK, it is best to use the Coin Emperor skin since it gives you extra clout. If you are looking for an in depth guide on the barebones on how to play Tahm Kench without any prior knowledge, then this is not the place for you!
Use these runes at your own risk! I highly prefer you to not use this build and runeset unless you actually are comfortable with playing Tahm Kench and you know how he works... also if the stupid emoticons UwU are annoying you, just tell me and I'll delete them, because I already caught a few chromosomes just by looking them up.
yes. twy it (・ω<)☆
PROS TO USING THIS BUILD/RUNEPAGE:

You will no longer be lackluster when starting fights
Element of surprise (mostly in Iron)
Big Damage
N-Word Pass (jkjkjk don't blame me for being this way blame my momma)
Coin Emperor skin gives you free loot
Hail of Blades scales and has low cooldown
Even if HoB is down, your AS items will make it up
Lane pressure (everyone's gon respect ur crippin)
Coochie magnet (everyone's gon get a taste of you whether they like it or not)
Plus, enemy won't have time to *** when they see your
You are Moto Moto
Infinite Clout
Infinite Coochie
CONS TO USING THIS BUILD/RUNEPAGE:
Ok no but seriously:
Less Utility
Less of a... support I guess?
Will get flamed if you don't do good
You're still only Tahm Kench, just more swag. You still have to get into melee range against anyone, and you still have low mobility in fights. Overall, it can be a "High-risk High-reward" type of situation.
Uhhh but aside from that there basically are none ◕w◕
-
Being able to flash with an ally in your tummy owo
Being able to flash to an ally to put in your tummy
Being able to flash and instantly get one more quicc stacc to swallow
Being able to input buffer with your
-
Being able to flash with an ally in you into enemy Nexus (most ideal)
For your secondary, I would usually take , which may not seem ideal, but trust me... most of the time, especially in Iron, you're gonna need it in order to *ahem* "Kill Secure..." if you know what I mean. (• ε •)
If you really want, tho, you can take . It's a good pick, (probably the better) but I prefer because I'm not a beta bi
For your secondary runes,
I would usually take Inspiration , mainly because it allows me to take the money hungry coin emperor super swag meiser tahm kench rune Futures Market If you want to go Coin Emperor TK,you're going to want to take this for the early item advantages and for the pleasure. The rest is all up to you.
I take to make it a lil easier to catch an enemy that has been impaired in movement, either from my or from my carry's slow (if they have one). However, taking the or is not at all a bad choice. It's really based on taste/preference, or maybe even depending on the enemy comp.
Obviously, you would want to take the +10% Attack Speed, +6 Armor, and the Extra Health for extra tankiness.
Another choice for your secondary runes could be for quick and easy tower damage, as well as pressure, and to last a lil longer during fights.
Alternatively, you could also take for the extra damage, which works really well when you're engaging and you're is ready (.❛ ᴗ ❛.)
Your play-style when taking these runes will obviously more aggressive. (Duh)
Even at level 1, the time it takes for you to get your 3 stacks on an enemy will only take about 1.5 seconds, as opposed to a little over 3 seconds w/o . That means you can/could quickly catch people off guard with a quick stun, or when at lvl 2, a . Of course, you will still have to be wary of cc, but if you can avoid it, then you could close the gap and quickly get your 3 stacks, keeping the support/adc (whoever is the priority) from the fight between you and your carry. Remember that you can also cast your [Q] and [E] while you have devoured an enemy. In between trades and fights, you simply want to poke with your whenever you can, and if you're trying to stay as far away from the enemies as possible, you can poke from a range by [Q]+[W] a minion and Regurgitate it. Even though I said that you want to be playing aggressive, that doesn't mean you're going to try to fight every single time. With some champion you'll play against, you'll just keep getting poked down. You want to play aggressive when the opportunity comes, like when the enemy has wasted their cc or main abilities, but some times, you gotta be patient, like when facing against Karma or Lux.
By the time you get near full build, you'll be able to get your 3 stacks in less than a second. When I tested it in practice mode, I got around .75 seconds, or 3/4 of a second. That's pretty wack. In team fights, no one is going to want to be in your belly. With only .75 seconds to react, you can easily take a single member, either a bruiser, adc, or tank, or whoever is a big threat, away from a fight for a little while, but that little while can make the difference in a teamfight. Without Haill of Blades, you'll still be able to get your stacks in REALLY quick, since you'll have some phat AS items. After using your , you'll have 4 seconds until your comes back. Even so, you can still get your 3 stacks on another enemy, or on the same enemy, and STUN their cheeks repeatedly without having to swallow them. Once again, your AS items will still make you quick af, so after some seconds, you'll be able to devour them again.
Something I like to is make use of the HoB pressure by blocking/zoning off some enemies, who are being chased by allies, with your along with someone else and you'll be able to quickly catch a tiger by it's toe in a second or less, where you can Devour them and keep them till your team catches up and have your partner chase the other nibba. This way you can ambush those suckas from behind without consent and ********. At the very least, you'll probably burn a flash, unless you succ pp jk.
Welp. There you go. My very first Tahm Kench "Guide."
I -almost- always take these runes with Tahm Kench, although the build can change, because being able to surprise the enemy with how quick you can them, take a lil taste, and instantly Regurgitate them right behind you is absolutely amazing. It also makes Tahm Kench a more fun champion for me to play.
Ok, I admit, Hail of Blades isn't THAT fast in the early game. The enemy'll probably be able to have time to *** before they get swallowed... unless you're full build of course. That's a totally different situation, and if they try and test you, get ready to UNBENCH THE KENCH... but I'll let you find out how satisfying it is by yourselves.
Aight that's all the time I'm gonna invest into this guide, I still got homework. This may be my only guide I ever make, so I'll try to update it as much as possible. Last but not least, I present you with the following that I found on the web while doing my Literature hw:
